GTKY: As a kid, what was your favorite piece of clothing/outfit? I've always loved accessories and remember having matching earrings, bracelets, headbands, etc to all my little outfits. Oh the 90s...
What size? Per ultrasound yesterday, 7 lb 14 oz (OMG!)
Upcoming appointments? I was 3 cm and 80% effaced yesterday so hoping I go into labor soon, if not, then next Friday for 39 week appt.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My DH's reaction to the 3 cm/80% was priceless. There was definitely shock and 'OMG it could happen this weekeend!?!' I really don't think he thought LO could come before the 16th.
GTKY: As a kid, what was your favorite piece of clothing/outfit? Regretfully I must confess....stirrup pants. I freaking wore those things way beyond their cool date, but I loved having stretchy pants that didn't ride up. I had them in every imaginable color. Mom wanted me to wear dresses, I was all about the stirrup pants. I miss those pants some days....

40 week appointment on Tuesday and if nothing has changed we are going to start to plan an induction.

I had a winnie the pooh outfit that was a purple shirt with a demin overall situation. It was so cute and I wore it alll the time.
I went to a private school so I had to wear a uniform most of the time but when we got a "dress down day" I always wore the pooh outfit

Upcoming appointments? Just left one! Got swabbed, had a positioning US, and she's head down. Woo! Now I'm up for an appointment every week until little lady shows up!

GTKY: As a kid, what was your favorite piece of clothing/outfit? Ok, embarrassingly, it was a pink poodle skirt that my mom made me. I wore this thing all through elementary school (yep, if you're picturing Sandy in Grease, you got it). The worst part is one day I remember all the boys sitting down on the ground and telling me to spin for them. I thought they just thought my poodle skirt was pretty... Until my teacher came running over because what I was actually doing was willingly (though unknowingly) showing all the boys my underwear.
What size? He was 5lbs 4oz as of Monday. Not sure what random veggie he is this week.
Upcoming appointments? Tuesday for GBS swab and check up.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am super excited to have my primary care back in the hands of my midwife! That said, I am finding the thought of her doing checks and swabs a little uncomfortable as she is also one of my closest friends. Guess we are embarking on a whole new level of friendship!

What size? Pumpkin, french grain sack, mini skateboard, cat. I'm guessing about 7.5lbs or so... Hopefully not bigger!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Yay, pre e. Ugh. That happened this week. OB says I'm developing pre e so now on modified bedrest/light activity until baby comes or until they decide to induce. I've posted about this in other threads but I really hope she comes on her own soon so I can avoid the induction. I feel like having an induction will throw my birth plan out the window but I'll do whatever needs to be done for baby, I just want her to be okay, obviously. I've been having contractions every hour (3-12 per hour!) for six days. Did some spinning babies last night and immediately they got painful and at every 4-5 minutes but were again spread apart by the time I woke up. Boooo.
GTKY: Depends on my age I guess. When I was little, I loved wearing a knitted dress that used to be my mom's (and will probably be passed down to this LO). It was so pretty so I can't wait until this baby girl is old enough to wear it.

Rants/Raves/Questions? The good is that I'm GBS negative. But oh man I had a rough day. My midwife really scared me by talking at my appointment today about how my baby's head is measuring disproportionately small and how there's a possibility it could be something worrisome. I cried in the parking lot. Then at home.The OB from the practice that does my ultrasounds called hours later to talk about it and tried to reassure me that it's most likely nothing but said they could do another ultrasound and have the doctor there instead of just the technician to talk me through what they see. So yeah... hopefully baby is fine and just has a small head and does not end up having microcephaly.
GTKY: As a kid, what was your favorite piece of clothing/outfit? I loved overalls as a kid, A LOT. I wore them all the time and refused to wear normal jeans until 5th grade.
