Upcoming appointments?
I just had one yesterday and nothing exciting happened. Next wed will be the strep b test and internal exam. I'm anxious to see what's going on down there.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Time is flying and crawling all at once. I'm starting to get a little scared of the impending labor. It's so painful. But so excited to see this baby and cuddle!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings?
So exhausted and feel like my brain is always in a fog. I feel so slow mentally and physically.

What size is baby? In the long list of lame TB comparisions, romaine lettuce. WTF??
Upcoming appointments? Just had one this morning. Got the results of my GBS test - I am negative. Yay! I turned down the cervical check since they checked last week and I didn't feel like taking off my pants. I go back next week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? RAVE: At my US last week, baby was sunny-side up. I should have guessed it since I was having horrible back pain and the amount of punching I felt in my stomach was insane! I started do some back stretches on my hands and knees. Then one day I felt a lot of twisting movement and suddenly the back pain and horrible punches disappeared. I am the most comfortable I have been in weeks!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Nothing really.

This is a tough question. There is a lot that I want to share with my children someday, but none of it is really due to childhood nostalgia....
What size is baby? Romaine Lettuce...OB expects her to be small like DS. She was around 5lbs two weeks ago. So now I'm wondering how big she is really going to be.
Upcoming appointments? Had my first cervical check this week (2 cm and 70% and GBS negative!)...going back again next Tuesday. Hoping for more progress.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate this stage...the waiting! Several times a day now, I play the what if game. What if I go into labor now? What arrangements would I need to make for DS and what would I need to hurry up and do before heading to the hospital??? LOL, by this point with DS, I was already on bed rest, and being a FTM, I had everything totally done. This time, I still have things I need to get done! But I also don't want to go to 40 weeks. I think another week or two would be perfect.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Lots of pelvic pressure, heartburn, feeling HUGE

(It can be in the form of a movie/music/vacations/holiday traditions/etc.) I am mostly looking forward to the holidays. I love Christmas and my family had a lot of great traditions. DS is getting to the point now (2) where he can start to understand everything more. I also have this picture that I happened to find when I was cleaning out the guest room to change it over to the nursery. My parents gave it to me. It says, "We asked for a daughter and we were sent a princess." So now I have put that up in her room. I love having that in there.

@marajay6 that is so exciting the baby turned! My first was sunny side up, but I didn't have back labor. He just took a while to push out! I'm pretty sure my second turned for me during labor. He took much less time to push out. But he was also the second so my body had done it all before.

What size is baby? A pumpkin - finally a vegetable comparison I can get behind! Pumpkins are so cute.
Upcoming appointments? Next week Wed (at 39w6d)...but definitely hoping baby is here before then!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just ready for baby to be here. @sarahg8r The waiting really is the worst! I, too, play the "what if" game multiple times per day. Every bit of nausea or bout of BH makes me wonder, "Is this it?" And I get my hopes up and then nothing. I should know better than to play into it so much but it's hard not to!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Typical symptoms, no aversions though I certainly can't eat as much as I used to! Not craving anything specifically but I'm definitely indulging more. I'm at the IDGAF stage.
GTKY: Is there anything nostalgic from your childhood that you look forward to sharing with your child(ren) someday? (It can be in the form of a movie/music/vacations/holiday traditions/etc.) I think it will be fun to share with my children some of the movies that were my favorites as a kid - The Land Before Time, Fern Gully, etc. DH is already showing her Star Wars and, surprisingly, she actually likes it! I also look forward to teaching her (and the LO someday) how to ski; our ski vacations as kids were some of the best times!
@marajay6 SOOO awesome that baby turned for you! What a relief - not only for labor/delivery but also just in general comfort right now, I'm sure!
@MrsVoorhees That's so sweet about the bunnies for your girls! My Grandma got me those porcelain Hallmark "age dolls" for each birthday as I was growing up...do you guys know what I'm talking about? I look forward to passing them along to DD. I haven't started yet as I'm waiting to see if LO#2 is also a girl because, if so, I'll have to get creative around who gets what.
What size is baby? Pumpkin but feels more like a lorry!
Upcoming appointments? Next week Tues if she hasn't come before then for my stretch and sweep. Has anyone had this done before because I'm hearing different opinions about it both good and bad?
Rants/Raves/Questions? So DH and myself went to collect my mum so she's here for the birth. It's nice to have some female company around. I could do with it as I'm feeling more agitated at the moment.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I don't know if I'm going into slow labour but my stomach is tightening and cramping much more often now. Not really painful but REALLY uncomfortable. It feels more intense than the BH contractions I'm used to.
I'm so ready to give birth now!!!!

Nothing nostalgic, honestly I'll just be happy when she comes and taking one day at a time to create our own special memories and traditions
@JennM205 my until gave me those birthday doll/figurines and it never crossed my mind to pass them to Mikah. Great idea!
@MrsVoorhees love the Hogwarts comparison! DH suggested a Harry Potter marathon for tonight. Can't wait!
@marajay6 glad she flipped! Mikah flipped to sunnyside up right before pushing so we had to labor a bit longer because she kept hitting my pelvis. She flipped back with a few contractions.
