1. What are your fitness and/or nutrition goals this week? Get in more morning workouts during the week before work - I did one this morning (I wasn't sleeping anyway and I skipped last night) and I feel like I already accomplished something!
2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? Evening nausea and a really busy schedule kept me from showing up to the gym more than once. Hence the goal above.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions: Nothing I can think of at the moment!
4. GTKY: What is your go-to healthy snack (if you've got one) at the moment? Bananas and apples (with peanut butter) are great right now, and so are hard-boiled eggs. I'm also doing veggies with ranch greek yogurt dip. And Cheerios. I guess I'm just eating a lot!

2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? Life happened, and I was unable to get up 2 of the mornings I had originally planned for, so I did not make my goal of 4 mornings.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions: I hate how unathletic I currently feel. Also Dr. does not want my HR above 140 for more than 5 min at a time. So Monday I felt like I was standing around half the time letting my HR get back to where it was suppose to be. Its going to take some time to learn how to keep a steady pace and not let my HR shoot up to 180... otherwise I'll just be standing around half my workouts
4. GTKY: What is your go-to healthy snack (if you've got one) at the moment? celery or carrots with a little bit of ranch dip... the ranch isn't great, but at least its not nutella

2. Any challenges to meeting your goals this past week? I am so tired, and have been eating like crap, all the carbs probably diminish my energy even more and i just feel unmotivated.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm pretty sure I've gained 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks just from completely giving up on any semblance of healthy eating.

I went back to work (teacher) this week so having the time and energy to run and cook healthy meals was tough. 3. Rants/Raves/Questions: My resting heart rate was always pretty low (high 40s to low 50s) and it is still about the same. I feel like it should be higher now, but can't remember from last pregnancy. My heart rate when working out is certainly going up without as much effort as before. I plan on asking my doctor about this at my next appointment, but is anyone else experiencing a relatively low resting heart rate? 4. @SJG812 as long as your carbs are the healthy kind you're good to go. Our body needs the healthy carbs to burn the energy. This is where energy first comes from. So keep eating those good carbs!!
