I have my 30 week appointment on Thursday where I'm going to inquire as to why they said i needed Rhogam 2 weeks ago and never gave it to me. Otherwise I'll be dreading the scale and looking forward to the doppler.

I also have my 30 week appointment this week. Not expecting anything special... Pee in a cup, hop on the scale, Doppler and go. Maybe I'm jaded but I don't even look forward to the Doppler anymore now that I can feel him dancing highland jiggs everyday. I guess I can tell he's fine so heartbeats are less exciting lol

I've got a follow up with the oncologist tomorrow to check up on my cervix. I'm not at all looking forward to that one. Colposcopy biopsies hurt like a bitch when not pregnant. Way worse written everything is extra sensitive down there. Next OB appointment isn't till next week.

We had an appointment Friday where I measured small for the second time in a row, so we will have a growth ultrasound tomorrow (Tuesday). Excited that we get to see baby again, trying not to feel too nervous about being small.

I have an appt wednesday (30w) with the MFM to check my cervical length. If all goes well, I'll only have two more appointments with him! One more check at 33 weeks and then the cerclage removal at 36. I can't believe it's coming up so fast.

One thing I forgot to ask at my last OB appointment - what about vaccines (esp tdap)? Do most people get them at their OB's offices? Anyone know when we need them by?

I have my 28 week appt tomorrow and we are getting the 3d ultrasound! I can't tell you how excited i am to see her sweet little face. I know a lot will change how I feel about this pregnancy when I get to see her.

Otherwise normal stuff. Already did the gtt last week.

@desoky01 try not to worry! I was measuring small too (by a lot) and when I had my ultrasound baby was actually measuring ahead! Good luck!

I have my 32 week apt Thursday. The usual stuff. Will be interested to see if baby is still breech. He's waiting until week 36 before booking a section.
Also see how much weight I'm up. He's been watching making sure I'm increasing enough. I feel like it's a lot and I feel double the size these days!

@CecilTheBear I got mine at my last appointment at 30 weeks. I think she said she likes to do them between 28 and 34. I see a family medicine provider rather than an OB, but I'm not sure that matters?

@kristah2 thanks, baby was measuring average at the 20 week ultrasound so trying not to worry. At least I don't have to wait too long for the ultrasound!

My OB has a sign in each exam room that TDap should be done between 28 and 36 weeks. I would ask your doc if he/she will do it in office but if not, my doctor just sent me to a Walgreens clinic. It was easy and faster than trying to get into my GP's office.

@cecilthebear Tdap for me is done via general practitioner between 28 and 36 weeks or in the hospital post-labor. That's, of course, if you choose to get it.

I hit 28 weeks yesterday, and will go in on Thursday. I get to drink the "flat sprite" for my glucose test.

Yea mine did Tdap at my 28 week appointment. Offered flu shot too but I get one free at work so I declined

I was given tdap by my obgyn at 27 weeks. When I went in for the appt, I knew I was doing the gtt and getting a rhogam shot, but wasnt told to expect the tdap shot.

It was labour day weekend in Canada too!

Uneventful appointment today. Highlight as always is hearing his/her strong heartbeat.

Now I have to go in every other week since I'm at 30 weeks. Lots more upcoming appointments.

Happy to say that the growth ultrasound today was great, baby is measuring right on track and amount of amniotic fluid was great too. So I'm just measuring small, baby is just fine. So relieved!

Update on my appointment today...

Doc asked how baby was moving and I told him that he's been a little sluggish today, not really moving a lot. He asked for how long and after telling him since Sunday they immediately hooked me up to the fetal monitor. His heartbeat is perfect but they want me back tomorrow for an ultrasound and another round of monitoring. I'm trying really hard not to stress but I'm kind of worried. He's definitely moving but not when he usually does and not as much as usual. I just hope I'm blowing this out of proportion and everything is fine.

@mrsmaryk2016 I hope everything turns out to be A-OK. Sometimes I think there's less movement or it's different than usual and get a little freaked; so you're not alone in worrying. Always best to say something. Look at it this way, you get to see your little guy tomorrow! Good luck!

@MrsMaryK2016 I had this same issue yesterday and the day before. Baby was not going to move for anything. I was shaking and poking, eating so many sweets, drinking orange juice, laying on my side. Nothing. I freaked a little. I was about to call the dr, decided to eat dinner with the family incase I ended up dragging us all to the hospital for the night. Baby decided she liked bratwurst and saurkraut more than sweets And she has had powerful kicks ever since. Hopefully your baby is just having a sluggish day like mine was.

I have my 28 week appt on Friday. I have my gd test also. Hoping that goes smoothly so I don't have to go back for a 3 hr. Otherwise I'm sure it will be the same as any other appt. Pee in a cup, weight and blood pressure, Doppler and talking to the ob. Only one more 4 week appt then I'm at every 2 weeks! Can't believe how quickly November is coming.

Have a growth US Friday. Will be 29 weeks then. Waiting to hear back from my OBGYN as to when to schedule my 3 hour glucose test. I already know I failed the one hour but I'm waiting for them to call me so I can enjoy oreos until then.

that makes me laugh (not failing but the Oreos part). After my 1 hour we went out for ice cream because I figured I needed one last hurrah just in case

Doctor called today and said while everything else on our growth scan looked great, baby's head is measuring 4 weeks ahead of gestation. So they want to send us to a perinatologist just to make sure all is ok. So, back to freaking out and trying not to Google everything. I just want to hold my baby and know they are ok. Holding back tears today all day!

Had my 28 week appt on Tuesday. Got my GD results and passed with flying colors. HR was 125 and everything looked good.
I had heard rumblings that my OB was leaving his practice and he confirmed this at my appointment. Unfortunately he's likely leaving in November, so I will be switching to the other OB in the practice at my next appt in 2 weeks. I'm bummed because I love my OB and he delivered my son via a difficult labor/delivery and quite frankly saved me from a CS.
I start appts every 2 weeks now...crazy!

Just had my 28 week appointment, waiting to do my blood draw for the GD test. Fun times. I'm not feeling sick yet though, so that's good so far. My dr doesn't provide DTap shot though, she told me to go to the pharmacy and get it.

We had this and she has turned out happy, healthy, and way to smart for her own good. They also saw on scans that her brain was growing faster than her head at one time and yet still she's great at 2 years old now. Stay positive!

Update on my update...

Went to the doctor again yesterday for another round of monitoring and an ultrasound. Heartbeat was great again and the ultrasound looked good. I guess little guy is just feeling tired like his mamma. I have a feeling all this tossing and turning at night is throwing his schedule off too. He's kicking right now and has been stretching his feet out under my rib cage all day (which is super comfortable) so he seems to be fine. He isn't moving on his normal schedule still but I guess he's setting a new schedule and I'll have to adjust to whatever this new normal is for him. Thanks for the support ladies!

Glad you got good news and good to know about setting a different schedule. I actually got a little nervous today because I didn't feel him much last night or this morning and I started to get a little nervous. Tried OJ this morning but didn't do anything until about 10am and he's been wiggling right under my ribs these last 5 hours. Sort of annoying but at the same time very happy to have it.

I had a grown scan at MFM today. yay for more pictures, 3ds, and videos!! - baby weighs ~3.5lbs (67%)!! We were told we were graduating and no more ultrasounds there unless OB ordered anymore. I believe she will want another growth scan closer to DD, but it will probably be done in her office and not MFM.

I had my appointment yesterday. Little bugger is still breech. He has 2 more weeks to go before my OB schedules a section.
He also wants to send me for another ultrasound. Even though I've finally been gaining weight well he still wants to make sure baby is moving along properly since the surgery.

@kvruns I'm due November 1 so he would be setting at 34+3. Though he did say right before every section he would do another ultrasound (morning of) and if the babe has flipped then he would call it off so he still has a bit of time!

Had a growth US today. Baby boy is measuring on track at 3lbs 4oz and is finally head down. One less thing to worry about! Hopefully same for you at your next US @kristah2
