Logan William and Avery Rowan entered the world August 24th at 11:56 and 11:57 AM respectively by scheduled c-section due to Avery being breech (we thought he was transverse, but had decided to go with the c-section anyway, but it turned out that he'd flipped yet again).
Logan weighed 8 pounds even, with a head full of long, straight, dark brown hair. Avery weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, with a more sparse head of wavy, sandy hair.
When I checked into the hospital, it was discovered that I'd developed pre-eclampsia in the last week or so, so I'll be on blood pressure meds for a while.
My c-section went well aside from some issues getting the spinal in (it turns out I have scoliosis), but Avery had to make a short detour to the nursery for low blood sugar and a breathing treatment.
Once we got to our room, I realized I was bleeding from my incision and had to be taken back to the OR and put under general anesthesia to deal with a bleed in my abdomen that needed cauterized. I lost a fair amount of blood, but luckily didn't need a transfusion.
Since then, it's been a struggle with extreme swelling, high blood pressure, pain and vomiting, but I'm feeling better today. Logan is going to need a little time under the bililights for some very minor jaundice, but I think we're all going home tomorrow.
I'm currently holding Logan while he sleeps.

Re: Logan William and Avery Rowan's birth story
Charlotte born at 28w3d due to severe IUGR on 12.24.2012 Merry Christmas!
Missed M/C discovered 12.22.2014 at 8w1d measuring 6w3d
2015 was a year to test strength of both body and character, but it led us to this... BFP 01.26.2016 EDD 9.30.2016
Sebastian 3-11-14
Simon 5-2-15
Baby #3 Due 9-29-16
We're so in love with our little squishes! So far no trouble telling them apart (it'd be hard to have a problem at this point, I guess!) and their personalities are definitely different, so we've got that going for us, too.
I'm feeling so much better than I did yesterday. It's a night and day difference. We had a crazy night last night with me being sick and both little guys deciding they were going to scream and cry in tandem (unusual for them, especially Avery), but the nurses were great and got us through and now we're looking forward to going home. Everyone's doing well!
