Yesterday I ate hot cheetos for mid morning snack and then I ate a cup of noodle for lunch (I know, so unhealthy). Let's just say I wanted to vom all afternoon. Never again.
I'm doing better with eating. Nothing sounds good (except those donuts!) but once I force myself to eat something it's better. Had an egg and yogurt for breakfast. Orange juice is wonderful! Had some grapes for a snack and crackers and creamy swiss cheese. I just tried some water but NOPE. Can't do!
Today has been another "nothing sounds good" day. So I am eating saltine crackers and attempting to drink 7up at my desk...I am going to hate both of these things by the time this is all said and done.
The chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is my favorite but for my last pregnancy doctor told me to avoid since cookie dough batter contains raw egg so just be careful !
Everything sweet! Especially salt water taffy...found a store with about one hundred flavours and it's so soft and amazing. The cherry cola and caramel apple are my favourite so far
Most chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is dough made without the raw eggs. I actually have a recipe for eggless cookie dough as well and it is pretty good!
I am CRAVING apple cider donuts... can't find any anywhere and I want to cry if I don't get one soon
I am counting down the days until we go apple picking and can pick some of those bad boys up! Around here, they only taste good from the farm. Everything at the store is blah. Bonus for me is that our class field trip is to a pumpkin farm so I know I'll get to go at least twice!
Literally can't read this thread without gagging. Here's what I'm eating - garbage food that's making me gain way more weight than I should in first trimester! I seriously don't know how women go through pregnancy and only gain the 25-35 recommended pounds. I always start with this goal. And I don't think it's gonna happen this time around either
All I want are burgers, bagels, toast, and zebra cakes. I'm having a horrible time eating healthy and drinking water. Lemonade and Gatorade save me. I'm so nauseous ALL DAY!!
I second that this thread makes me gag !! The only thing that sounds appetizing the last couple days is pizza and cheese burgers. Then I remember I'm lactose intolerant? And my entire day is ruined looks like I'll be sticking with strawberries and burnt toast today .. Hopefully that stays down.
My husband and I joke that I am becoming the child within because I'm subsisting primarily on preschool foods: plain toast cut up into small pieces, apple slices, half turkey sandwiches with cheese and mayo, hot dog with no bun and ketchup, tater tots, and all the ginger ale. He's really struggling to cook for me because plain is not our usual MO.

@Omie_Wise that's all my husband eats. He's a major pain in the butt. He takes an uncrustable and juice box to work every day for a snack. It's a struggle to come with up with dinners because he doesn't like anything!!
I'm thirsty all the time, but nothing sounds good. Water was working, but not anymore. In terms of food, I have to eat protein in the morning or I feel really sick all day. I had to completely give up coffee because it also makes me feel sick. Giving up coffee was the struggle because I typically love coffee!
Still hooked on carbs. Pizza, pasta, cereal, toast. Too afraid to look at the damage from the last few weeks on the scale
Also, I've found that water no longer helps when I feel thirsty. Occasionally ice water will help but I've switched to milk, slushies, popsicles, etc. at night to help.
I'm so nauseous most of the time that my diet right now consists of bread, bagels, potatoes and fruit. Thank God for my prenatals- at least im getting some vitamins into my system. As for cravings I have none! Just the mention of meat or dairy makes my stomach turn. Looking forward to eating better in the next trimester!
I've been being almost stupidly cautious because my son was born with malrotated intestines and I'm scared of defects now....but today I bought a sandwich at the grocery store and devoured it in the parking lot, listeria risk be damned. It was turkey and swiss on a wonderful soft croissant. Delicious.
Every time I think something sounds good and get it, the minute it's in front of me, I'm grossed out. I tried water yesterday and it almost ended very badly for me. so I drink peppermint tea, Gatorade, vitamin water and I just bought some apple juice and will try watering that down to hopefully add some water to my diet. AS far as food, pretzels and popcorn is the only thing that doesn't make me feel sick after I eat it. But I still force myself to eat other foods. I'm slowly experiencing some cravings, BUT as mentioned as soon as I try eating it it's awful. *sigh

Same.... as soon as its in front of me and I can smell it... Not interested at all... Especially if it smells even mildly sweet.
Do you ever feel like you don't believe or see how it will ever get better?
Seriously I feel so crappy and think to myself, how is this every supposed to improve. I just don't see it happening. Obviously it will, but this is totally kicking my ass and bringing me down.
I, presently, have accepted constant nausea and lack of appetite as my new normal.... I do not remember what it was like to not feel this way, at this juncture....@mrsbakes
