Not so much a rant but I am just feeling generally uncomfortable. I've taken to spending a lot more time in my cave surrounded by pillows and yarn. Although I did venture out yesterday and got 9 skeins on yarn for $15, I was pretty excited about that. My yarn hoarding is nearly as bad as my body spray.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
All I want is apple cider and pumpkin pie. I finished my Trader Joes cider last week and haven't been able to find a substitute. Might venture to Fresh Thyme today..

I am generally not a fan of Septembers. For me there always seems to be some terrible event or unwelcome transition. This year is no exception. I won't get into much detail due to the sensitive nature of the current events but currently I have a coworker being charged with serious allegations and my director stepped down from his position last week. It's been a very emotional time for me this past week and I am trying not to be stressed but it's hard not to be with so many unanswered questions.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am pissed at my Dr.'s office, apparently there is still a bill from DD that I didn't know about and now they are sayingthat if I don't pay at least half they will drop me from their practice. This is after we had to put a lot of $$$ into my car and DH's car last week. It just never seems to end.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I can't sremember to get enough Take 5 bars. I love them!!!

Rants/Raves/Questions?: DH is just so awesome. We have a lot of fun together. Also, it's really, really, really hard to find food that doesn't have salt. It's easier when we eat at home, but when we go out it's like pfffftttt.

I've been working on a collection of poetry to publish, and I took a break because pregnancy makes everything harder. But I think I'm going to start it up again--got some new material to add. Hopefully I can get the final version done by next March at the latest. I've gotten individual pieces published, but it will be nice to have a whole collection done!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I actually have been feeling pretty good lately. I was tired most nights after work last week, but I worked a different schedule with a new job so I am sure it was my body trying to figure out what was going on. I'd still get up at my normal time that I have been for years, but didn't go into work until 2.5 hours later, and then got home 2.5-3 hours after I normally would. I am hoping once I am more into this new role, I can get to a consistent schedule (like 8-5, or even better something like 7:30-4:30... I used to work 7-3:30).
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Food, in general. Nothing still really stands out. Some things taste better than others after I eat them. I am trying to buy more whole foods for snacks instead of the easy route of processed stuff. Poptarts are still a fave before bed.
GTKY: Dealers Choice: Post anything you want! I can't believe it's already September! I felt like the 1st trimester went SO slow, and since June... just quick as can be. This weekend is the last one where we had nothing really going on either day, so lots of busy weekends coming up (mainly Saturdays). I am hoping to get the nursery started and somewhat completed by end of October, before DH goes hunting in November at least. Even if it's just getting the crib and dressers put together, and some ideas for wall decor.

Upcoming appointments?: I have an appointment with my regular doc tomorrow to check on my depression. Next Ob appointment is at the end of the month, when I'll do the 1 hr glucose tolerance test. I also have a u/s at the end of the month to check LO's growth.
Rants/Raves/Questions?: yesterday I got a prenatal massage. It was weird because I asked the therapist for deep pressure and she said, "I can't do deep because you're pregnant." She them proceeded to give me one of the deepest massages I've ever had. I'll take it. She's my new fave person.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?: I am having tons of sneezing amd stuffy nose. I hope it's just pregnancy rhinitis and not a cold. Also heartburn ....otherwise I feel pretty good.

Kind of a rant: I've been feeling really down in the dumps lately. Trying to tell myself it'll pass. It's not all day every day, but in general I am feeling kinda bummed out. I think a lot of things are adding up and I'm starting to feel less in control of my life. Welcome to motherhood, I guess?
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Symptoms: It's getting harder and harder to move around normally. Getting out of bed has been fun because I'm short and the bed is tall. Last night I had my first middle of the night pee party... normally I just wake up and flip over 10x a night, but last night I actually had to get up. It was a good run to make it to 27 weeks, I guess!
Cravings: I guess I eat more sweets now? I don't really find myself craving anything in particular, but if someone mentions cake or cookies, I am more eager to eat it than I was before I was pregnant

I'm going to the beach (OC MD) either later tonight or tomorrow with my sister and parents. DH is staying home because he has to work. I feel somewhat bad abandoning him but he's probably going to be relieved to have the house to himself. He's downstairs playing XBOX now to get himself in bachelor mode, I think

Rants/Raves/Questions? I just saw a posting on FB that Rogue one will be in theaters in 100 days. My due date is in 98 days. We shall see. My luck is that I would go past my due date then go into labor at the movie theater.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? My sciatic nerve was messed up yesterday. Sleeping has been a nightmare. I have to switch sides like every hour.

I took a gamble and applied for an awesome job a week ago, not thinking much would come of it. Well, I got a call and had a phone interview Friday and they've asked me to come in for an in-person one Wednesday!! I went ahead and told them on the phone I am pregnant, no way to hide it at this point... I'm excited and nervous... do people actually hire 6mth pregnant women?? Lol. Fingers crossed!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I've been eating anything and everything. It's like I can't get enough (and of course- it's not green, leafy vegetables). Bump also seems to be bigger. I think I had a BH today because I felt weird for a minute and my stomach was so hard.

I work around 10 hours a day so pup has a doggie door during daylight to do his business. Once in a blue moon I've seen a coyote on the hill and it freaks me out every time. It's always in early evening or nighttime but I wish they would go away

Upcoming appointments? Thursday I have my 2nd glucose test and blood draws to test every single item that could indicate pre-eclampsia (even though I have no symptoms)
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm really trying to let it go but I have to say I am still really annoyed that my doctor continues to induce anxiety in me at every appointment. I am doing and feeling just fine until the week of appointments and then I become a mess.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? To be honest so far this has all been a lot easier than I thought it would be. I am starting to notice some digestive issues - getting fuller easier, tummy making lots of crazy noises after I eat, some very minor reflux. I also find that sitting at work has become uncomfortable. I feel like everything is pushing up under my ribs. I'm also a little sad that I haven't had any nesting kicking in making me want to get things done! I have been feeling a little lazy lately.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just generally uncomfortable. Like, no matter what. I just can't find a way to sit/lay/stand that I'm comfortable. Also there's so much I want to do, but I just can't find the energy to do it. I want to deep clean my house, finish the nursery, start some sort of crochet/sewing project...anything but just binge watch tv...but can't really find the motivation or energy.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Still with the ice cream...but I usually resist, or only eat a couple bites out of the carton lol.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I ended up in OB triage on Saturday because the on call Doctor was concerned about my constant "menstrual cramping" feeling that I had going on. I was hooked up on monitors for a few hours. Although they saw mild contractions, it is not changing my cervix any. I was instructed to drink more water & rest. All has been well ever since.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? hmm... Symptoms? Idk, when I squat really low it feels like this baby is going to fall out lol I've also been having crazy, vivid dreams recently.
