This was one of my go-to videos pre-pregnancy when I need the motivation (usually in the morning) to do the workout I set out to do. I would lay in bed and watch this video and then get up and go workout! It is 2 1/2 minutes long but so good. Good luck this week ladies!

BFP on 5/15/16 at 5dp5dt
Beta 1 = 81 at 8dp5dt, Beta 2 = 295 at 10dp5dt, Beta 3 = 891 at 12dt5dt. Beta 4 = 2114 at 14dp5dt, Beta 5 = 4916 at 16dp5dt, Beta 6 = 13252 at 19dp5dt

  • 1. What are your fitness goal this week?

    Yoga 2-3 times this week. Walk at work everyday. Do stairs at work 3x. Go for a speedy walk 2x. Get out for a long hike.

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week? I did so much better this week! I walked everyday at work. Did yoga 2x and went for a long hike. Honestly, I often get freaked out after working out thinking that I have caused some sort of harm to my baby. I know it is my PGAL brain on overdrive but I can't help it.

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down? I thing I am right where I need to be. Trying to make better food decisions - like not eating ice cream every night...

  • I'm just going to stick with the ambiguous "do better" goal because my weeks have been so busy I never know what I can fit in activity-wise

    I know I didn't meet my specific activity goals BUT I worked my butt off all day Saturday and Sunday prepping and tiling the master bath floor (with this belly that's a workout!!) and patching/ prepping walls to paint etc. It was a massively active weekend! 

    Scale finally went up a couple of pounds last week so I'm feeling better!

    2 yoga classes + try the prenatal barre DVD I got before we went away

    Walk as much as possible. Traveling cross country today so it's basically a bust (unless I count walking through the airports), and tomorrow will depend on how I feel with jetlag, etc. 

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?

    Pretty good considering I was on vacation. Went to 1 really good yoga class and on a couple of long walks. Plus we were outside most of the time and generally pretty active all week.

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?

    Still trying to slow my weight gain down a bit, and kind of nervous to weigh in at my MW appointment next Monday. Now that a lot of my food aversions are gone I'm going to try really hard to stick to a balanced diet. Will also keep prioritizing working out and staying active.

    Yoga most everyday, if the humidity finally goes below Hell levels, some evening walks.

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?

    Good! Yoga every day except on Thursday and Friday.

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?

    Bumped up to 180,which I kind of figured would happen this last week, so on par.

  • Woooo! First time posting on this thread because I rediscovered my love for riding a bike this past weekend and now I can't stop thinking about doing it again.

    1. What are your fitness goal this week?

    -I would like to ride my bike for a few miles at least three times a week.

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?

    -I rented a bike over the weekend and biked 10 miles! (Unintentionally!) I enjoyed riding around my neighborhood and surrounding ones so much I am going to pick up my old bike from my parent's house tonight.

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?

    -At the beginning of my pregnancy, I weighed 165. I dipped down to 155 after being so sick in my first trimester and not being able to hold much down/have a large appetite. I weighed myself on Saturday and I currently weigh 161. I am OK with that. My doctor says I look fine and I am feeling great!

  • 1. Fitness goals: Keep doing more is a good way to put it. Daily walks, 3x/wk yoga (at home), daily bursts of leg and arm workouts, hikes, SUP/kayak, etc. Whatever my schedule will allow. 

    2. Last week: fairly well! 2x yoga, a good long hike, SUP, lots of walking (at least 18,000 steps a day), several badminton games. 

    3. I've gained 12 lbs so far -- currently at 142 and 21 weeks. I think my weight gain has actually slowed down a bit, now that I have the energy to be more active. I feel really great. Baby is at a good weight (had a/s on Friday) and is super active, so I think all is well.

    I got BarreAmped Sleek & Toned Prenatal Workoit by Suzanne Bowen (link below). Haven't tried it yet but will report back once I do! I used to do barre classes religiously several times a week and was in amazing shape. Then I moved to the suburbs and it was hard to find classes that fit my schedule, so I started getting more into other things instead. Seems like a good option for a prenatal workout though, especially since I really want to maintain some muscle tone in my arms and legs (and obviously core to the extent possible).

  • I'm late but I'm going to be joining this thread each week. Just a little background, prior to pregnancy I trained and taught aerial silks for what would have been five years in Sept. I've only trained about twice since finding out I was pregnant due to delays in care, NAUSEA, spotting, and moving to a new state without my equipment or studio. I'm afraid that I won't be able to start back when I am able to get my equipment down here at the end of September since it will have been 3 months of no training. Going to consult my OB but hopes aren't high. Sorry, that's a lot, but this has been the hardest part of pregnancy for me. I miss flying every. single. day.


    1. What are your fitness goal this week?
    Last week I asked my husband to get me out of the house and off the couch as much as possible. I've been depressed as this is my first time away from home. My main goal is to just get up and get going this week too. 

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?
    Late last week was when I really decided I needed to get it together. Over the weekend we logged about 10 miles of walking total going to various parks and walking trails. I'd say that's a success compared to the last few weeks of very little activity.

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?
    I have mixed feelings about weight. Prior to pregnancy I never weighed myself. Last I recall I was between 156-160 lbs. I am 19 weeks today and weighing at 173 lbs on a very sketchy scale I dug out of storage lol. Oddly, I put on the first 12 lbs in the first month and now I have only gained another few pounds over this month even though my belly is steady growing. Waiting to see my OB on the 30th to see his thoughts on weight at this point.

  • Goal: get my butt to the gym twice, walk 3 days of the week for at least 30min.

    How'd I do: not well...though I've been active. DH and I closed on a house over a week ago and have been there everyday after work doing work on it and preparing to move in this weekend. I haven't been very intentional in getting my exercise in lately :/ which is hard considering I used to work out 3-4 days a week. 

    Weight: my weight has been odd, but OB says it's not an issue. I gained 12lbs during 1st tri, but since week 10 (I'm 17wks now) I've gained 1lb. I'm of average weight with smaller build, so dr. says that's prob why I gained so much right away. I feel like I've gained more lately, but maybe it's just been changing. And muscle weighs more than fat...so given that I'm not working out as much, that's probably gone down while other weight gain causes has increased. WHO KNOWS, either way I guess I'm on track.

  • I wont do a full update because I failed ridiculously this week. I only worked out once, and it wasn't even for that long. It was so crazy busy at work, plus I am helping my little sister get registered for college, I had no time for actual lunch breaks to go workout and by the time I got home I was exhausted!!

    But I am here to tell myself I will do MUCH better next week!!! Back on it!

    I feel you on that, girl! It finally dropped to high 80s for a few days and everyone was freaking out about how 'cold it is in August!!'

  • 1. What are your fitness goal this week? - I didn't really have a goal, just tried to walk as much as I can.  I think I'm doing a pretty good job so far.  I really should start yoga though...

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?  Same as above

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?  I don't really think I'm gaining enough weight, but my OB does not seem to be bothered.  I'm currently 17 weeks and I have only gained 1lb so I'm currently at 134lbs (and I'm 5'7").  I actually lost weight my 1st trimester due to nausea.  Now I've been trying to gain weight including by eating a milkshake everyday.  It's actually kind of a dream to be able to eat as much as I want (now that my appetite is finally back) but I hope I start putting on a few pounds soon!

    About me: 
    Me 35, DH 36 (Unexplained Infertility, possible PCOS) TTC for 3.5 years. 
    10 clomid cycles (TI & IUI with ovidrel triggers - all BFN). 
    *Loss mentioned & Trigger warning
    #1 IVF May 2015- resulted in 15 5-day Blasts - SET (fresh) with BFP. Ectopic Preg @ 5w2d, treated with Methotrexate.
    #2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015. 
    13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing.  1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS. 
    #3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.

  • 1. What are your fitness goal this week?  Do better than last week. Lol.  Already off to a good start with 3 days of running completed so far this week!

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?  Horrible.  I felt sick last week and did yoga once. That is it.  Boo!

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?  I am staying active and eating healthy, not really looking at weight too much because I don't want to obsess about it.  I have had 2 kids and lost all the weight and gotten back in shape after both, so this time will be the same no matter where I am at.  Just trying to enjoy my last pregnancy.

    *5 or 4 weight training days

    *2 or 1 cardio stair master days (I want to climb the equivalent of the CN Tower like I used to pre pregnancy. Getting closer and closer every time)

    *Continue my ritual of the 45 min walk every morning around the mountain block

    *Try to get in at least 4 night time walks 

    *Sunday morning yoga at Lululemon and 1 prenatal yoga at my new studio

    2. How did you do at meeting your goals last week?

    I got 3 strength training days in

    2 1hr beach walks

    1 45 min cardio incline walk

    5 morning 45 min walks

    No night time walks

    1 yoga class

    3. Are you gaining enough weight? Do you want to slow your weight gain down?

    Last week: A.15.16 145.6lbs

    This week: A.22.16 147.4lbs
