Another new girl :)

Hi everyone! My husband and I have begun TTC Again after a 1yr break. Prior to that, we had tried for 18 months with no success. We tried charting and OPK's, but now that we have a good doctor, we are using charting, BBT, OPK's, AND Clomid.
I finished my first cycle of clomid a little over a week ago, and now we wait. I don't hold much hope for the first round working. If we are unable to conceive after 3 cycles with Clomid, she'll refer us to a fertility clinic over in Seattle... though, I'm not sure how far I'll be willing to go. :(

    Welcome to the board.  I am sorry you find yourself here and hope your stay with us is a short one.  DH and I are also on our first cycle of clomid.  I hope you have a pleasant surprise with a BFP!

    Welcome! I'm sorry TTC hasn't been successful for you yet. We've all been in your shoes; it can be very daunting to consider seeing a fertility specialist (RE) but I think most of us would say, we're glad we did. If not only for treatment options, at least to try to get some answers.

    Me 34 DH 36 Married since July 2010 
    MFI (High DNA Fragmentation) & Mild endometriosis
    TTC #1 since June 2015 
    Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
    April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
    June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
    Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
    5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
    May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

    TTC #2 since July 2019
    July 2019 - FET - BFN
    Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
    Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
    July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy

    Hi! Sorry you find yourself here, but it's a supportive community. I was actually surprised at the affordability of some treatments. I hope you don't have to pursue any of them, but if you do, just know there are lots of options.
    DX PCOS + mild male factor
    TTC since Dec. 2015
    Current Treatment: Metformin, Provera, Letrozole, Trigger, IUI
    Past Treatment: Clomid + Metformin x 3 BFN
    Letrozole 5 mg + Trigger shot + IUI = BFP!
    Beta confirmed 8/22
    EDD 5/1/17

    Welcome! I'm sorry you have to join us. I'm glad you've found a doctor you like. Good luck with the Clomid! I just finished my first round this cycle. FX for your BFP!

    Hi!! nice to meet you :) I am on my third Clomid cycle. Best of luck-- how are you finding it so far? My first cycle I was a little anxious but this time around I am feeling if anything a little short tempered but pretty normal considering.  :)  my plan is also to try about 3 rounds (I'll give it one more shot I think after this because my second Clomid cycle I missed my IUI because I had to travel for work!! :( )
    Me-31- DH- 41 -Moved to New York* TTC since August 2011, unexplained IF & PCOS HSG - both tubes clear Saline Ultrasound- clear SA- Normal January 2013- Started metformin 1500mg attempting micro IVF 2/8/2013 2/8/2013 Cycle- ganirelix, menopur, gonal F 3/3/2013- ER- 7 Eggs 3/4/2013- All 7 fertilize 3/8- ET
    TTC Again since 8/16/2014- 3rd Clomid Cycle with IUI  starts 8/18

    @CWFarmGurl welcome to the board, hope your stay is short here. Is your doctor monitoring you on Clomid? I only ask because many OB's prescribe Clomid and don't monitor at all/appropriately.  When I'm on Clomid with my RE, I have multiple ultrasounds to confirm follicle number & size. I had 4 ultrasounds this cycle. If your OB isn't going to monitor you, I would seriously move over to the RE sooner.

    July 2016: Testing cycle with 100 mg Clomid = BFN
    August 2016: 50 mg Clomid + IUI = BFN
    October 2016: IVF#1 - 13 retrieved / 12 mature /  9 fertilized / 2 blasts
    November 2016: FET#1 = chemical
    January 2017: FET#2 = chemical
    March 2017: IVF#2 - 18 retrieved / 18 mature / 16 fertilized / 5 blasts
    April 24, 2017: FET#3 - BFN
    May 24, 2017: FET#4 - BFP! - Beta #1 151 - Beta #2 503 - Due date 2/9/18
