Nope, nothing...I need to go through my old newborn clothes and start washing and having them ready for baby.

GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night?
When we are lucky enough to have some time to ourselves sans all 4 boys, we like to do dinner and a movie...I know, kinda boring lol. Sometimes we will go to our favorite fancy restaurant and to the book store next door.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Yes! We (finally, after lots of nagging on my part) got her closet all set up. The previous owners of our house were not handy, to say the least, so there was some drywall patching that needed to be done before we could install the shelves and doors. I got all her clothing in there last night and plan to go buy a couple bins this weekend.

I am feeling a lot more movement which I love. Nesting urges are starting which can be frustrating because I need my husband's help with a lot of the heavy lifting stuff and he is definitely not feeling any nesting urges, haha. My boobs are enormous and I need to go buy some new bras.
When's your next appointment?
This Friday, standard 4 week appointment. I also have an appointment next month to consult with general surgery in the event that I need a c-section and my scars and whatnot complicate things.

How far along are you? What's new with your little babe? i am 23 weeks today. Baby boy is soooo active! He is very stubborn for daddy though. Baby will be doing jumping jacks and i quick try to get my husband to feel and he stops immediately. He has yet to feel our little guy move and I've been feeling it since about 16-17 weeks (posterior placenta got me feeling it early). It's become a joke now almost. If baby is kicking so much i can't sleep i just put hubby's hand on my belly and it stops. We've started to come up with a few names we like.
Baby makes me HATE eggs. The thought of eggs makes me want to vomit. Never had issues with nausea as long as i stay away from eggs.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? we have our car seat and stroller. We got a recaro denali. We love it so far...seems pretty easy. Our amazon shower registry is almost complete and we are doing our babies r us registry today. We WERE going to buy a crib but my car decided to develop issues and that cost us a pretty penny. Also the dog decided to eat a bunch of raisins from some raisin bread i made and spent two days in the animal intensive care unit (apparently those are toxic to dogs). So that was very pricey...he is doing ok now. Going in for some lab work but everything has been good so far. All that put the crib on hold for a while. Ugh.
Rants / Raves / Concerns / Questions: ok so im 23 weeks and still hardly showing. I can see it and my husband can but it's ridiculous. I haven't gained any weight (well .5 pounds). I'm short and petite so where is this child hiding? I'm eating just fine. He is normal size. My doctor doesn't seem too worried as long as I'm eating and getting adequate nutrition. My cousin who is 1.5months behind me with her first looks more pregnant than i do. I guess i shouldn't complain but still it bothers you when your this far along and people are still like "whhhat? Your pregnant?" ... Yea not too far away from third trimester. Doctor keepa reasuring me everything is going ok and not tp focus on numbers as long as I'm eating baby is getting the nutrition he needs.
When's your next appointment? 9 days! Next Friday. Not much happens at this one.
GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night? something active! We are out dorsey and love taking the dogs out for a hike, canoeing (we have a river front property) my energy isn't what it used to be so our activities are getting shorter and i get winded much easier. But my husband is the greatest and does what i can do. We also love cooking dinner together. Great day if we can do all of that.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Not really this week. Still trying to organize the WHOLE house, and that will include the nursery when we finally get that far. I feel like once we get more "stuff" we will be more motivated to work on it.

I'm still feeling pretty good overall! My worse thing is the acid at bedtime. I'm taking Zantac and eating Tums and sometimes it still doesn't work. It's annoying not being able to lay flat on the bed.

GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night?
We love going to movies or good restaurants. We used to go to bars too, but that ship has sailed for now!
23 weeks! Baby has reached the 1 pound mark and is starting the gaining weight part of gestation.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Actually got some things from some friends and bought some new little outfits. Nothing huge yet just little things.

GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night?
We do lots of different things. Sometimes we go to fazolis or burger king and sometimes we go see a movie. It really depends on both our moods. I love that we change things up so much.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? Some nesting urges inspired me to clean out the house this weekend. And finally talked to my mom about picking a shower date. November 6th!
Rants / Raves / Concerns / Questions: I just. Want. Grilled cheese. All the time. The heartburn and rib pain are definitely amping up too. Had a really horrible revenge of the morning sickness episode this weekend which really bummed me out. Every time I think I'm past it, it shows up again.

GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night? We are typically more date day people. We are early to bed since DH has to be up at 5! Before my coffee aversion, we loved to go out for coffee and browse used book stores. We also love going to Farmer's markets and craft fairs!
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? I ordered the furniture and rug this week! But we need to finish painting before we can get it all together.
Rants / Raves / Concerns / Questions: I have a lot of anxiety over my plan for a VBAC. I wish I knew for sure I'll get to go for it or else get my mindset changed for a scheduled C-section.
When's your next appointment? Next week for a routine checkup.
GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night? When not pregnant we'd go have cocktails on a nice patio somewhere, or go to the full-service movie theater and have cocktails....basically anything with cocktails!

Nothing yet, we're remodeling our home and my husband is in super nesting mode with making sure EVERY detail is perfect. We're redoing floors as well, and haven't yet started on baby's room but that's next. We just set the date for our baby shower as well, October 22nd - hopefully the weather is nice, cause I wanted a casual outdoors event, so just finishing up those details.

I'm halfway through this pregnancy, and so far have been so lucky to have had an easy one considering how awful it could be. My dr asks me every time if I'm exercising regularly and I'm definitely not. She wants me to work out 30 minutes a day, keeping my heart rate below 160, to help prepare for labor. I start grad school & practicum next week and I have been so lazy this summer, I definitely feel like guilty for not listening to her sooner - what do you guys do to try and squeeze in some exercise in our busy schedules?

GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night?
My husband and I are pretty low key, I'm a total homebody and for the most part he is too. This is our first baby so right now, every night is like date night since it's just the two of us, we cook dinner together and watch our favorite shows before getting ready for bed, but on the weekend we usually go out to dinner and to a show.
20 weeks. Little one is growing, and I'm starting to feel kicks on my sides. Anterior placenta, so not much in the front yet.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
I got out all the tubs of my son's clothes from the garage this weekend. I sorted by size and started washing the smaller things. I also realized I've given away almost all of my smallest clothes, so I'll have to get a few newborn and 0/3 month for the beginning.

Still don't feel great. I'm excited to be over half-way there. My feet have started swelling slightly by the end of the day which stinks.

I had s regular checkup yesterday, and everything looked fine. I go back Oct. 4 I think.
GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night?
We usually go out to eat or to a movie. We have s theater here that does dinner and a movie which is fun sometimes.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? moved a dresser into the nursery and DH's from the office (will be nursery) into our closet. Had to do some serious purging to fit his clothes in there. We are moving very slowly and have a lot of organizing to do to get the nursery in shape.
Rants / Raves / Concerns / Questions: it's been a hard week with losing my very close grandma last Friday. I just feel so exhausted and emotional. I have really bad public symphysis pain and am waddling everywhere. I feel like I'm being ripped in two b
When's your next appointment? I have a chiropractor appt next Tuesday. Midwife appt is on the 21st.
GTKY: What do you and your SO like to do on date night? we don't often get to go out but it usually involves dinner, and walking around downtown. Nothing too exciting these days!
How far along are you? What's new with your little babe? 20weeks - She has been kicking EVERYDAY this week. She kicked up a storm on Tuesday - Im so excited to finally feel her move everydayyyy.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? Um nothing. I really gotta get moving on calling childcare around here or IDK what's going to happen.
Rants / Raves / Concerns / Questions: We didn't get all the views during our anatomy scan last week so I will get to see her again soon. The tech was pretty confident the baby is a girl, but said not to paint the nursery yet... I'm going with girl. I bought her a few outfits last weekend and but kept the receipts juuuust in case.
