It may be fun. We shall see...I am going to see my mom/sister/niece 2.5 hours north of where I live. They all just moved in together (along with my mom's boyfriend). That household has 3 adults, one preteen, and 6 dogs. Then add me in.

Hopefully everything goes okay, and I think we are planning to go to the casino on Saturday.

Heading over to see my sister and her 4 kids soon. Tomorrow is hubby's birthday. He doesn't like celebrating it because he lost a friend on it when they were in Iraq a few years ago. He's working a 24 hour shift today, so we will probably get some morning sex in and then eat our one month old wedding cake instead of birthday cake since he says he would never eat year-old cake. Then Sunday it's softball and off to a teammate's pool.

So if you drink while taking medication, it usually intensifies the effects right? So maybe if I drink while taking femara it'll work even better. I'll test this theory.

My weekend is boring. Errands, give the dog a bath, AF should come. I am excited because I have 3 packages waiting for me at the post office. One is dog food which I'm still happy about and the others are 2 pairs of shoes and some LLR stuff ( @Krys I'll let you know how it goes lol). I'm going to pick up a pack of HPTs in case AF doesn't show since I used my last one on Thursday (It's Sat. morning in Korea right now) but that's more of a TWW thing. DH has been working 12 hour days and has today off and is back at it tomorrow for another week.

It is state fair time here in Alaska and it is the first sunny weekend we've had in about a month, which means I will be doing all the things in the exact opposite direction. On average, about half the population of Alaska goes to the fair and we have one road to get there and out.

In other news, I plan on swimming at some point before Monday. GIVE ME ALL THE CHLORINE.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to "Street of Dreams" which is basically a showcase of new million dollar homes outside the city that you can tour and oogle over. It's fun, I like to go look at the interior design and how they have the homes staged.

Sunday we are having some friends over to do a fantasy football draft. I'm not the biggest football fan, but we are trying to get a coed fantasy football going with other couples, most of the other ladies aren't big football enthusiasts either so it will just be an excuse for us to have a little competition and get together throughout football season for drinks and food. Which means I need to clean my house

@CrystalPDX I love oogling fancy homes! DH and I will be renting for the foreseeable future because we move every few years for a new duty station but some day we will have our "dream house". In the mean time I look at all the fancy houses on Pinterest to design said dream house.

Not sure what the plans are for the weekend... Maybe trying to get some fall mums for the front of the house... I'll have to put them in pots because we're getting new Windows soon and the work men will just trample them if i plant them in the flower beds. If the weather is good Sunday maybe exploring a national park, admission is free this weekend for all national parks!

I have another folli scan tomorrow morning, and then DH and I are going to check our a new place, to possibly move in October! It all feels like it could be happening very very fast, but I guess you have to strike while the iron is hot.

@BusinessWife Good luck today! At both the folli scan and looking at the place!

My lovely husband decided to have people over for a BBQ today. Which meant I got to grocery shop yesterday and means I get to clean the apartment and cook this morning. Lucky me.

Tomorrow we plan to literally do nothing. I go back to work on Thursday which is insane.

DH took the kids to the in laws so I could have the house to myself today while he changes the brakes on the van. He is golfing tomorrow. It is a pretty relaxing weekend for us.

Our other vehicle broke down last night so DH had to get up with morning and get the kiddos up and ready to take me to work. My weekends usually fall during the week. We both work tomorrow but thank goodness he has a work van, so we don't have to worry about not having the 2nd vehicle.

First weekend after heading back to work means I'll be up at school today, grading and getting crap together for Monday.

I've also been taking time off from teaching a dance class, but the lady who owns the studio has asked me to come back for a month since some of her current teachers are taking some time off too. Sooo - I get to teach a month of dance classes starting today, which will be nice.

Other than that - debating whether or not to go to this art show tonight with DH. I hate art, but I like free wine/beer.

And I like the area of town where it will be held - so maybe I can find something else to do while DH works the event? (He does beer promotions/sales).

@NYtino24 I don't blame you about the cake - I think we waited a few months for ours, but def not a year. Yuck.

@CrystalPDX Ooo touring fancy homes sounds fun! Do you dress up all fancy too? I would totally do that and be ridiculous.

@hezzer78 I will probably wear something a little nicer, but it draws a whole variety of a crowd. You have to pay to get in but anyone can go. It's also great people watching

@NYTino24 @hezzer78. Ours was wrapped up in the freezer for the year, and actually surprisingly delicious! Lol. We shared it with my brother and nephews when they visited over Memorial Day ;)

I have this theory that there is auto-BG on the weekends and when a comment gets reported it gets an auto-warning. I mean cuz seriously, a legally blonde meme is totally not warning worthy people. In the words of Elle Woods, I object!
