So pregnancy brain already? Have you heard of this? It's when you completely forget shit or do the stupidest thing for no reason... I swear mine never came back after the first kid and it just keeps getting worse. I use to remember EVERYTHING! Now I can't remember yesterday.

Apparently I don't know words anymore... constantly apologize and all I can think to say is "me no speak good".

Same happened with my 1st and like you said, I never fully recovered.

So I called my husband to see if he could pick our oldest son from school. He calls me asking where he's at so I tell him where we meet. At the same time My step son asks me what he was wearing to school today and what color his back pack is, he then tells me he thinks he saw someone walking with him, at this time my husband calls me back asking if our son is home yet, panic sets in, I'm like NO! I go outside and look around and don't see him (we live 2 blocks from school). It all of a sudden dawns on me! He had a play date today!!! My husband and the school were in a panic

I work at a bank and our lobby closes at 3. I was talking to one of my co workers as I watched them cross the building and lock the door. Two minutes later I was like oh you can lock the door now She was like are you okay, you defiantly watched me lock it. I don't remember pregnancy brain setting in this quick with DS.

DH was at the grocery store buying everything for dinner on Monday and asked if we needed rice. Nope, I bought rice recently so we should have a big bag in the cabinet. He got home, went to look and it wasn't there. Oh wait, I did buy rice recently, but it was in IRELAND.

Last week I was craving a burger so I stopped and got a root beer as well--which is my favorite thing ever. So after DS is done eating his dinner, I got him out of his highchair and started looking for my pop (this is like 2 hrs after I bought it). I couldn't find it. I looked to see if I had left it on top of my car when I got home, checked behind the table to see if I had knocked it over, looked all over the place. Probably a solid 10 minutes passed before I realized I had drank it all and had already thrown it away. Thank god Dh wasn't home, I'd never hear the end of it lol!

I was hosting a meeting and it was going to be a long one. So I get everything ready. I got snacks for everyone organized where everyone was sitting put handouts they wanted printed at their chairs etc. it gets to my part of the meeting and I have nothing. No handouts no notes. Wtf?! I had to pause the meeting excuse myself and print out everything and then present on the fly. What a loser. They're my friends so they were nice but damn I was embarrassed.

Yep. I have a checklist on my bathroom mirror: Prenatal vitamins, deodorant, brush your teeth. It's sad, really. Necessary, though, as I left the other day and completely forgot to brush my teeth or put on deodorant.

These are hilarious yet sad .. Because they're all happening to me. I think the worst thing yet has to be last week when DH got home from work at 1 in the morning and our 4 month old decided 5am was time to get up for the day. I rolled over and cried that I was exhausted (I fell asleep by ten the night before) and that he had to get up. He did and I slept another 4 hours.
This may have been plain laziness but I'm blaming it on my tired pregnancy brain not realizing who actually needed the sleep.

Had people over last night and baked some cookies to have. I had a pan in the oven and was talking to people in the other room. Timer went off so I went to check on them. They weren't quite done so I waited a few minutes and then pulled them out. About 30 minutes later I was like "oh my goodness, I left the cookies in the oven!" Ran in the kitchen in a panic and saw them sitting on the stove already out...

Yesterday I was supposed to meet up with a mom who was going to buy my son's old clothes. Well I told her the HEB (grocery store) by my work. Well I completely forgot that there's also one on the way to my work. She called and she's like "i'm here, i don't see you?" I'm like "i'm standing right here, wearing a blue shirt". She then says "Are you at the other location by the Wendys?" I was like OH CRAP! "yes, i am so sorry".

I often interview candidates for positions and today kept calling the candidate by the wrong name, even with his visitor badge clearly displaying his name. I kept calling him by the next interviewer's name. I seriously felt like an idiot.

This summer my DD has been at school Tue/Thurs for "camp" and with my MIL Mon/Wed. DH does drop off, I do pick up. Last Monday, I stroll into her school, go straight to her classroom only to stop in horror and realize. . . It is Monday, she doesn't come to school on Mondays, she is across town at my MILs house. I felt like such an idiot and waved like a doofus to her teachers, saying oops, see you tomorrow! Thankfully, next week she goes back to 5 days a week so I can't make that mistake again!

I had a post-conference for my evaluation this morning. Completely forgot about it and wasn't even at school while she was waiting for me (even though I had set up my stuff for it before leaving yesterday). And I double booked myself twice today! I'm not usually like that at all.

I work for a pastor and a couple called to schedule marital counseling and before I could call them back I LOST their phone number. Fortunately they called again five days later but I felt so horrible. It was my fault they weren't getting the help they needed. I also keep putting stuff in the fridge I'm not supposed to.

I had been reading all of these stories and thinking to myself, I have nothing to share...until today. I packed yogurt and cereal for DS for breakfast at daycare in little bowls. I also packed peanut butter for my apple at lunch in a little bowl. Somehow the yogurt and peanut butter switched and I sent my son peanut butter in a bowl for breakfast. I didn't realize until I went to eat my lunch. I am sure that his daycare thinks I am nuts! Although, I might have enjoyed peanut butter and cereal for breakfast. Lol.

Got in my car this morning and couldn't figure out why I couldn't put it into reverse. It's because it wasn't started...not only that, I didn't even have the keys with me, I forgot them and my wallet inside.

I'm very forgetful this time around. I almost forgot I was babysitting 2 girls yesterday that I was supposed to get from school. Thankfully I was there to get my son and they saw me. When I got home my oldest SS (who's 18) said "you sure have been forgetting a lot lately". We haven't told him were pregnant... Again...
