Upcoming appointments? Well my doc is out of town until the 6th, so I'll be seeing a random midwife on Wednesday.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Thanks for everyone's advice about the dress. I ended up wearing it to the wedding and got many compliments...except for the comment from this 82 year old man asking if my belly button being pushed would detonate a bomb and blow the baby out of me
Symptoms? Have been trying to fight a sinus infection. Will notice a dry scratchy throat once and a while. Damn fall pollens.

I was OBSESSED with the Flintstones growing up and the only costume they had left at the store (Jamesway, mind you) was of Fred Flintstone. I was only 6 years old and totally rocked it in the school's Halloween Parade. The outfit was plastic and the mask was definitely something out of "Purge".

One year I dressed up as a princess and I just felt so so beautiful! I think I was maybe 6?
it was like a medieval costume- velvet and like romeo and juliet style.
last year I dressed up as a pop art character and I'll probably AW with a pic later bc I really am proud of how I looked lol

Rants/Raves/Questions? Allergies are starting to lighten up and I can finally breath at night.
Symptoms? Got two leg cramps last night. Took everything inside of me not to scream out and wake DH. Not that he would've been made, but he would probably think I was going into labor and panic lol.
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? I dressed up as Belle for 2-3 years in a row lol so I guess that one was my favorite.

Upcoming appointments? Monday, get to see if she will let me finish off my last week of work as I have been squeaking by with my blood pressures. So much retained fluid!!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I really miss being able to bend in the middle!
Symptoms? On top of the ever growing sexiness that is pregnant me, I am now trying out a wrist brace at night to help with this crazy carpal tunnel.
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? My mom made me a Betty Rubble costume out of blue fun fur one year. Four of us went out and totally rocked the Flintstones theme! I then recycled the same costume again for a university Halloween night and it was a whole different kind of Betty Rubble! Good thing Barney wasn't around!

Upcoming appointments? I had my last check up yesterday. I wouldn't let her check my cervix so it was pretty boring!!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I stopped eating dairy last week for baby's sake, assuming my baby will have MSPI like Ellie did. Rave: my husband is doing it too in solidarity and it's so sweet! Rant: It sucks!!! And I still gained 4 pounds since I stopped last week so I don't get it....
Symptoms? I'm huge!!!!!!!
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? I loved Halloween. I think my favorite was this ridiculous clown costume...I went all out and I was a goofy kid....
How far along? 37 weeks!! Ah can't believe I've made it this far!!!

Upcoming appointments? Tuesday's my last appointment before my scheduled CS!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I love my doctor. When I walked into my appointment this week, he got the biggest smile on his face and says "I can't believe we have done it! I've been thinking of you all weekend." I went into labor early with DD and we were both sure it would happen again with this baby.
Symptoms? Insomnia, heartburn, leg cramps. 11 more days.....
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? I was a crayon one year and I still remember it. Another year a bunch of friends from high school dressed up of Zombies and had the best time together before a bunch of us moved away. (we live in a tiny tiny town and everyone excepts you to go out until your in grade 12 just so they can see you dresssd up)

Upcoming appointments? MFM and midwives on Monday. Fingers crossed that this fabled MFM discharge appointment actually goes right!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm just ready to embrace some sort of normalcy in this pregnancy instead of everyone treating me as though I could spontaneously combust at any second. BUT one more week of work before mat leave!
Symptoms? Is 'beached whale' considered a symptom?
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? My favourite costume was a squirrel (pink, of course) that my mum made to fit over my snowsuit (Canada, eh!) with balloons filling the tail! That costume was re-purposed the next two years as a bunny and a deer respectively.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh, been feeling so gross. My headache has gotten worse, had some blurry vision for a few minutes yesterday, got lots of nausea and, of course, my BP went up on my home monitor. So I called L&D triage but decided not to go in because they said it'd be rare for all that to happen if everything was ok on Monday and my monitor was probably defective. Great, thanks. So I woke up, had breakfast and proceeded to throw up. Now my BP is lower (thankfully) so I'll wait this out and maybe call the office if anything changes.
Symptoms? Oops, I guess all the above.
GTKY: I don't think I have one favorite, my top ones are probably Pebbles (also from The Flintstones!) and Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
What size is baby? Feels about the size of my 3 year old to me...
Upcoming appointments? Next one is Tuesday at 11
Rants/Raves/Questions? Hubby says I'm not allowed to have this baby before tomorrow afternoon, it better be out by tomorrow night cause I'm so done!!! Ugh!
Symptoms? Rang in week 39 by barfing my guts out like always, picking up in frequency again so if I never barf again once baby is here it'll be too soon!

Hard to pick just one but I remember when I was about 5 my mom made me a beautiful little wedding dress and veil so I could be a bride and she let me wear makeup, thought it was the most fantastic night ever!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Cervical check was done at 36 weeks and there was nothing going on and baby's head wasn't engaged.
Symptoms? Still cannot breathe!! Baby has not dropped yet. Anyone else in the same boat?
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? I was Pocahontas one year and LOVED it! I kept wearing that costume long after Halloween

Rants/Raves/Questions? It's hot here again, breaking a record and will be about 100 degrees... so over the heat. I'm ready for fall!!
Symptoms? My poor feet. My DH was awesome and gave me a foot massage yesterday that helped.

My mom made me a homemade jester costume when I was like 5 years old that I loved and wore at least two years until I grew out of it. It was pretty and had bells sewn on it and this adorable hat.

Upcoming appointments? Next Friday for 36 weeks. I believe I'll be weekly after that
Rants/Raves/Questions? It's funny being an end of the month due date and having so many September babies already.. It makes me feel like we have both a ton of time left and also no time at all!
Symptoms? Pelvic pain, acid reflux, exhaustion. Those are prob the most significant right now!
GTKY: As a child, what was your favorite Halloween costume? If you didn't celebrate, what did you like to dress up as? Oh man, my costumes were pretty funny, and by funny, I mean homemade because my mom couldn't really afford to buy them. One of the best pictures I have is of me as a ballerina when I was about 6, but seeing as I'm from Maine, my mom made me wear my puffy winter coat UNDER the pink turtleneck I was wearing. I look like a marshmallow with a tutu on.. It's priceless.
