My PM and I have been trying to get together for lunch for a few months now. Every time we schedule something, the day arrives and she bumps it. Today was another failed attempt. My feelz are starting to hurtz.

A mother effing bear got into my effing trash! Those who aren't familiar with this process they pull the bags out and drag them into the woods. This leaves a lovely trail of trash, which this guy also shit on his trail. I was going for a walk and had to park the stroller in the driving and go galavanting through the woods, gagging while picking up nasty old trash. Why did he have to do this when DH was out of town?!?

Outside of Seattle. Lots of bears around here, especially because there are salmon in the river that snakes through out neighborhood

@meq124 I know this is terrible but im trying to imagine this and its kind of funny (the bear part, not u picking up trash part) We don't have bears in texas. I think at worse once a coyote went through our neighbors trash once. bobcats do it often too I think.

@mrsyimster I just looked it up, that's awesome!! Funny thing is I got pissed at my dogs for running off this morning when I let them out this morning. Come to realize they smelled a bear and were trying to figure it out. Oops.

There have been tornado sightings in my area. I am seeing pictures of homes, buildings, and streets torn apart. Our area hasn't had a tornado since the 70s so everyone is freaking out. I just put DD3 to bed in her crib upstairs and I am stressing about waking her up. Fortunately, I am like 20 mins from the nearest noted storm so I guess I am safe but still so nervous!

@meq124 One of my friend's moms works for the Fish & Wildlife Service in California. There was some bear down here who became famous for hanging out in people's pools and stuff, to the point that someone even wrote a children's book about him. (I wish I could remember the bear's name! Google didn't help.) My friend's mom, who had to report to all those houses and continually drive him away to make sure people were safe, said she hated him. She was so tired of the effort he took to maintain... plus, one of the times that she tranquilized him and carted him back into the forest in her truck, he pooped out a bunch of Taco Bell wrappers in his sleep! I remember that image vividly only because she said "the children's book illustrator forgot to include that little detail."
