My lovely neighbour had a stroke on the weekend. He is the sweetest old gentleman I ever did meet and him and his wife love my kids. They have been inviting us over every night this summer for swims. My oldest (3yo) and him are buddies and asked me if he could "pray to Jesus, for Mr. And Mrs. ______'s broken hearts"

I lost it and ugly cried in front of my three year old.

We are looking for houses and my husband wants to remodel a smaller home and then move in a few more years. Needless to say the stress and anxiety cause major tears. I HATE HOUSE HUNTING!

@C25 My condolences. I'm still traumatized from house hunting over two years ago. I can't imagine doing it while pregnant. Good luck!

I decided to go out to breakfast with my 15 month old son to savor the time before I go back to work on Thursday even though I felt sick... Came home and immediately threw up while he stood there watching... Cue tears... I just want to feel better!

Because I signed my 3yo up for her first season of dance class. Mainly when we tried on her ballet and tap shoes.. She just looks so grown up!

I went to dinner with my Mom last night. Her and I used to go to dinner every night before DH came in to my life. She looked at me and said "This reminds me of old times, I miss our old times." And I lost it, in the middle of Carrabba's.

I couldn't even handle all the happy endings for everybody. I was crying the last 30 minutes of the show.

I broke down thinking about being a stay at home mom of two. I love it. I know it's what I want to do. But sometimes it's just overwhelming and hard. I feel like a glorified maid --underappreciated and it has its lonely days! Can't wait till my kids can talk so I can be a little more sane

@kjd291 Girl you don't have to apologize. I fantasize about being a sahm and I still feel like a frazzly hot mess at the end of the week. Sometimes I feel like a Dim with the Stir Crazy moodlet. Its okay to love what you do and hate certain aspects of it.

Eta I'm a teacher so I am sah this summer.

Sunday morning we had a welcome back service and picnic at the church connected to the school where I teach. Last year that service came while the hurt from my miscarriage was still pretty fresh and new. I don't know if it was just the memories or what, but I had to sneak out and hope no one saw that I bolted to the bathroom to have a good cry during the first hymn. Ugh.

Sahm life in the summer and then back to work for a few seasons. I'm sure it has lots of crazy challenges too. Normally I would have a large glass of wine and that would take the edge off a hard day... Guess the leftover birthday cupcakes will have to do

Because I listened to "you're gonna miss this" the country song on my way home from work yesterday. Literally stopped on the channel, thought to myself you shouldn't listen to this you're going to cry, and did it anyways. EMBRACE THE TEARS lol

After read an article on the Today Show about a toddler who is paralyzed from the waist down due to chemo treatments for cancer found when she was 4 months old and her parents built her a wheelchair out of a bumbo, a cutting board, and bicycle tires. All. The. Tears.

My husband and i shelled out a lot of cash to take his aging father to his hometown and his fathers home island in greece. My father in law has done nothing except be rude to wait and hotel staff, and make scenes in public (i think he suffers from an undiagnosed personality disorder). Not so much as a thank you, let alone an offer to pick up a tab for an outing, or lunch, or dinner. I lost it after my fil stated (after a nice day trip to a neighboring island) "i need a beer" and literally sat down on the side of the road and told my husband to go into a corner store and get him a beer. I am done with unappreciative narcissists and the entitled. Side note: the pool is a great place to have a semi public cry! Just act like youre swimming!

Last night, DH was telling me how his parents might want to take care of our baby while we are at work this time next year. They live 30 minutes away from us (although not far from where DH works.) The mental image of seeing my baby strapped in a car seat and leaving without me brought me immediately to tears!! This kid is only a 1/3 of the way cooked, but it's already stressful thinking about him/her not being within an arms length away from me.

@dubcompanion it's so sad and hard! I don't want to make you cry anymore

but honestly it's so hard when they scream and cry and reach for you. That being said, I've worked full time and now I work every now and then so I've dropped off DS1&2 at a variety of daycare/friends/family..and if they're offering free child care and it's family I'd suggest taking up their offer! (As long as you are comfortable with them of course).

I cried like a baby Friday at work...

I work in the preschool classroom at a child care, and Friday was the last day for our kiddos heading to "big school." One had been with us since he was 6 months old, and another since just after his first birthday. Last days for our preschoolers are always sad, but hormones for sure got the best of me this time. Lol

While packing up my house today, I found a collar that belonged to my old dog that I had to put down at the end of May. She was with me for 15 years.
Now while doing a late night scroll through facebook, a friend shared a series of pictures of a woman giving her old dog one last happy day, and I am a mess.

I just cried at the Incredible Dr. Pol because the dr had to put down a dog that looked like my first dog. It was for the best but I can't take it.
