19 weeks! Mango!

A/S next Wednesday.

I'm feeling lots of movement. Other than that, nothing really noteworthy happening.

I can't believe I have one week left til my scan!

When DH leaves dirty dishes with stuck on food in the sink. Ughhhh.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks! The size of an avocado.

When is your next appointment? A week from Friday. The first ten weeks the doctor saw me every other week practically because of a previous loss, so going 4 weeks between appointments is killer.

Symptom changes? Nausea is gone, but the headaches are still here. Also my boob tenderness is better, but now I have back pain.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I think I felt the baby move! I can't be 100% sure cause I've never been this far along before, but it's definitely like everyone describes.

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? I hate when people talk with incorrect gramma. I have a coworker who says aks instead of ask and says instead of said and it's like nails on a chalkboard.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks / Avocado

When is your next appointment? Not until 18 weeks

Symptom changes? I forgot this one on the symptoms thread but sciatica is new for me. Nausea is starting to get better and only shows itself when I get too hungry or at bed time, all sorts of weird aches and pains like RLP. I've been getting what almost feels like a cramp that I used to get when running but I haven't ran so I'm not sure what's causing that.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm dying to feel some movement but nothing yet. It has me nervous but I know 16 weeks can still be early. It's hard because I see so many people saying they already felt movement at like 14 weeks and my mom was telling me that she felt it at 12 weeks and that clearly I should be feeling it and must be mistaking it for something else.

Also it's hard not hearing the heart beat for 4 weeks at a time but I know if I bought a doppler I'd abuse it and just sit listening to it every night...

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? People who leave time on the microwaves at work. Like seriously it takes a second to push clear and I shouldn't have to do it for you. Also with my TW from yesterday I hate when people don't double check which name to use when sending an email. Yes my last name could be a first name but it's not my first name so take the 2 seconds it takes to check and see what name I signed the email to you with and use that one!

I've been trying to up my water intake and bought a 33oz bottle for my desk. But even with the bathroom like right around the corned, this getting up to pee every 5 minutes is super annoying.

TOTALLY mangling a foreign word: "wallah" for voilà....*sigh*

@marriedhamstermom , with DD I had two months of pretty bad cramping in my calf about once or twice a week. This happened towards the end of my pregnancy, so I don't know how comparable it is to what you're feeling. The Dr gave me magnesium and that made it go away.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks! Avocado, pickle, or iPhone.

When is your next appointment? Next Friday at 17+2. Checkup, bloodwork, and hopefully hearing the heartbeat!!

Symptom changes? RLP, sciatica is in and out, and holy crap I'm honnnnnngray.

Rant/Rave/Questions? A/S is 1 month from today!!!!! I feel like mine is so late.

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? I am a peevy human. I have so many peeves. Today, my pet peeve is kids who walk into the classroom with their headphones on. Child, put that ish away.

2nd blood draw for the NT screening on 9/9, OB appointment on 9/16 and the A/S on 9/27

Symptom changes?

Started some bleeding/spotting this week. But otherwise, just the usual heartburn, insomnia, and round ligament pain

After about a month of some very extensive research on TB and Lucie's List, I have finished my registry. I made one for a girl and one for a boy. Because I'm a freak.

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves?
Just one?

Probably the biggest one is loud chewing/open mouth chewing/gum smacking. Can't. Stand. It.

@grapeskittles4lyfe thanks for that info, my cramps haven't been bad enough to call a doctor and since their like in my side and higher than my uterus is I haven't been worried that the baby is in danger but I'll bring it up at my next appointment.

@NiceyMeany my A/S is late too! October 4th for me.It's hard seeing everyone getting their results and knowing I won't have mine for another month! At the same time I found out I was pregnant almost 3 months ago and it doesn't feel like it's been that long so hoping this month goes by quickly too!

How far along are you? How big is baby? 20 weeks today! Size of a banana (6.5 inches/10ounces)

When is your next appointment? Our A/S had to be rescheduled due to some drama, so that's on the 16th, and then our next midwife appointment is on the 22nd.

Symptom changes? Not much. A little RLP, a little burst of nausea if I forget to eat. Same old, same old.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I can't believe this bun is half baked!

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? People using loud appliances in the morning, like this morning when my DH decided to use the mixer to make scrambled eggs.

I just realized I am half way through the pregnancy, wow that is crazy to think about.

Hypocrites, this is my number one pet peeve. It comes into play with a lot of things, like someone telling me to clean when their side is messy. Or some of my DH's religious side start preaching to me and then I ask simple questions like when is the last time you volunteered and actually helped someone and they are silent.... and they want to preach to me how I am not a good person.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 17 weeks, pomegranate!

When is your next appointment? Friday morning - just a check up with my OB.

Symptom changes? My symptoms have really subsided lately. I still get headaches but a couple sips of coffee get rid of those, and if I don't drink enough water I have digestion issues, but other than that, everything is fairly minimal.

Rant/Rave/Questions? It was my birthday yesterday and I had a really awesome day relaxing. I took vacation from work, hung out with my dogs watching movies and reading books, and had a lovely dinner with my husband (including a few sips of my favorite wine). The day really couldn't have been better/more relaxing.

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? People talking with food in their mouths.

@NiceyMeany, I'm not a Wednesday ticker change person but read through pretty much all the posts on this board. When I read your symptom change thing I just died laughing because I thought it said "holy crap I'm horny." I'm still laughing about it as I type this.

@srscott3, I hope everything is okay with the bleeding so you don't have to feel too stressed and worried about it. I've been thinking of you since you posted about that. If it's any consolation whatsoever, I've known a few people who this happened to when they were pregnant and everything was perfectly fine.

So much this! My family is super religious and my mother likes to tell me what an awful person I am for not being a christian when some of the most judgmental/hateful things I've ever heard in my life have come out of her mouth. Plus she likes to use the parts of the bible that agree with her arguments at the time and ignores those that don't agree.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 19 weeks today! She's the size of a pair of sunglasses.

When is your next appointment? Had my anatomy scan at MFM, an OB visit and a cardiology appointment yesterday. Scan went awesome, OB visit was brief, and cardiologist is basically not concerned about my extremely mild condition being a factor in the pregnancy at all, but will do an echo at 28 weeks to placate the MFM doctor.

Symptom changes? Less face-plant tired, much hungrier, consistent RLP, less hip pain at night.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I have a callback tonight for what could be my last musical for quite some time! I was only interested in the pregnant character, and am called back for it, but also ended up getting called back for the lead as well! I'll be 6.5 months by the time the show opens (limited run), so if I get the lead they will have to get creative with hiding the bump.

GTKY: what is one of your pet peeves? My rage over cell phone zombies is nothing new, but my new thing is people who can't even bother to look the hell up while entering/exiting a subway. A woman yelled at me the other day for "cutting" in front of her during rush hour. I calmly pointed at her phone and said "you were texting, I was moving." That shut her down pretty fast.

19 weeks / mango

Seeing a rheumatologist tomorrow to talk about a post partum game plan (snooze). I'm super excited for my anatomy scan next Tuesday!!!

Not really. Haven't felt much movement yet so that kinda bums me out but it's still pretty early yet.

@skiingstark @marriedhamstermom I'm with you guys on the hypocritical religious family members. It's very frustrating but I mostly just smile and nod until they stop talking. I don't agree with their views. That doesn't make me a terrible person. One family member tried to
tell me to have my son
baptized. That was a super awkward day.

17 - chipmunk/PlayStation controller

A/S is in 3 weeks

headaches are still a problem, but otherwise I'm pretty much symptomless. Feeling movement from time to time, though!

rant: still having nerve pain from the damn tech hitting it with a needle. Bloodwork came back normal, though.

pet peeve: grown adults who don't know the difference between your/you're, there/their/they're, or when to use apostrophes.

FINALLY!!!

I've been banned for over a week! Did nothing wrong and had no warnings. This was pre all the drama from last week. UGH I've been ANNOYED!!!!

17w - Pomegranate

Had my 16w anatomy scan on Tuesday. It was awesome and everything seems to be going well. Baby boy is swimming around happily, although I feel like he looked a little crowded in there. LOL

Headaches seemed to have calmed a bit, and as long as I catch them super early I can prevent them from becoming debilitating.

Rave: @Patience7150 our thinness continues. My birthday was yesterday the 7th! I had my bday dinner Tuesday night. It was so awesome. Also headed to Toronto tomorrow for the Toronto Film Fest, super excited about that.

Pet Peeve: Being banned for NO REASON!!!!!!
