Hey ladies - (@MrsNap_515 - I hope you don't mind but saw this hadn't been started today so thought I would jump in!) We have made it another week - let everyone know how you are doing!

GTKY: With all the talk of Football on the board today, it has me thinking about Fall. So, what are you most excited about this fall?

1. How far along are you? - 12 Weeks & 5 Days. So close to 2nd Tri!

2. How many multiples are you expecting? - Twin blessings! (Di/Di)

3. Any recent appointment updates? - No appointments this week. I go back to my MFM next week.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? - Feeling pretty good. I am still hoping that the elusive promise of 2nd Tri energy comes true!

5. Any baby bump yet? - The bump is definitely there. We finally started taking bump pictures this weekend. We are going to try to do weekly pictures (we will see how often we can remember!)

6. Team Green, or will you find out? - We are team green!

7. Any current cravings or aversions? - I had a ridiculous craving for McDonald's today at lunch. Veggies still don't sound appetizing but I can usually stomach some. But no lettuce - just don't even bring it close to me!

8. Anything else you want to share this week? -

GTKY: With all the talk of Football on the board today, it has me thinking about Fall. So, what are you most excited about this fall? - I am so excited for fall. Cooler temps, pumpkins, football, crunchy leaves.

1. How far along are you? - 11 weeks 1 day

2. How many multiples are you expecting? - Twins! (Di/Di Fraternal)
3. Any recent appointment updates? - just last week, but I go back next wed evening for my NT scan with my MFM and then an ob appt, can't wait to see them again!

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? - morning sickness has gotten much worse, it's as soon as I open my eyes, just feeling tired since i still get up at night to pee

5. Any baby bump yet? - oh yes...I can't fit into any of my work pants, I need to get some maternity work clothes, last time around I worked in a casual office so I got away with regular maternity jeans etc.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? - We can't wait to find out! I have to call my insurance to see if the dna/genetics test is covered, since they want to check due to my age, and we'd also get to find out sex

7. Any current cravings or aversions? - still craving anything involving sour cream or cream cheese, and got back into drinking coffee again (decaf) yay! and i had my first pumpkin spice of the season today!

8. Anything else you want to share this week? - I'm so excited- leaving saturday morning for a quick weekend trip with 4 of my SIL's to go to a family bridal shower, we got hotel rooms, no hubby or DD for a whole 2 days LOL!!

GTKY: With all the talk of Football on the board today, it has me thinking about Fall. So, what are you most excited about this fall? - Fall is my FAVORITE season, I love living in the North East, it's the best time of year, the leaves, the weather, the smells, Pumpking picking, halloween, pumpkin spice everything

and of course football- go steelers! oh and of course legging & boot season!!!!

3. Any recent appointment updates? no but I wish I would have one! see the dr on the 1st.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? tired but otherwise normal

5. Any baby bump yet? definite bumpage starting.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? we will find out this time, but were team green with our 1st.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? Gummy Bears and Granny Smith apples

8. Anything else you want to share this week? I'm just feeling the first trimester paranoia. I wish I could have another us to make sure they are both in there still and doing well. I know I should feel blessed that I don't have MS or feel crappy but I don't. it just makes me anxious.

I'm also excited for bonfire season! We live in an area with lots of farms, and we have a few acres, and at the back of the property DH has a fire area, and all our neighbors come over, and the kids all make smores, etc, I can't wait for that!!!

@mrsnap_515 that sounds amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting a few acres too..

1. How far along are you? 11 weeks 5 days

2. How many multiples are you expecting? 2 little miracles, was mono di, identical but now MFM is suspecting didi?

3. Any recent appointment updates? had ones yesterday bc of shortness of breath =] 2 next week 1 with regular obgyn, one with MFM. just my 2 weeks routine check up

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? mild headache today (this is a new thing) with slight shortness of breath still. I feel like whale.......and due to that I think my tummy is not digesting fast enough or wtvr. oh most importantly my sleepiness have not gone away. I AM SO TIRED ALMOST ALL THE TIME. ALMOST ALWAYSS. i have like 6 hours of good energy maybe. i never have energy to do anything.. like clean the house or fold clothes.

5. Any baby bump yet? see whale reference above. yup the bump is very round. im 5'2 and petite so.. YUP!

6. Team Green, or will you find out? we actually have the envelope with their genders already! lol but DH doesn't want to open it yet since with the genetics test if its di/di the results are not accurate. BUT we will open it.. we do eventually want to know

7. Any current cravings or aversions? aversions 1st: i really basically hate all veggies... i like some salads.. recently green beans, and Chinese string veggies.. that leads to my recent cravings: Chinese food, with rice, even American Chinese food. smoothies, i really like cantaloupes right now

8. Anything else you want to share this week? i am thankful that i am a FTM and i have nothing else to compare to symptoms wise... bc i keep hearing from everyone and my doctors that i just have it a lot worse symptoms wise and its really hard. I have got to admit.. truth. being preggers has been the hardest thing i have ever done my entire life....... i always hated being sick, and i feel sick since like BFP till now. i am very very grateful, happy, and want the little babies to grow grow in my belly as long as they can. But it has been a hard journey so far. Sometimes i want to cry. and i have no idea how yall STM/TTMs do it...

13 Weeks today! Second Trimester! Woohoo!
2. How many multiples are you expecting?
2! Mo/Di Identical

3. Any recent appointment updates?
I went last week and got to hear their wonderful heartbeats.
4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc?
Still nauseous and exhausted. Plus, I'm getting full super fast.
5. Any baby bump yet?
Yes! I'm wearing loose stuff though since not everyone knows yet. At home when I'm wearing yoga pants and a tank, you can see my cute bump!
6. Team Green, or will you find out?
We will totally find out. We decided against genetic testing since the doctor didn't act too concerned and now I wish I would have done it.
7. Any current cravings or aversions?
We have this local BBQ place in town that's usually my favorite and the smell of it killed me today, broke my heart. I've been eating veggies and wanting salads more though.
8. Anything else you want to share this week?
Told my Dad this morning! He's a recently retired K-9 Sheriff if that gives how his normal mood is. I said "You're gonna be a Grandpa." He started smiling and said "Really?" So I said "Times 2." and his next quote was "Holy Shit Alex." to which I said "It's your fault." LOL Twins run on my Dad's side of the family and they said identicals would be put on to me, not DH. My Dad is happier than I've seen him in a while. I'm so excited.
GTKY: With all the talk of Football on the board today, it has me thinking about Fall. So, what are you most excited about this fall?
Football since I'm a hardcore New England Patriots fan and just cooler weather since I'm in South Florida and it is hot as hell. I'm over the heat.

Hey guys -- not doing the check in but I wanted to share that I got some not so great news this morning and I'm having trouble processing it. We had our NT scan and Baby A is perfect. Baby B didn't have any of the chromosomal issues they were looking for, but there is a 50/50 chance that there is something else really seriously wrong. I'm going back for a scan next week and if it was just a fluke and nothing is really wrong, they'll be able to tell me that right away. If not, I'm not sure what the next steps would be but it didn't sound good.

I'm really upset. I know it could be a lot worse than 50/50 odds. But we were just about to announce the pregnancy and I guess now will wait because I don't feel like celebrating. I keep thinking about how hard it would be to announce that I'm having one baby, which is still such a joyous miracle, when inside I'm devastated about the second. I know I'm getting ahead of myself; it's just so hard to be excited that one is perfect when I'm so upset that the other one might not be.

@anonellis I'm right there with you, waiting on a follow-up sonogram in a week to check if my pregnancy is viable. It sucks when all you 'm do is wait and see. FX it was just a mismeasurement or something and both babies stay healthy!

@anonellis @longliveregina I'm sorry that the both of you are stuck waiting right now. I have my fingers crossed for the both of you.

Are any of you ladies switching from your normal OB to a specialist for your pregnancy because of the multiples?

I really really like my OB and her group (she's in an office with 3 other female docs and all of them have RAVE reviews), but last appointment I found out that their group actually includes 11 doctors from 3 offices.... 11!!! So I have the chance of having any of the 11 deliver my baby. That would be crazy enough with a singleton, but I feel like 11 doctors could have wildly different opinions on twin delivery.

I fully understand that my chances of having a C Section are sky high, but it isn't unheard of for a di/di vaginal delivery and that is what I'm aiming for if at all possible. I feel like my chances of that are non-existent if I deliver with someone I've never met! (They said I can make my subsequent appts with the other docs so I can meet them all... but shoot...)

2. How many multiples are you expecting? di/di twins

3. Any recent appointment updates? Noooope. 4 weeks between appointments is ROUGH. No appointments until 9/12!!!! My last appointment was when I found out about the twins, so I'm writing down all sorts of questions.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? Morning sickness has morphed into afternoon/evening sickness. I've also been having nosebleeds. The nosebleeds are scary!

5. Any baby bump yet? Mostly blump, I think. I'm a size 12/14 with a little extra around the middle anyway. I haven't been able to feel my uterus yet, but I'm starting to think that maybe I don't know what I'm looking for. At my appointment on 8/15 during the manual exam the doctor said I was measuring closer to 12-13 weeks. That was 10 day ago, so I'm assuming that I'm closer to measuring 14 weeks now.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? Team-tell-me-asap. I declined the genetic screen in first tri, but now I'm thinking maybe I should have done it so I could know the sexes earlier.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? I haven't been able to eat chocolate in 7 weeks. It makes me so sick to my stomach and gives me terrible heartburn.

8. Anything else you want to share this week? I told my mom's family about the twins this past weekend and everyone LOST IT. They were so excited. These will be the first grandchildren/great grandchildren!

GTKY: With all the talk of Football on the board today, it has me thinking about Fall. So, what are you most excited about this fall? I don't do football, unless you're talking actual football aka soccer in the US. I'm looking forward to sweater and legging weather and being able to flaunt my bump/blump and not have to camouflage it!

i really appreciate everyone's support. i realize I posted something vague, but my inner Internet privacy nutjob got the best of me. The problem they think one of the twins might have is pretty rare and I don't want my family to stumble on this board looking it up. But hopefully it will resolve itself and be nothing and I'll tell y'all about my scare next week. In the meantime, I'm just going to distract myself and try to think positively.

i literally never posted on a message board in my life until this pregnancy, and I gotta say, you guys are pretty great.

I had an ultrasound appointment today. All babies measuring 8 weeks with heartbeats ranging from 153-159
4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc?
Slowly starting to get my appetite back but still feeling nauseous.

Small bump as I am growing at 4 times the rate! (Might also be bloat!)

@direwolfmini I'm also seeing a MFM not just for multiples, but I have various other reasons that make this a high risk pregnancy, my ob suggested it, and after my first ob appt, she got me right into his office for a scan, so now my appt's will be a scan with the MFM, followed by my ob appt, your ob would bring it up to you if they thought you need the extra monitoring...my ob practice is also large, so for all your appt's they try and give you each person, so when you have to deliver, it's not a complete stranger to you, and I really liked getting to know them, because my delivery was an emergency, and it wasn't my regular ob, but I knew her and was very comfortable with her

I have been referred to a high risk OB and I'm also seeing a cardiologist later this month since they thought they heard a heart murmur which is probably pregnancy related
