Weekend Pregnancy Chatter 9/2

This is the weekend chatter thread to... you know... talk about pregnancy and stuff. Wondering what everybody's opinion on doctors vs midwifes vs doulas? Find a good cure for something that's been ailing you?  Just had one of those "holy smokes I'm GROWING a HUMAN like it's a potted plant or something, but INSIDE MY BODY" moments?  Have a rando ask when the baby is due and you're like, "Wait, I'm not even showing yet, not sure if I should be polite or rude at this point"?   Whatever comments or stories or questions or etcetera you got that don't quite fit into the other organizational threads, this is probably the spot.

    Anyone see that Bad Moms movie?  I'm sure it's pretty cheesy but I'm thinking it might be fun. I literally never go to the movies so I was thinking of taking myself on a date.  Plus, popcorn. Mmmmmm.

    @STM2017 I have had major sensitive noise the last few weeks. I'm not normally like that and wasn't with my previous pregnancy. I walked into our enormous room at work last week and was immediately hit by the smell of burnt toast. The smells haven't really made me more or less nauseous though. Glad you found a smell that helps with nausea. Just keep a Pampers in your purse!  ;) Nobody would question that, you're a mom!

    @cafedisco I haven't seen it yet, but it definitely looks hilarious!

    @cafedisco I really enjoyed it! It was ridiculous and hilarious, but had a lot of truth to it. I found it to be touching while entertaining.

    @cafedisco I saw it opening weekend with some other moms in my neighborhood. We ran into our kids' teacher in the theater! It was hilarious - a little over the top - but highly enjoyable, particularly if you have school aged kids and have experienced some PTA woes!

    June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN  August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
    September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN  October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
    IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 10M, 8F, 2T, 6 F) :: Beta #1- 176  c/p @ 4w4d
    FET #1 February 26th :: Lost 4 to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
    IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5) :: Beta # 1- 15 c/p @ 4w
    FET #2 Cancelled, Right Tube Developed a Hydro  8/28 Hydro & Scar Tissue Removed  Cleared for FET

    I am reaaaally struggling in the energy/motivation department this weekend. My husband has been getting all kinds of cleaning and projects done around the house and I feel terrible I'm not helping but I just can't even. Just can't. I feel like I get exhausted thinking about what needs to be done. I told him the only work I've accomplished this weekend is growing a human.

    @Dannylion24, I think it's cute. With DS I found out I was pregnant on labour day. And I totally made a point of telling people that fact. Oh the irony!

    I have been so exhausted this weekend! And I've done nothing. My parents and FIL were here this weekend to help work on our basement and I was frequently spotted taking a nap on the couch. Thought I was getting over some of the extreme exhaustion but maybe not!

    @Dandylion24 I say go for it!

    I busted out maternity clothes this weekend.  I'm only 7 weeks, but nothing was fitting.  Boo!

    Aaaaaaand first time off sick while pregnant. Started feeling nauseous and lightheaded (more than usual and my usual tools weren't helping) around 2:30 this afternoon, took off around 3:00 and now I canceled my therapy sessions for the evening as well. Hoping this isn't the stomach bug my sweet niece who was visiting us had over the weekend!!  :s

    Trying to remember that self-care is crucial right now and not to overdo it, but it's hard when I'm trying to bank as much leave time as possible and save $$ for baby. Ugh!

    Ladies, my partner has a sinus infection which basically means the end of the world.  I now get to act as nursemaid while trying not to yutz and wanting to steal the TV back from him the entire time.

    @schef070911  I am super intimidated to look at some of that stuff too as a FTM!  I have no clue what I want yet. But hopefully this sparks my research and maybe I can get a few smaller things.

    I don't know why but the farther this pregnancy progresses the more worried I get. I have no reason for it, but I just get these weird fears that something may go wrong.
