Hello everyone looks like i am the firs to have a grand entrance my lil man decided he wanted to make an appearance early he was born this morning at 5:02am 4lb 7oz and 17 inch long i was only 33 weeks his doing great though breathing on his own which i believe is the help of the 2 steriod shots they gave me to help his lungs develop quick (which in may i was in hospital for contractions and thy had gave me 2 then too) his only have a feeding tube in his nose and is suppose to be out in 2 weeks but his doing amazing they say.....now friday i went in for a check up and i had told my doctor i was having contractions and she decided to check me and guess what i was dilated to 4cm already so she had me admitted into the hospital for my contractions they gave me medicine to help them go away which they finally did saturday har only 1 every 5 maybe 6 hours so they were happy about that they stopped giving me the meds but at 2am his heart rate started dropping they had me roll to my side and he was good but hour later he did it again by the 3rd time he did it the called the on call doctor and he decided to go ahead and get me into the OR for a c section few mins later my Mario was here for his grand entrance
Finley James was born at 34+4 weeks via induction (pitocin) due to maternal preeclampsia. 4lbs, 6 ounces! We shall call him Fin. He is breathing on his own, working on latching and loves to suck on his hands! I had an epidural put in before induction started and it made everything a breeze. I dilated to 10cm in about 6 hours, pushed him out in 4 pushes and am still being monitored due to the preeclampsia. Hoping I continue to stabilize. We are hoping he can come home in a week or two. Time will tell but for now he's a warrior (Finley actually means fair warrior) and we couldn't be prouder.
Evin Alyse made her debut at 36w1d weight 6lbs6oz and 19" long. She is doing great and not single issue! She looks just like big bro but has brown hair instead of blonde.
Oliver Scott (7 lbs 14 oz, 20 1/4 in, first picture) and Josephine Grace (7lbs 11 oz, 20 in, second picture) are here. They are both in the NICU but hopefully only for a short stay to monitor their blood sugars and their breathing. Mom and babies are doing well otherwisebe. We are very much in love! Now we just have to remember what it's like to have Itty bitty babies that we're responsible for! Thank you guys for all the well wishes and positive thoughts!! I'll update with more details on the randoms thread later.
Layla Grace was born on 8.10.2016 at 10:39 pm, weighing in at 7.14oz after my water broke at 6:58 am. We are completely, completely over the moon.
I am now doing fine (after Pitocin, 3x tries at an epidural, antibiotics for a fever, cholitis?, and a freaking fainting spell replete with mouth foam after baby was delivered). Layla had to get vacuum suctioned out (we only spent two hours in active delivery but she hasn't dropped as much as was needed). She received an APGAR score of 8-9 and got a few good latches in.
I'll do a separate detailed post (with more pics!) when we get home on Friday. DH is fast asleep on the couch. In the meantime I'll continually check the randoms thread too!
I didn't take any pics but this one so far is my fave. Here she is giving DH the exact same side eye look that mom (me) gives him. Bahahhahahha.
Benjamin Allen (Ben) and Brooklyn Dana (Brooke) were born this morning at 10:07 and 10:27 am. I was 35 weeks, 5 days and I woke up to my water breaking at 7:00 am. We got to the hospital at 8:45 am and they were born about 90 minutes later! There was lots of craziness today, but we're thrilled that they are healthy and doing well. Ben was 6 lbs, 7 oz and 19 inches long. Brooke was 6 lbs, 9 oz and 19 inches long. So far, no NICU! I'll do a birth story when possible. Just wanted to pop in and share!
for some reason my post is getting cut in half so I'm trying to repost the whole story! Here goes! Baby Monte Ervin is here! I'm trying to sleep but can't. The adrenaline from having a baby is keeping me up so thought I'd check in He was born at 10:31pm, 6 lbs 2 oz and 19.5 inches long. We had a mild scare last Thursday with low fluid counts so were rechecked today and fluids dropped from 7 to 3 so I was admitted to L&D right away. They broke my water (which huuuuuurt) and started pitocin/edipural around 4pm. I dialated quickly to 5 and then stopped cold for about 5 hours. We thought he was going to be born tomorrow since he was taking his sweet time. They checked me at 10, still 5, then about 5 mins later I started having really intense contractions I could feel through the epi and were only 1-2 mins apart and had a super strong urge to push. So my OB came in to check me and I had jumped to 9.5! I "practice pushed" since I was still effaced only 90% and started t crown immediately. So she stopped me and pulled up the stirrups to get the party started! About a dozen nurses came flying into the room and I sat through one more contraction and on the second pushed super hard and he came right out! It happened so fast!! feel so blessed to have another little man in our lives and he looks just like LO1! Same fat upper lip and swishy nose. We are soooo in love!
Hazel Rae, a tiny peanut born at 36+2 weighing 4lbs8oz. She wasn't growing great in the last month due to having a 2, rather than 3 vessel cord. My fluid was also low tuesday, so they decided to induce. Everything was going OK til my water broke on its own. Af that point she wasn't tolerating labor so well. I had a csection, I wssnt thrilled about it, but I'm glad we did as the cord was wrapped adound her throat. She's out and healthy for being so tiny! Just having some issues keepin her blood sugar up. We are in such awe of her.
Meet Kyler Earle he was born on his Grandfather Earle's birthday! August 18 @ 12:20. 36 weeks 6 days he decided he was ready to get out of mommies belly. He weighs 6 pounds 3 oz and is 19 inches long. We are completely in love and big sisters can't keep their hands off of him.
Lucas Michael was born on 8/19 at 9:59am weighing 6lbs. 8oz. and is 19.5 inches long. He totally surprised us since we were expecting at least a 7.5lb baby! And he has a full head of dark hair. Poor guy came out sunny side up so his forehead is bruised and swollen but it is already starting to get better. We are so in love and I can't wait for big brother and big sister to meet him!

Beau Grayson was born 8/19/16 at 8:58 am. I got to the hospital at 3 am and was already dilated to a 5. Got my epidural shortly after which was amazing! Pushed for about an hour and a half and this little guy was born he was 7 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long. I was 37 weeks and 6 days. We are doing great and he couldn't be more adorable
Mikah made her arrival this morning at 7:05. Started cytotec at 9pm last night, by 1am I was having strong contractions every 2-3 mins and dilated to 5. Got my epidural placed around 2:30am. At 4:45 my water broke and at 5:15 I was dilated to 10cm. Started pushing around 5:45 but she had flipped sunnyside up so we decided to labor a bit longer to see if she would flip back and she did. A few contractions /pushing and she was on my chest. She's 8lbs 4oz and 20in long. They found a sizable blood clot on her placenta and believe that was the cause for all her abnormal nst's/bpp's but she's fine now. Both of us are doing great and we are absolutely smitten with her.
Olivia Rose came this afternoon at 130 after I called the on call dr at 630 about possibly leaking fluid. They told me to come in and it wasn't fluid but I started contracting so much and was past 5cm already. They said they would induce but after breaking my water everything went quick and the epidural didn't take and it was too late, luckily Olivia was ready and came out quickly. I'm very sore and sleepy but we are ok. 8.1lbs and 21 inches
We had an unexpectedly long induction yesterday that started at 6am with Pitocin. We all felt like I was progressing quickly and my water broke spontaneously shortly after getting my epidural around 9am and I was hovering at 5-6cm. I had originally wanted to wait to get my epidural but both doctor and anesthesiologist felt that since I was a vbac we should play it safe and get one while I was still comfortable just in case something went wrong. Unfortunately, that was the most excitement we had all day until around 5pm...we were starting to wonder if we should consider an epidural. Luckily, my nurse/coworker felt like my bag of water had 'resealed' and put a scalp electrode on. I was complete by 6, we labored down for an hour and I delivered this little chunk at 6:54pm after pushing through two contractions. Sloane Monroe weighed 7lb 15oz (and would have been 8 even if she hadn't peed everywhere, twice) and was 19" long. We were all shocked that she has long auburn hair! I was 39 weeks and 5 days and we're both doing great!
I went to one of my bi weekly NST at 37 weeks where I failed. The doc decided that it was time for her to come. So at 6pm I was wheeled into the or for a c/s. Amelia was born at 6:37pm and was 5lbs 7oz 18in long. She is perfectly healthy and we are so in love!
Ember Ruth was born August 17th at 5:05pm. I was 37w3d. She was 6lbs 4oz and 18 3/4 inches. We are in love! I went in for my routine appointment and was dilated to a 6 and baby was very low so the Dr sent me to L&D. 4 hours later she was born.
Cecily Ticana was born at 1:28am August 25. She weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce and is 21 inches long. Started with Cervidal at 10:00am which through me into labor at 10:30am (which the Dr said she has only seen 4 times before). Got the epidural at 2:45pm and my water broke on its own. I wasn't dilating fast enough so they started me on pitocin. I stayed at 9cm for about 3 hours and they talked about a c section. I asked for them to give me an hour longer and when they checked I was 10 and ready to push. I pushed for less then 45 minutes. Got a 3rd degree tear. She had breathing problems and I started bleeding very badly so I never got to meet her for 30 minutes. I was a mess and sobbing but she is with me now and she is perfect. Long day but so worth it.
Alice Rose was born at 38.6 weeks on 8/25 at 7:46am. weighing in at exactly 6lb and 18 inches long!
Last wednesday I had a growth scan an LO was measuring under the 10th percentile. Doc decided that she would grow better on the outside and on tuesday I checked into the hospital to be induced at 5pm. Tuesday night they started me on cervidil. The next morning the started me on pitocin at 6am. The pitocin didn't really work at I only had minor contraction and no real cervical change so after 8 hours they decided to put a bub in my cervix to mechanically open it up. After 4 hours it worked and I got to 4 centimeters. they uped the pitocin and broke my water, after a few more hours I made it to 8 and doc was ready for me to push. Unfortunetly baby was trying to come out sideways and after 3 hours of pushing and 24 hours of labor our stubborn baby wouldn't budge and we had to get her out with a c/s
Logan William and Avery Rowan entered the world August 24th at 11:56 and 11:57 AM respectively by scheduled c-section due to Avery being breech (we thought he was transverse, but had decided to go with the c-section anyway, but it turned out that he'd flipped yet again).
Logan weighed 8 pounds even, with a head full of long, straight, dark brown hair. Avery weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, with a more sparse head of wavy, sandy hair.
Ava Madelyn was born at 39 weeks weeks on 8/25/16 at 1042am weighing 7lbs even and measuring 20 inches even. She is the biggest Seitzy sister yet.
After a scheduled induction, we checked into the hospital at 5am. Started pitocin at 530am at a 2 and starting having contractions immediately around 5-7 minutes apart. I was dilated to a 4 when I was admitted. They increased my pitocin to a 4 when my contractions started coming 3 minutes apart. MW broke my water at 845am and the contractions intensified after that. I got my epidural around 930am but it wasn't working on my right side at all. I could feel everything while lying with the peanut ball between my legs. After 20 minutes on the peanut ball I went from a 4 to an 8 and I switched from my left to my right side and the pain got worse. I was feeling every contraction and cramp so they gave me a second round of epi meds. I went completely numb to the point where it was scary. I could hardly feel pressure.
I laid on my right side to get the medicine to start working and at 1020am my MW came in to check on me and it was go time. I was so nervous I started throwing up. After that, we did a practice push and Ava's head literally started popping out so my MW rushed to get gloves on and get ready. After three big pushes, I helped pull my little girl out! We couldn't be happier to have three healthy, beautiful girls. Oh, and she is her big sister deklyn's mini me!! (Let's just hope she is a little more chill )
Alice Ruth made her arrival this morning at 8:09 am via RCS. She weighed 8lbs 3 Oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. They had a lot of trouble putting my spinal in, it took an hour of them digging in my back and two anesthesiologists to get it done. They hit a nerve that has my right leg in a lot of burning pain but we are both doing okay. We are learning the ropes to breastfeeding and big sister is totally in love with her. I can't get over how tiny she is and how much hair she has!
Layla Rose was born August 26th at 12:54 pm. 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 1/4 inches.
Woke up at 5:30 am to a popping feeling in my pelvis and cervix. Being only 37w3d, I figured it was probably nothing, but decided to get up and use the bathroom. Didn't have any leaking when I got up or while peeing. Decided it must have been a false alarm, but then felt a very small gush after standing up from the toilet. Sat back down, and a fair amount of my water started leaking into the toilet, and then got a huge gush as I went to tell DH that my water had broken.
With our first, we rushed to the hospital, and I wanted to make sure we were totally ready this time before we left. I took a quick shower, we went through the bag to make sure we packed everything, I tested my sugar, took insulin, and ate some breakfast. We dropped DD off at my brother and SIL's house where she stayed until MIL got there (she lives 1.5 hr away) then headed to the hospital.
I started contracting pretty quickly after my water broke, but there were 7-10 minutes apart and light. They'd picked up to about every 5 minutes by the time we got to the hospital, and I was dilated 2-3 cm when they checked me. Around 9, contractions had picked up to every 2-3 minutes and were getting pretty intense, so I asked for the epi at that point. The fluids they gave me for the epidural slowed contractions down to 3-4 minutes, and they lost some of their intensity. Epidural went in well, and took pretty quickly. It numbed me from the pain, but I still felt pressure with the contractions this time. Not uncomfortable, just a different experience from my last epi! I was 4-5 cm at that check. My OB came in just before my epidural was placed to talk to me about starting pitocin. She said a small amount might help things since we were expecting a bigger baby. So they started me on a 1 shortly after the epi was place. Somewhere along the line, I moved up to a 2.
Things were pretty uneventful until just after noon when they checked me again, and I was at a 9. OB was scheduled for a c/s, so I labored down until 12:45. OB came in, and asked if I wanted to try a practice push. I wasn't having the strongest urge to push, so I thought it'd probably be a while yet, but agreed to try. After the first push, OB told us baby was at a +2 station. Pushed through 4 or 5 contractions before she came out quickly and screaming!
Eden Patrice was born 8/26 (39w2d) at 12:56 pm via scheduled c-section due to breech position. 8lb11oz, 21 inches long. We are both doing well and she is a champion at nursing. If she had gone to her due date I think she would've been the exact same size as her sister. All three of us are completely smitten with her.
Miss Nia-Mae Grace Lambert born 28/08/16 at 2:41am weighing 6lb 3oz. A bundle of perfection and she's a superstar at nursing.
I started contractions of 7-9 minutes apart on Fri at 10pm which then progressed to 3-5 minutes after trying to sleep through them. I felt the urge for the toilet where my mucous plug came away and my contractions intensified and continued to be 3-4 minutes apart. After arriving to Labour Triage and being examined I was 2cm which increased to 3 after a membrane sweep. I was instructed to go home and labour as much as home.
I managed to to labour to established labour and reached 5cm when we went again, the labour was rough as I couldn't manage to keep anything down and was sick throughout. By the time I reached I decided I needed the epi where it was topped up about every 2 hours. At 9pm I'd reached 7cm but Nia-Mae seemed to not be responding well to the contractions so blood had to be taken in order to test if this was the case. If so then I would need to be admitted for a c-section straightaway. Fortunately this wasn't the case but contractions had slowed down so they decided to give me the hormone drip to speed things up which did. Along with another dose of epi I was able to deliver quickly with only about 30 mins of pushing.
Bristol Mia born at 4:10am August 29th, weighing 7oz and 20" long. I woke up at 12:30am with a contraction thinking I just had to pee, went pee, climbed back in bed and started having another contraction. My 2y/o woke up at that point and I went and rocked him and put him back down. Climbed back in bed and said that I should probably start timing my contractions since they seemed pretty frequent. They were coming at approx 3.5 mins apart lasting 1:10. Woke husband up around 1:30, called the neighbor to watch our son, called family headed to hospital. Checked in at 3:15am when I was checked I was 8cm and 100%. Labored for about 25 more mins, doctor broke my water and I started pushing a few contractions later. After 4 pushed and catching my own baby girl she was born. It was a quick labor, no pain meds, healthy breastfeeding like a champ baby girl :-)
Randy Lee was born August 30th at 8:05am weighing 7lbs 1oz. Via repeat scheduled c-section at 38wks 4days. I got my tubal ligation done at time of csection. Randy and I are doing well and he is nursing like a champ!

Myself and DH are smitten with our princess!!!
bumping from my phone, sorry if these are huge.
