I know not all of us live in the states, but I thought we could celebrate National Dog Day by showing off the furry loves of our life!
I will be honest--I don't own a dog. We aren't allowed with where we live. But would love to see everyone elses!

This is after she got under the house from the back yard. We still haven't figured out how she does this. We have the entire house blocked with lattice. One day we'll figure it out.

@bnsmith85 Yep we both have cairns! She is just in desperate need of grooming right now. She hates anything besides brushing, so I put it off until I can't stand it anymore. I trim her face and legs, but pull the hair on her body like you're supposed to.... The hair on her ears is out of control!

I don't have any dogs but I have 3 cats! One of which who thinks she's a dog! But... I'm sharing my twin sisters pitbull Bentley and my older sisters Havanese Jewels! (She looks a little red bc the lampshade was red and tinted her fur in the picture lol) Eventually, when we get a bigger place, we are definitely getting a dog!

I love dogs! I'll let my furry babies have a special treat today.... Above is my baby walle, he is very sweet and he loves to be spoiled.

below is his new sister Chikis a little Chihuahua I found at work with seriously damaged skin, I didn't have the heart to just look away so I took her home, now she is healed and they are both staring at me because I was making a quesadilla for dinner and they both wanted to take a bite...

Oh good! I'm not crazy! I knew I remembered talking to someone about it but couldn't place who. I'll remember this time, I swear! Lol.... Well, she's precious! Mine HATES grooming too. And yes... Ear hair out of control all the time for mine haha

side note- I would love to see two cairns together. Mine doesn't really play with other dogs often (she's just not that interested most of the time), but when she does, she's super fun/feisty/vocal (growling and such) and I think it's hilarious. I realize every dog is different, but I imagine these two cute little feisty terriers running around together and it being the cutest thing I've ever seen lol

@bnsmith85 She has played with one other Cairn in her life and he is like her younger twin (he's a year or so younger). But it was funny how much I thought they looked alike in pictures but when you got them together, she was obviously way more feminine in her features!!

She doesn't get to go on many doggie play dates either because I'm so terrified of her getting hurt, but she does play with my in-laws Shihtzu and my parents' lab pretty often!

Guys, I'm so jealous! My dog lives with my parents (technically he's my parents' dog, but I picked him out at the shelter and trained him when I still lived at home), and my condo owner won't allow me to have pets!

I keep waiting for DH and I to move into our new house so we can get a dog, and he's all like "But what about a cat instead?" (BARF!) or "We won't want a puppy with a new baby!" (LAME!)

I want to squish all the furry doggy faces!!!
