Not my first. Hi everyone! :) Previous MC in March @ 6 weeks.

    2. How far along are you?
    5w4d.

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
Trying to make it to Saturday (6w). After that, my first appt on 9/13.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I've got nothing that I haven't already posted about in Twatwaffle Tuesday or WTF Wednesday.  :D

    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
DH does yard work, so I'm definitely not hiring someone for that.  ;)  I would probably pick cleaning. I (normally) don't mind cooking, plus if I don't feel like cooking, we can always go out to eat. But cleaning....not my fave.

Hello everyone, I had a MMC in March @10wks. I hope I can keep participating in this BMB.
    2. How far along are you?
    I am currently 9wks today!
    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
The 12wk us. I had a dating us at 7wks showing that all was good. So I hope I continue to have good luck.
    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
PGAL brain is the worst. I haven't bought anything yet as I'm nervous. I just want to be excited.
    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?

It would be cleaning for sure. I like cooking and tending to my garden.

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
still looking forward to hearing the heartbeat with a doppler at about 12 weeks
    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes
I have been having some pain in my pelvic region the past 2 days...really hoping it's just round ligament pain.

    5.GTKY:
I guess cleaning, but I am pretty OCD about it, so while I don't really like to clean, I am not sure if I could handle someone else doing it.

I am this exact same way....especially about laundry and how its folded. And its my least favorite chore. Why do I have to be OCD about it?!?!

  • 1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. Not my first, but I've had 2 chemical pregnancies.

    2. How far along are you? 8 weeks, 6 days

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Hopefully hearing a heartbeat via Doppler at my midwife's office in a couple weeks. I'm worried we won't find it and I'll worry even if baby is fine.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I really hope this placenta isn't in the front again. Anterior placentas are stupid. Also, I don't feel pregnant right now and it's wigging me out thinking about what if I'm having a missed miscarriage.

    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Definitely yard work. I hate it so much and hubby never has time.
  • 1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in.
Hi gals.  I am 37 and my only child is my puppy daughter, a 6 year old Greyhound/Siberian Husky mix.  I'm on my 5th pregnancy in just under a year.  My first was a MMC at around 11 weeks...I didn't find out until 13w6d at my NT scan.  Since then I've had 3 chemical pregnancies (lost all between 5-6 weeks).

    2. How far along are you?
I'm 9 weeks today.  I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks.  HB was 134 and the nugget was measuring a few days ahead, according to when I ovulated.

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the fetal Doppler I purchased online so I can attempt to find a heartbeat and confirm that I'm still actually pregnant.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I am so stressed, but am trying to put on a brave face because when I express my concerns I am utterly tired of people telling me variations of, "don't worry, it'll all be fine."

    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
I'm also too OCD to have anyone else do the cleaning.  DH does the yard work.  So, cooking I suppose, though DH has a thing about eating food that anyone other than his loved ones or a restaurant has prepared...so we'd definitely have to keep it a secret.

My TTC story is not as long and painful as yours is, but I agree with the quoted section. I'm so tired of people saying "don't worry, it will be fine." How do they know?! Do they have access to these amazing uterus goggles and can see my baby growing and developing?! I know everyone who says this (including DH) means well, but geez...

Edited bc I hit send too soon.

    1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in.
I am 30 amd we have been TTGP aince December. I had a MC in Jan at 5 weeks and a missed miscarriage the cycle following at 10 weeks. It then took 2 months for y HCG levels to drop back to 0! (That was excruciating as I still felt pregnant through most of it). We have 3 furbabies: 2 dogs and a kitten!

    2. How far along are you?
    7w4d

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
My first appointment is on tues. I am so nervous and excited to hear a heart beat.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I'm jealous of everyone with morning sickness!

    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
I like cleaning and my hubby does the yard work so I guess cooking. It sure would be nice to take a nap while someone else made me a delicious healthy meal!

  • @KirstinH88 Where can I purchase a pair of these "amazing uterus goggles" you speak of?!  Haha...I love it...and seriously wish they existed.  Yes, I too, know that people are just trying to be reassuring so usually I don't give them my spiel about how my history would indicate that things will not be fine.  Also, I was absolutely devastated after the first loss.  It matters not that my journey has been longer and possibly more painful than yours.  Pain is relative and I totally get that it only takes once to spoil your pregnancy innocence.

  • 2. How far along are you? 7w today.

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My next ultrasound is in 2 weeks. Which is right at the point of my mmc so it will be a relief to check in.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: positive vibes that I got to see little bean yesterday! Rants: my hormones are insane. I had PPD after my mc in June, had three weeks of feeling normal after that, and then suddenly I'm pregnant again which is great, but I'm so hormonal. I've been hormonal for the last five months with a three week break in the middle. I just want to feel normal again.  But I won't complain about being pregnant! I just have some friends who are upset with me and I haven't the foggiest idea what I've done and they won't talk to me about it and my hormones are making the worst case scenario in my head.

    5. GTKY: If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Cooking. I didn't like cooking before, and I have less desire now with all the nausea.
  • @kirstinh88,
I have found myself re-folding towels that DH has folded because the way he did it was messy. And then I complain about how busy I am...
  • Of course @mrsstuessy. Take all the time you need and we will welcome you back when you are ready!

  • My doppler arrived today and I was able to hear my baby's heartbeat (I'm 9w2d)!
  • @thecavfamily
which one did you get? Was it difficult to find the heart beat? I'm debating getting one, I'm 10w, but I'm worried I will obsess even more than I do now haha.
  • @Dax28 I searched "fetal Doppler" on Amazon and chose the Cobely Pocket Baby Heart Monitor for $63.80 plus shipping.  The box it arrived in says Sonoline B.  It was difficult to find a heart beat, but I wasn't sure I'd have success this early on.  By the time you would receive yours, you'd be about 11 weeks so I suspect it would be easier.  Watching the YouTube "how to use a fetal Doppler" videos helped a lot.

Prior to my first pregnancy, and subsequent loss, I had no clue that one could miscarry while exhibiting no signs.  Until yesterday, I couldn't be sure that I was still pregnant.
  • Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. I've been MIA so just a refresher:  had a CP in November, then a blighted ovum in feb/ march,  and here I am

  • I'm here on a lurking basis with the occasional comment, so intro!
One kid at home and one in the clouds, lost to trisomy 18.
9(ish) weeks along. Looking forward to the week after all these damn first tri tests are done and results are in. I'm 100% pgal bonkers this week and it's killing meeeeeeeeee
if someone hired me right now it would be because they do not have enough stress in their life and need a lunatic to bring some into their life. My rates are good and I have references!
  • 1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in.
