How far along are you? 7 weeks

How big is baby? Blueberry, Tic Tac, a Viagra pill

Appointments this week? Appointment on Tuesday!!!!

Symptoms? Nausea (but no vomiting), tender boobs (though less than weeks past), RLP. In general, I feel like symptoms are lessening (for now).

Rant/Rave/Questions? Other than my appt, nothing much going on here. I'm curious to see how the baby is doing/growing. Going to a birthday party for my nephew today, so I can't wait to eat all the pizza!

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? Total: 5 years. 1 dating, 1 engaged, 3 married. Makes it easy because he proposed on our 1 year anniversary and then we got married 2 days shy of our 2 year anniversary.

How far along are you? 11 weeks

How big is baby? The size of a donut hole (Seeing my ticker change this morning made me crave donut holes. Just returned from the grocery store and am snacking on them now. Fabulous decision)

Appointments this week? No appointments for two weeks.

Symptoms? Getting better. In general I have more energy but I have been taking about an hour nap after school each day and then I am EXHAUSTED by 9pm and going to bed. During the day I have been feeling great though. Vivid dreams, sore boobs again this week. Going to the bathroom frequently. Food aversion (chicken is not my friend right now)

Rant/Rave/Questions? Starting to feel more human again so I have been in a much better mood this week. I was a hormonal mess last week. Poor DH. Ready for first tri to be done (almost there!) and continue to get more excited.

Perhaps question, how early is too early to start buying baby stuff?! We have been buying a couple of gender neutral outfits that we find on sale until we find out in November, but when do others plan on starting to make bigger purchases? We also thought about starting to buy a pack or two of diapers each week.

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? 2 1/2 years. Dated for almost a year, engaged almost a year and a half. Married for almost two months now.

We went to college together so we have known each other for longer.

@wagnerw If you are going to buy diapers, I would definitely spread out the sizes. Buy a couple packs of newborn, and then buy the rest larger. Babies grow so fast! Or...make sure that you keep a receipt and can return them if baby grows faster and you have a ton of small diapers left over. And I also don't see anything wrong with starting to buy/look/research the bigger things. I'm assuming there will be tons of deals for Black Friday.

How far along are you? I'll stick with 9 weeks for now

How big is baby? cherry

Appointments this week? f/u appt and ultrasound on tuesday and it cannot come soon enough

Symptoms? the progesterone I just started taking is giving me lots of cramps and brought back all of my exhaustion.

Rant/Rave/Questions? last week at my ultrasound the baby only measured 6 weeks so I'm really hoping that this week they say just kidding you're measuring 9 weeks and everything's great now! But I'll also be happy with 7 weeks and a strong heart beat. I'm just pretty nervous.

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? 6 years total, next month will be our 3 yr wedding anniversary.

@wagnerw I think mine is an unpopular opinion but I don't think it's ever too early I'm a big fan of being prepared and I'm not patient at all. I agree on spacing diaper sizing out, If you google diaper stock piling you'll find a few blog posts on good amounts to have on each size.

Appointments this week? I had an appt this past week, got to see the blob and hear the heartbeat. I go back in 4 weeks

Symptoms? extreme exhaustion but also insomnia

Rant/Rave/Questions? I think I'm too tired to think of anything

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? 4 years next month

we are engaged and planning a destination wedding in Mexico for next December

How far along are you? 7 weeks

Appointments this week? First ultrasound this Tuesday.

Symptoms? Moderate to bad fatigue for the past two weeks. Some days, like today, I feel out of breath just doing household chores or mowing the lawn. This is a new feeling for me as I am typically pretty active, so I look forward to this stage passing in the second trimester. Sore boobs and heart burn for the past two weeks too.

I haven't had much nausea or food cravings yet. I'm actually shocked that I haven't been all that hungry and the only food aversion I have is to alcohol (which is what made me want to take a test at week 5 because I started not to like the taste of my favorite beers).

Appointments this week?

I had one yesterday and it was awful. But the baby is fine. As far as I know.

Symptoms?

Exhaustion. Insomnia. Horrible combination. Slightly less nauseated but still an obnoxious level of sick. Ugh.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

I feel horribly about how completely over this I feel. I'm so excited for my baby. I really am. She will be so loved. But I hate the making of process.

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? Complicated question. Haha. We'll go with 4 years? Married close to 2.

Just exhausted! But feeling pretty lucky as I don't have MS.

I am currently travelling in Italy for my first time with my family! It's been amazing. But my aunt won't stop complaining. It's super annoying especially since if anyone was to complain about being tired it should be me! Oh well, I am thouroughly enjoying the food and gelato

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? We met in high school. We dated back then, and after a long time apart, got back together. We've been together for 4.5 years now, married for nearly 2.5.

Appointments this week? Nope, I had one last week. My next one is in early October.

Symptoms? Nausea/vomiting all damn day. Finally got the diagnosis of hyperemesis, not that it makes me feel any better.

Rant/Rave/Questions? This increased sense of smell paired with terrible nausea is making me very angry at my puppies lately. They smell so bad. How often can you bathe a dog without hurting it's natural oils?

How big is baby? Cherry or olive, I think.

Appointments this week? Yes! One on Thursday. Crossing fingers we hear a heartbeat.

Symptoms? Exhaustion. Vomiting about once a day. Nausea.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Tired of feeling sick. I am looking forward to the second trimester SO MUCH.

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? Together for 9 years, married for 6 years (almost 7).

How big is baby? The size of a strawberry or petit four (according to the Ovia app).

Appointments this week? No, next appt. is on 9/28 at 12 weeks.

Symptoms? My symptoms have really improved the last couple days. Still dealing with the fatigue but the nausea has subsided a bit.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Sorry I'm a bit late with my check-in. I don't like doing these on mobile so I actually had to get out the laptop to do this! Also for the first time in my life I am participating in a fantasy football league... and it is NOT going well.

GTKY: How long have you and your SO been together? Together for 12 (!) years, married almost 7.

@samdags I can relate -- it is so hard to keep active during the 1st tri! For the last couple weeks I haven't felt up to going to the gym, but I've been going for walks. I really think they make me feel better and the fresh air gives me more energy.
