8 week quadruplet update

Yesterday we had another ultrasound for the quadruplets. All of them are measuring 8 weeks and have heartbeats in the 153-159s range. Yesterday it seemed to have really hit me that this is really happening! I am still so overwhelmed and now in the process of getting our house packed up for the move before I become limited with restrictions. I am also fearful of how this pregnancy will be with the added risk of having four but also trying to remain positive and believe that everything will be ok! I've attached our 8 week ultrasound, but I'm not sure how to rotate the image. We have our first appointment with the perinatalogist this wednesday!

    Glad you got more good news!  I don't know how I'd process all that.  Take care of yourself,sounds like you've got a lot going on!!

    I heard you are moving from AZ to NH.  How did you get so lucky to live in two of the coolest places in the country??!  I want to move to AZ so badly but pretty sure it would be impossible for DH and I to find jobs there.

    @catrb89 my symptoms seem to be a bit more intense than with my pregnancy with my son. My first pregnancy I was lucky and didn't have morning sickness. With this pregnancy I've had major morning sickness (or what I think is major) and alot of food aversions which is making it very hard for me to want to eat. I'm also more exhausted this time around also.

    @Cbeanz my husband and I both lived in NH our whole lives. About a year ago we took a leap and moved to AZ. It has been amazing and we have enjoyed ourselves. Not to mention that the cost of living in AZ is much more affordable compared to NH. We are sad to leave but realize we can't raise 5 children under 4 all by ourselves out here! I'm not sure what you and your husband do for work, but the job market is pretty booming out here. We are in phoenix and when we first moved here I did not have a job but with in our first week I had multiple job offers. I would definitely look into it if you guys are interested!

    @NurseMama our immediate family knows, and are just as shocked as we are! They thought we were pulling a joke on them! We decided to tell immediate family because we are going to need their help during our big move back home. We originally didn't plan to tell anyone until 12 weeks,  yet again that was before we knew we were having quads! If we were having a singleton we would have waited to share the news until we were further along.

    Glad to hear you are doing well! I agree that you guys are so ahead of the game. Do you know when you will find out the sex of the babies? Are you waiting until an ultrasound?

    Such an amazing pregnancy! Quads! You sound like you are really getting on top of planning and that you are gearing up to have an awesome pregnancy/life with these 4 additions. Praying for you and these babies, that you will all stay healthy and strong, and for all the changes you have to make in the coming months, that they will be smooth and relatively low stress. :)
