Ergo question

Woohooooo my Ergo arrived in the mail today! I have the insert and have already washed it. I looked for washing directions for the actual Ergo and all I can find is "use mild detergent". Do you guys spot clean yours or do you throw it in on gentle/delicate cycle?

I washed mine on gentle and hung it up to dry.

You're not *supposed* to wash them. But, reality. Wash on delicate with cold water. You could even put it in a delicates bag. Lay or hang to dry.

Wash it as little as possible so that it mantained it's structure longer.

I put it in a pillow case, wash on gentle and hang dry.

Did you guys wash them out of packaging or did you wait for them to get dirty?

I have a Beco, but I just washed it on the delicate cycle out of package and hung it to dry, looks great! And no longer smells like it just came out of a box.

I didn't wash my Ergo out of the package. In fact, it stayed fairly clean through use with DD so the first time I actually washed it was after I got it out of storage in prep for this LO!
