favorite co-sleeper??

after having a csection with my daughter it was difficult to get up and down all night to get her out of the rock'n'play to feed her. I ended up co sleeping with her in our bed and it was a hard habit to break, plus I'd like something safer. This time, I'd like to have a better plan... ive looked at the arms reach cosleeper and the halo. can anyone offer any insight on these two products or any other that you loved? I do worry the halo wouldn't be able to be used for very long and it is quite expensive.

Re: favorite co-sleeper??

  • We used the Halo for my son and I loved it. Thankfully I kept it and will be using it with this baby as well. In my opinion it was worth it. I liked that it was literally right next to and sometimes even over my bed/mattress

  • I used a pnp that has a bassinet on it. But I might consider the halo this time.
  • Arms reach!

  • We used an Arm's Reach Co-sleeper. It worked great! We had it attached to my side of the bed so I didn't have to get out of the bed for middle of the night feedings. With the PNP bassinet feature, I would have had to stand up out of bed to get her which doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you're exhausted, anything to make life easier is wonderful.

  • @March2008 i don't even want to bend let alone get out of bed lol..

@LeilaD123 this may or may not be our last child so I don't know that I'll get to use it again. What's the weight limit on it? For some reason I have 10 lbs in my head but that can't be right

    Almost sure it's 20lbs
  • I also have the arms reach co sleeper and love it. I use it until LO can push up to a crawl position. Not sure what'll the actual weight limit is.
  • We had the arms reach for my 2nd. It was great, we put it on my side of the bed. And then even after we moved the baby to his own room, I still kept it next to my side of the bed because then my 4yo could do the creepy staring-in-the-middle-of-the-night thing to my husband, not me!

  • We love our baby bay! It's easy to nurse in and baby still has their own space

  • where can you buy a babybay? How much do they normally cost?
  • I think they are online only. We got ours right when they came out and I think they went for $300 then. They can be used for a lot longer than the halo thing
  • I bought one for my 2nd and thought I'd use it for sure (used a RNP for my first). She had awful reflux and would never lay flat (or anywhere other than me for that matter) so it was never used. I ended up selling it on Craigslist and it was basically in new condition. If you're dead set on it, I would try looking there first. Almost all the ones I saw at the time I listed mine were also in brand new or close to brand new condition.
