Far back uterus

We went in for a 10 week heartbeat check today and had a bit of a scare that led to us having a full ultrasound. All is well and we even saw baby moving and kicking like crazy. To my surprise though, the U/S tech said she had "never seen a uterus so far back near the spine" before. 

That was never once mentioned to me while pregnant with my daughter. I was so relieved that baby was fine that I didn't think to ask what this meant or if it even meant anything at all. Has anyone else been told something similar?

    Yep. Had an u/s yesterday at 9w5d and couldn't see anything really via abdominal - only transvaginal. It should straighten itself out in early 2nd tri.
