4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
Re: Moms of Multiples 9/5
35+6, twin boys
2. Milestones and appointments
36 weeks tomorrow, and babies next week!!!
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Last week was so painful, then Saturday night the boys were shifting around and all the sudden my hip popped and I got so much relief! Yesterday I seriously barely felt pregnant. Of course they're shifting again so my pelvis is getting out of whack, but it was a wonderful bit of reprieve.
My OB is out of office until the 12th because he is having a minor surgery himself, so I'm hoping these boys stay put until he's back. I have an appt the 13th, then babies either the 14th or 16th!
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
We're not really fans of Halloween, so we won't be doing anything this year. I do think it would be fun to dress all three boys as m&ms in a year or two
33+2 girls - Cora and Carlisle
2. Milestones and appointments
NST and BPP on Thursday - hopefully no PTL before then sending us to the hospital.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Everything. Hurts. I had a mental breakdown over the weekend, saying I couldn't do it anymore. Even when they move, it hurts. I'm not sleeping because I'm throwing my whale-of-a-self out of bed every 1-2 hours to pee, and when I lay back down the babies wake up and start rolling. So done.
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
We won't be spending $ on actual costumes this year, but we plan to sit in the garage and hand out candy to trick or treaters with the babes. So I'll be dressing them in this.
1. How far along and who's in there?
36+2 - Lily & Eli
2. Milestones and appointments
36 week US & OB tomorrow. We also might be starting NSTs this week, we will see what the Dr says tomorrow.
& countdown is on.. 2 weeks from now they will be here. But I'm kind of hoping they decide to make an early entrance
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Rants- the discomfort from skin stretching is nuts.. & im over the random numbness
Raves- I'm just so happy the babies have decided to cook this long. I've also been able to avoid bed rest and can still hike/be active
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
we haven't decided for sure but I have a silhouette printer and can make iron ins for onesies. so something simple but fun for twins
34+5 (or 35+3) depending on doctor; Jack and Beckham
2. Milestones and appointments
We met our final goal of 34 weeks so MFM said babies can come anytime. MFM took me off Procardia because it isn't working. Babies were 4.9 and 5.2 pounds last Friday.
NST/BPP today and Friday; OB appointment Thursday. I'm getting induced next Thursday or Friday (waitng for nurse to call back and schedule date).
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Rant: Still over being pregnant. My contractions are out of control and Baby A is so, so low that I feel like he's dangling between my legs.
Rave: I AM HAVING BABIES IN 9-10 DAYS.
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
I haven't decided yet. If I do, it will probably coordinate with DD's costume.
Me: 28 DH: 27
@girvin21 I'm so jealous. Hiking?!!! I can't even make it through the grocery store without giving out.
1. How far along and who's in there?
35+2, boy/girl twins (N & J)
2. Milestones and appointments
Tomorrow I have a NST, OB appt, & growth scan. I'm excited and worried. We haven't seen them in a whole month on ultrasound, so I'm curious how N's fluid is. He's had polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid). I'm definitely taking my hospital bag with me just in case.
If all 3 of us are still doing well, I hope to make it to 37.5 weeks at which point I can have an epidural instead of general anesthesia for my C-section.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
My house is still not ready, but it is what it is at this point. My husband doesn't seem to mind, and I just can't physically hold out to finish it. I guess if anyone comes to visit when we get home, they'll encounter lots of closed doors!
I'm still at work. Barely functioning though. I'm good for the first half of the day, and then, it's all downhill from there.
I still need to upgrade my cell phone, find my camera or get a new one, install the carseats, pack my laptop, clean the pack n'play.
I have been washing clothes all the past week, but I still feel like I don't have enough clothes for baby girl J. Maybe I get some more this week. Baby boy N has all of DS's hand me downs, so he's good. Clothes x 3 kids is overwhelming. I had DS1s back to school clothes in the mix to be washed too.
HR still won't get back to me over the paperwork. I need to remind them for the third month in a row. I mean, this week might even be my last at work.
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
I have lots of family ideas, but DS wants to be a Ninja Turtle. I can't remember if there are girl characters in that or not. Any suggestions?
My family theme ideas include:
Medieval: Hubby as king/wizard; Me as Queen/witch; DS1 as knight, DS2 as dragon, DD as princess.
Oz: Hubby as scarecrow, me as wicked witch, DS1 as tin man, DS2 as lion, DD as Dorothy.
Farm: Hubby as farmer, me as gardener, DS1 as cow/horse; DS2 as peas, DD as peas.
Sea: Hubby as surfer, me as fisherwoman, DS1 as shark, DS2 as shark, DD as crab/mermaid.
I've put way too much thought into this, and it will probably wind up being last minute non-matched costumes.
Sorry for the book.
1. How far along and who's in there?
34+1, MoDi Girls, (Jordan Faye & Madison Lee)
2. Milestones and appointments
Passed another NST yesterday and have a BPP & NST tomorrow as well as OB appointment. I am hoping I may be able to actually schedule an induction date. The MFM wants me to go till 38 weeks but all the research I have read on MoDi delivery timing says they should be delivered by 36+6, after that stillbirth risks increases drastically.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I have no raves or positives. I have, however, developed what the doctor's believe is PUPPS, anyone else have this? It's basically a very intense itchy rash (can spread but right now just on the belly) that will only go away after delivery and NOTHING seems to be helping the itchiness. I am so over being pregnant!!
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
My son is 2 and I have 2 nephews (2 and 1) and we were thinking of dressing all the boys up as T-Birds and then my twin girls as Pink Ladies from Grease.
BFP: 8/20/2018 - EDD 5/4/2019
1. How far along and who's in there?
34 + 6, di/di boy girl twins
2. Milestones and appointments
Ultrasound last week - boy is 5.8 lbs and girl is 5.5 lbs so we are very happy that the are nice plump little ones. OB and NST today, everything still looks good, they plan to get me on the c-section schedule when I see them next week and it will be planned for sometime around Sept. 28.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Rave - Been off work since Thursday last week (vacation) and have loved it. We got some stuff done around the house, relaxed, got some sleep, and just spent some good time with DH.
Rant - Baby related - boy is so low and breech, his kicks feel like he's playing soccer with my lady parts. No bueno. I am developing carpel tunnel in my hands - arms go to sleep every night and joints in my hands are sore in the mornings but feel better as the day goes on.
Non-baby related - One of our dogs passed away this morning. He was super old and had several illnesses, but he had been doing so well and was such a happy little guy. DH found him this morning and I have not been able to pull myself together since.
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
I think we will just put them in something semi-basic and cute, like maybe a pumpkin and ghost "My First Halloween" outfits and sit outside to pass out candy. Really havent decided yet.

2. Milestones and appointments
Local MD tomorrow for GBS and first VE. I'm terribly curious to find out what all's going on down there! MFM, growth scan, etc. is next week. And 37 weeks, when we can deliver at our local hospital is getting sooo close!
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Babies have definitely dropped and my rib is so much better. However they have dropped so far that at times it really feels like B is engaged and determined to dilate me from the inside out
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
We don't do Halloween.
No worries @chriscasey33.
Sorry to hear about your dog @GoBucksOH.
I had a growth scan yesterday, Baby boy is 5 lb 8 oz, and Baby girl is 6 lb 4 oz. My OB's office called today, and we've schedule my C-section for 38+2! Baby boy's fluid is still high, but there's nothing we can do or know until he's delivered. Usually I from what I read, it's ok in the majority of cases.
I'm just so glad to have an end date in sight!
Update from my appts- she is 5 lb 4 oz and he is 5 lb 7 oz. Both also did great on the NST. I'm 0 cm dilated & 70% effaced sooo I think they are going to hold on until our c sec on the 19th. At this point I've decided even though I'm uncomfortable I'm thankful for this time for them to develop:).
31 + 2 Abby and Anna (Abigail and Annabelle)
2. Milestones and appointments
I have seen cardio, mfm and ob this week. Everything was going perfectly smooth until today...considerable swelling and elevated BP at my ob's office. He is making me do 24 hour urine and go in to L&D Saturday (when i finish the urine) for monitoring and labs. Kinda bummed.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
My mom and husband have already been hovering and it is only going to get worse now....I know I should just be thankful that I have people that care...but sometimes that caring smothers me and stresses me out more
4. Question of the week: Are you dressing up your twins for Halloween? If so, what costume ideas are you planning?
Probably just a cute onesie..not an actual costume.
