Hello ladies,

I'm sad that I've joined this club but glad that there seems to be a supportive community here. I have a 2yo son born in May 2014. We were excited to welcome #2 due in March 2017. At just after 12 weeks we went for our IPS ultrasound and learned that the baby wasn't measuring where it should and there was no heartbeat. The week after, we learned that it had stopped growing around 8.5 weeks. I finally had a D&C this week and finally feel a little bit of closure.

I'm going to see how we feel after my first cycle happens, but they told us at the hospital that there's no need to wait longer than that to TTC if we're ready. Now that I've had the procedure, I feel like I want to go for it again.

It's been very hard since we had zero warning that it was happening. I had no bleeding or cramping and still had some nausea and back pain which felt normal. I also wasn't eating well so that may have contributed to me thinking baby was growing. I know it wasn't my fault, but I'm putting my energy into getting healthy again for next time and hoping for a successful third pregnancy.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I think focusing your energy on getting healthy is a great plan! I hope you find the comfort and support you're looking for here, and that your stay with us is short
