I can soooo relate @vssbrm, I think it's a training for when the baby comes...the 'get-used-to-sleepless-nights' training. Hope you get the worrying to a low though, that part takes the most I feel.
@vssbrm I can relate as well. It's becoming harder to sleep well and all I keep thinking that I'm not even that pregnant yet. Sometimes it even worries me when I wake up only once to go to the bathroom at night, like I'm so used to it being multiple times. My whole body aches in the morning because sleeping in one position is just so darn difficult. Tossing and turning just makes me restless. It's no fun! I can just imagine that adding worrying on top of it would make anyone lie awake and stare at the ceiling. Do you have any upcoming appointments or check-ups where your doctor can put your mind at ease? You need your rest so hopefully you can sleep peacefully soon.

@Tulips29 I have an apt of Friday. I somehow had one scheduled for tmrw too. I wish I would have kept that one instead of Friday's. I'm really hoping she will have us do another ultrasound. All my spotting is old blood, but it still worries me. It's been 2.5 weeks since I was In the hospital, the doc had not been concerned by it when we spoke on Thursday or Friday, but my brain won't turn off!

@vssbrm I'm sorry you're having such a bad day. I too wake up multiple times a night, and I don't think I go more than 2 hours of sleep at a time, but I do get more than 3-4 total. I know it's hard, but you have to remind yourself that if you aren't bleeding bright red, everything is most likely okay and there is nothing to worry about. Almost every single woman I've ever talked to has had some spotting during the first tri. It's totally normal.

@vssbrm With my doc's okay, I take Benadryl at night which helps me get at least a little bit more sleep. I still wake up a couple times a night to roll over and/or go to the bathroom, but when I take Benadryl I have an easier time falling back to sleep. I hope that you can get some good rest. Can you nap at all during the day?
AFM - A few weeks ago, I remember a few people talking about feeling their heartbeat really hard when you lay down. Did we just decide that was the increased blood flow? I've started noticing when I lay down to go to bed I feel it thumping ridiculously hard like I've been running, but it's not fast.
Oh the heartburn!!!

@vssbrm hopefully your doctor can put your worries to rest on Friday. I know how hard it is not to worry about the spotting. I was freaking out myself even though it wasn't bright red and the scan showed no issues. Try to tell yourself that everything is fine and will be fine.
@dragonfaerie I have heart palpitations from time to time, but they happen randomly and not just when I'm laying down. But I've had them for as long as I can remember, just never this frequently. You just reminded me to ask my doctor next time about this. Hopefully it's just extra blood flow.

@Griffin5413 Yeesh, yes. I am prone to heartburn anyway (thanks genetics...) so I guess I should be grateful that I'm not breathing fire all the time, but now when I get heartburn it's way worse than usual. This morning it felt like I had a knot in my chest, like if you swallow too big a bite of food. Fortunately the peppermint Tums worked fast!

Oh the heartburn...I don't even have to eat to get them..I just sit at work minding my own business and bam! heartburn. My midwife scared me a bit with saying I needed to be careful with taking something for it and should try all natural...well I am not looking for natural yoghurt in the middle of the night, I chew a rennie (tums) that I have stocked in my bed. Gladly my second midwife (that does my watergymnastics) said not to worry to take sth for it. She also said almonds might work...I've tried, but it's not magic.
@AandDM2014 I'm almost at 22 weeks, almost 20 when I was in the hospital. If I were still in 1st tri I might feel a little better about it. But it's scary at any point I would think!!!
@dragonfaerie and @Tulips29 I get the heart palpitations too, always have had them but they have been much more frequent. I guess I should add that to my list for the doc on Friday.
Thank goodness i have have not really experienced much heartburn. I am pretty tough with most sicknesses etc, but I fail at dealing w heartburn!!

@AandDM2014 Today was a bad eat day. I had biscuits and gravy for breakfast and Mac and cheese for dinner. I did manage to squeeze in a bunch of raw veggies, fruit and beans for lunch, so I guess that's a win. But literally, I opened my fridge and was repulsed by everything in there. I hope tomorrow is a better day. The past two days I have had constant nausea at the back of my throat.

@NurseTMD85 Congrats on your little one!!

@dragonfaerie I have heart palpitations from time to time, but they happen randomly and not just when I'm laying down. But I've had them for as long as I can remember, just never this frequently. You just reminded me to ask my doctor next time about this. Hopefully it's just extra blood flow.

@Tulips29I'm sorry you've had to deal with them for longer than this. I'm not overly concerned, I just remembered others talking about it.
