I'm probably going to get majorly flamed for this one, but Ethan is currently asleep (it's 2:33am) in his crib on his stomach. This past week, he has been getting up every few hours and doing lots of tossing and turning. We change him and try to feed him but he's not interested. So tonight I put him to bed at 7pm on his tummy and he slept until I changed his diaper at midnight. I feed him a little and now he's back to sleep on his tummy. He sleeps so much better on his stomach during the day so I decided to try it at night. Luckily my husband is asleep because he is very much against the idea of Ethan being in the crib on his belly.

I bet most of us slept on our tummy as kids. We lived.

My mom still thinks it's funny babies aren't supposed to sleep on their tummy now. As long as your being safe follow your instincts
I confess that sometimes I find Preston's cries funny. Not the "help me" cries of course but he does this whine when he is fighting sleep that makes me giggle cause he literally goes "wah......wah....wwwwwah....ma" and it's like really quiet so it almost sounds like he's faking it. Lol
When I'm feeding Nadia her bedtime bottle I keep the lights totally out so she knows it's bedtime. Sometimes I put in my earbuds and listen to a podcast or Netflix show.
I feel kind of bad, but my older kids get up at 5:30am, my oldest doesn't take a nap, and dh and I spend time together once the kids are in bed or I work, so that 15 minutes is literally the only "alone" time I have most days.

I totally stifle a laugh when Damien does his whiny cry. He first does this cartoon-esque super frowny face and that's followed by a "mmmmmmaaaaoooooow." Sounds almost like a cat meowing.

My mom is the same way! Oddly enough Tristan has never gotten remotely close to falling asleep on his tummy. The other day I rolled him over to his back after tummy time, turned away for half a minute and when I turned back he was out! Currently trying to convince DH that it is a good time to start transitioning baby to the crib at night, but he is too worried and now the little guy has a cold again. Hopefully it goes away fairly quickly. I think I am going to invest in the owlet monitor too once we move him over.

When Jackie is tired she has a cry that sounds like an angry cat. Especially as she's coming down off of a wail with a pacifier in her mouth.
My FFFC is that my MIL keeps offering to give us a date night while they're in town and I feel bad because I kind of don't want to take her up on it. We have SO much shit to do while they're here to get ready to move next week that I'd rather spend the time she's babysitting knocking out my to do list.

AmberLiz99 I get super angry when my H sleeps in on the weekends
Ugh my husband has started taking 5 hour afternoon naps on the weekends because he is "so tired". Needless to say nothing gets done that he "was" going to do and he has messed up his sleep cycle for the work week, meaning he is perpetually tired. I wish I could shoot lasers out of my eyes just to ensure he really understands how pissed I am. GRRRRR!!!!

Lucas nurses every 1-2.5 hours during the day with just one or two longer stretches for naps. He comfort nurses a lot and nurses with his eyes closed, half asleep many times. There is only so much time I can spend gazing lovingly at him. If I'm not reading to my toddler, I'm often on my phone when I nurse.

When Savannah is asleep when nursing I'm on my phone too, no flaming here!
We mounted the tv in her room on the wall (it used to be the guest room and still has the guest bed in it) and she doesn't even sleep on here yet. So we spend majority of our time in here watching TV and hanging out. She still spends 4-5 hours a day nursing and you better believe I can't spend that much time humming softly to myself in a loving fashion. Phone or TV for the win.
I have a million reasons to be flammed this week. I bought a month of tanning I know how terrible it is but it makes me feel better about being 12 pounds over weight right now. I'm eating healthy and working out so I just have to accept this is what my body wants to hang on to while breastfeeding. Also I lied to DH about how many times I was up with LO during the night so I could sleep this morning. I do this frequently.

Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
The athletic pants that I'm wearing tonight as pajamas I got when I was 15. That means they are 15 years old! That is seriously embarrassing
