I'm taking DD to a fall festival tomorrow! Sunday, we'll hit the road in the morning to head to NC. My poppy is in the hospital, and once he gets discharged, he'll go straight to a nursing home. I want to go up and see him before it gets much more difficult for me to travel.
Tonight - Bring DH to Target to view some registry items in person and get his take. He pretty much is leaving this up to me, but I still want him to see what is actually available in stores, which sadly is not much.
Saturday - College Football! SIL and her hubby got tickets to the game this week, so we're picking them up around 10:15ish and then heading up to BWW to meet up with DH's aunt/uncle and another couple for some table-gating before we head over to the tailgating parking lots... game is at 2:30. NDSU (College Alum) is playing a team they haven't played since a playoff game in 2010, and lost by a point due to a REALLY bad call at the end of the game. So, it could be interesting. It was their last playoff loss, as they've won the last 5 years of the FCS National Championship since that season. After the game, we'll either go out to eat or head back to SIL's and chill there the rest of the night, and probably order food in. My MIL is watching their 2 boys.
Sunday - Not sure, but probably laundry. I may go through some totes in the closet in the babies room... and debate what can be kept/tossed/combined. Some are décor shelves in white, which could easily be painted into something else. IDK. I am playing Sunday by ear. Oh, football games will be on in the house since the season has started! We'll flip between the Eagles (College Alum QB from last year is starting, 2nd pick in the draft this year), and the Vikings (DH's team).

I am Ex-ci-ted for this weekend!!! First, and most importantly, this morning DH sat for and Passed, the licensing board exam to be a Nurse Practitioner!!! Whoot!!!! So - tonight I will make steak or something similarly festive for dinner Sat - brunch with my girlfriends in the morning, then my sister is keeping DS overnight! First overnight for him since our wedding anniversary last Oct and waaaay overdue. No idea what we'll do but it won't be based on a toddler's schedule Sun - sleep in, breakfast with DH, pick up DS then hanging out, football and more relaxing/celebrating DH Mon - DH's best friend for 15+yrs is coming to town and we're going out to dinner on the Riverwalk
@JessCL You win the prize!!! Best post. Congrats! Please post a photo!!!
We are hosting a fund raiser dinner for our camp... 200 head. I am setting up and doing all the table decor, did all the shopping yesterday and will organize the seating chart and play hostess. And I am having a serious case of pregnancy brain and inability to remember names or small talk... So not looking forward to my job! Its not my favorite thing, but it covers the cost of working with our low income campers. Hoping to get 10k out of it!!!
@JessCL have the best time ever! Congrats to you and PLEASE share a photo or two when you're back to reality. Very happy for you!!
Tomorrow we tour our hospital then go to the BRU event and the Carters event while my brother hangs with DS to buy the rest of our stuff. After this shopping spree WE ARE DONE!!! We'll stock up on diapers after that. BTW - through tomorrow 2 boxes of large diapers (pampers, Huggies) get you a $20 target giftcard.
Sunday is my birthday so we'll hang out and have good food and watch football - I've requested 60 degree weather. We'll see how that goes.
Tomorrow we have to wait at the new, empty house during a four hour window for the washer dryer to be delivered. So I'll probably just clean everything while we wait.
Sunday we start our Bradley classes. I'm excited but also nervous. I'll get really real all the sudden.
@JessCL congratulations lady! I've started besting a bit over the past two weeks and have all about crafting and home projects. Tomorrow I'm going to clean out the baby's closet and the dresser that were refinishing for baby's room. And probably laundry because I put my laundry off last weekend. Sunday I am hoping to do a little weeding in our front beds and then pack and rest. I'm traveling Monday - Thursday next week and recruiting at career fairs so I'm trying to save up some energy for that!
@JessCL CONGRATS!!! I echo everyone in share photos.
Tonight plans canceled so nothing special.
Tomorrow DH has to be at work at 6 which means I have to get up with him to make sure he's up, and then get breakfast (Sizzli Saturday in our house so off to Wawa after dropping him off at work). Then I'll do some work. Later bourbon and pizza. And as I confessed in FFFC, I'm getting me a sip of that bourbon (first batch this distillery has ever made so I'm excited).
Edit to my original Sunday plans of blissfully cross stitching because pregnancy brain. FIL is coming into town and DH is going to help him do some roof work, so we are traveling 45 minutes away to do that. It's going to be miserable, DH working on the roof and me dealing with the house (SIL has hoarding tendencies and the house is gross, I can't stay there longer than 30 minutes without getting uncomfortable)

Nothing exciting over here. Tonight I'm recovering from my lovely three hour GTT with my snoogle and the couch. tomorrow is football and going out for hibachi for my early birthday dinner. Debating whether or not to go see Sully. Sunday we really really need to start cleaning out the baby's room. It's a disaster.
Tonight we're ordering pizza and watching tv. I'm for sure going to be early because tomorrow is our all day childbirth class! I'm excited, we also get a hospital tour etc. Sunday we're planning on watching football all day and eating our fave football foods (cocktail meatballs and sliders).
We have a quiet weekend. Went to a consignment sale for kids stuff at a nearby church. Got some good winter baby gear for cheap. So cheap actually... it's mind blowing to me that anyone buys anything new...
The rest of the weekend is just little things here and there. I'm gonna swim. We're gonna clean. I'm gonna lay on my side. Maybe find some cake or something. Ok cake will happen.
@JessCL YAY!!!! Pics please!! @jennbaylor12 YAY!!! Have a good one! I have to pack most of tomorrow. I need a bag for myself for *hopefully* 2 weeks at my parents, L needs a bag for at least 2 more weeks, then I also have to get my hospital bag ready. Sunday H is taking me/meeting my parents so that I can go stay with them and be closer to the NICU E would/will be in if she doesn't stay put for 2 weeks. HOLY SH!T Its getting really scary that I could have a little girl literally any time. I hope she stays put, but oh man.

Dinner tonight with a gf and DH. I had to take a nap when I got home so I could make it lol.
Tomorrow we have my nephews bday party. We'll probably go for the second half, then hang out with them longer. He's turning 5, and wanted a metal detector (like the wand kind security officers wave over you) which cracks me up for some reason.
Sunday is a lazy day, except we're getting 3 rooms carpets cleaned. Fingers crossed my dog has been smelling something in said rooms and will stop having accidents in the house after.
Whoohoo congrats @JessCL!!!! Hope you have an amazing day tomorrow!
im currently working a midnight shift so after I sleep tomorrow I'm going to dinner with my girlfriends and then bingo after! Sunday a trip to BRU to get some things that are on sale for Baby Fest
@JessCL yay! Congratulations!!! So happy for you we just got married in July, we should start a 'freshly married' thread! Lol
We have a chill weekend, I did my GTT yesterday and passed!! I'm thanking the eggs I ate for breakfast. But I feel like sh*t today, blaming the glucose drink. Our big plans are DDs soccer game on Sunday, which is at the same time as the football game (eek! DH is upset, but I am just uncaring about football this year, I've got baby on my mind). DH was out of town for a few days, so it will be nice to have him back. But his game (destiny) just did an update so he is all over that right now. I'm planning on being lazy and napping tomorrow. Yes. And I want some steak.
Thanks ladies! The wedding was perfect We did the very Canadian tradition of filling a giant canoe with ice and drinks I hope everyone else had a great weekend! Sorry the picture is so huge!
Our fundraiser went well! We got just over $10k and I didn't manage to overdue it too much. However a nap was in order today... And a sleep in and pancake breakfast. Everyone seemed to have fun and enjoy the event and gave openly!
