as I am trying I am realizing that we are eating a lot of chicken this week!
I am jealous of all of you that meal plan right now - I'm still fighting to figure out what sounds good day to day and it's exhausting!
@chelle087, normally we mainly eat chicken as our meat in meals too but holy moly this week, just the idea of eating it turns my stomach. Really stinks cause chicken is do versatile and easy. I actually told my DH last night that I was craving a steak which is odd for me. He told me to grab some at the store when I went and he would grill one for me today (Monday). He did and it was SO SO good.
@mylittleirvz I try to plan out food for the week before I go grocery shopping. Sometimes we stick to it, sometimes we don't. Yesterday I decided I wanted soup instead of chicken nuggets, so that's what we had. As long as no food is wasted I'm happy.
Ehhhh fall is in the air here so I'm excited to start making some comfort food later in the week!
Tuesday: Turkey tacos w leftover salad Wednesday: Beef and mushroom stroganoff Thursday: Chili and honey cornbread Friday: 3 cheese bowtie pasta with ham and corn Saturday: we are having a football party so the husband is getting some trays of pulled pork and chicken from one of our favorite places - I'll probably make a bunch of dips to go with it. If anyone has a favorite app they'd like to recommend I'm all ears!
