Next milestone/appointment? I have a regular appt tomorrowas with the nurse practitioner. After this I go every 2 weeks.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I am bringing my 2 girls and my niece to the appt. So a 2, 3 and 4 year old. Oigh. Wish me luck!

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid? I wanted to be a vet when I was little. My 4 year old wants to be one now :-)

Rant/Rave/Anything else: WHY cant I ever get to a good place with my MIL? Is it me? It seems like our relationship is so uncomfortable and I hate it. She is visiting for 2 days this coming weekend and I'm already dreading it :-( just ranting

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid? Im pretty sure I wanted to be a marine biologist or something when I was a kid... and then in college I thought Id be an archaeologist for a while. The I realized I needed to make money and went into business admin ha ha. Oh well.
Next milestone/appointment? Check-in with midwife on Thursday
Rant/Rave/Anything else: My parents are visiting, and I get along fine with them, but my mom is all over my belly all the time. DH doesn't really do the belly kisses or talking to baby, so it's been weird to have someone so all over me. I have a "hands off the bump" shirt I got for $1 at a garage sale so maybe I'll wear that for awhile tonight.

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid? A policewoman, then later I wanted to be an astronaut.
@rspalding001 - I hope the 2 days with your MIL fly by and your guy takes on the majority of the responsibility for the time with her.
Next milestone/appointment? Have my last 4week appt tomorrow before going to 2weeks plus I get me strep test tomorrow as well.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: My DD#1 told me that while my mil had her a couple weekends ago she told her that she didn't like her and started listing reasons!!!!! Unfortunately isn't not surprising just a reminder of why she gets cuff off from seeing my kids and no damn help from DH and I.

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a Model and a neonatal (I think I spelled it correct) nurse! When I was 11/12 my little cousin was in the nicu and it broke my heart seeing babies so helpless. Of course once I had my own child my husband and I agreed that wouldn't be the best choice since I'm so emotional.
@MollySm good luck with that I have a hard time with my 10,8&5yr I couldn't imagine them all being under 5!
@rspalding001 Nope I think all mil are just here to test us!
@lajoliedreamer I'm the same way I don't mind my kids or DH because it's not constant but anyone else I wanna punch I just don't like to be touched! Hope the shirt helps maybe it can be a joking way to tell her it makes you uncomfortable...

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid? I wanted to be a pediatrician or a teacher. Pediatrician never happened because I didnt want to be in school that long. I did get a job in the education field- just not a teacher.
Next milestone/appointment? Thursday is loss#1 edd.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: just trying to keep pretty distracted this week. It helps that it's Apple launch and I have concert tickets for Thursday evening. DH and I are going on a double date with a couple of his co-workers. I'm pretty excited since I really don't have a ton of friends IRL. Working retail makes it hard to make and keep friends cause the hours suck and I'm usually working weekends.

GTKY: What was your dream job when you were a kid? I always get a good laugh at this question because I never really had a job that I REALLY wanted to do but I've always wanted to be a mom so I guess my dream job would be a SAHM?
