Need ideas please!

For both of my kids I am choosing a book each year on their birthday. I write a note to them in the book and put it away in a box. I plan on giving them the box around graduation time. I would love it if you could share with my some of your favorite books growing up! Thank you!

Anything by Robert Munsch. He's big here in Canada, so I'm not sure if you've heard of him in the states. Try reading 'Love You Forever' without bawling, it's impossible.
