Hi ladies. I had my first appointment this past Friday (my OB doesn't see you until you're at least 8 weeks) and she couldn't find a heartbeat on the ultrasound. She sent me for some blood work and it came back that my progesterone was low. Whether that was the cause or effect is unknown but if we decide to try again they will get me in for the betas right away. It kind of sucks that they wait for you to experience a miscarriage before they'll start doing betas from the get go.
I'm devastated as I've felt more symptoms this pregnancy than with any of my other three with my kiddos. I had no idea or worry that this would be the outcome.
Anyway, I did have the follow up ultrasound today just to make sure there was no growth/dates were off but no dice.
