Rants/Raves/Questions? I found out over the weekend that one of my best friends from high school is pregnant with TWINS and is due at the end of March!!!!!!!

GTKY: What is your go-to song for Karaoke night? I am irrationally terrified of singing in public. I have quite literally never participated in Karaoke. I am not a shy person at all, so this always shocks everyone. I just can't do it. Public speaking, all day every day no problem. Singing with an audience? NO.
How far along are you? 12 weeks (but per my last scan I'm 12 weeks 4 days but will stay here because the Tuesday ticker peeps are the best!)
How big is baby? Plum
Upcoming appointments this week? Had my NT scan yesterday, next OB appointment in 2 weeks
Any new symptoms or changes? Starting to get headaches but trying to avoid taking tylenol if I can help it. Still with bloat, sore boobs and morning sickness not gone yet unfortunately!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Told my 2 best friends that I'm pregnant and will be telling my In laws this weekend. Hope to find out the sex next week (did the NIPT) and if so we are going to do a little gender reveal at my parent's house over Labor Day weekend. Its weird to finally allow myself to be excited now that everything has been going well so far. I've been scared and anxious this entire pregnancy and I've realized its really taken the joy out of my experience. I'm going to try really hard from now on to kick PGAL brain to the curb.

GTKY: What is your go-to song for Karaoke night? I haven't sang Karaoke in a long time, I usually sing in groups but don't really have a go-to song...whatever the majority wants to do I'm usually down.
My due date changed at my first ultrasound so I'm with the Tuesday group now

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new. Still super sore boobs when I sleep.
Rants/Raves/Questions? We bought a doppler and I LOVE it!! Well worth the $40.

@OctoberLove13 I'm so jealous that you're able to make your doppler work. I bought one too and still can't find a damn thing. I'd be stressing more if my OB was able to find it last week but she couldn't either so oh well.

Any new symptoms or changes? Umm yes. This last weekend/week has sucked. Nauseous, headache, not feeling good at all! So tired all the time but that's not new.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just generally feeling blah. Luckily DH and I both have off for a week at the end of this week and my birthday is Thursday so I hope to be feeling better by then! I definitely don't want to spend my whole vacation being a bump on the couch
But we are redoing the floors in what will be the nursery while we are off so that will be fun! Then we can start getting things going in there 
I also took my first "bump" picture with a chalk board for 10 weeks. I feel like these days I'm just in that weird place where I don't really feel pregnant because the shock and excitement of the tests have worn off, but my body hasn't changed yet. Oh well, gotta keep trucking along! Praying everything looks great at our ultra sound next Wednesday!

@Spartanrd4 That's amazing that you are finally able to start enjoying yourself! I can't imagine how hard that must be and the anxiety that comes with PGAL. Also, maternity jeans, yessssss!

Any new symptoms or changes? Yup. @Schumerator, you and I aren't only date twins, we appear to be symptom twins. Woke up this morning & was hit w/a tidal wave of nausea. Been texting w/my SIL asking for tips. Got down half a sleeve of Saltines and a bit of coffee. Ugh. And I got that headache too. I've had it before in 1st tri, it comes and goes. It's here today. Also my boobs look like someone inflated them but feel like someone punched them. I'm working in my home office today (which means I'm on TB, watching LMN on the couch).
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really either but I've been thinking about saving all the funny quotes I see on here and from my "real talk" gfs and making it into a book to make people like me (who don't view this time as one where I'm twirling in a meadow wearing a flower crown surrounded by butterflies) feel better about our situation.
Semi-rant: I'm really missing Louisiana right now. This is the longest I've been w/o going down and I'm so homesick. Semi-rave: considering Santorini for a babymoon in 2nd tri.

ETA another new symptom. Has anyone gotten the shakes with MS? I'm shaking right now and feeling really strange. going to try to get some chicken noodles in but my hands/legs are shaking. Not terribly, but noticeably.

Upcoming appointments this week? next wed- i see my mfm for the NT scan, then my ob, hoping for an early possible gender view!! i just can't wait to see those babies again!
Any new symptoms or changes? morning sickness has gotten worse, and has been lasting all day, i've been having some crazy migraine aura's that have gotten worse, and i had a swelling scare yesterday, but feeling better in that regard today! I know i need to up my water intake but i can hardly stomach it right now to drink it
Rants/Raves/Questions? pumpkin spice season is almost here, it was actually in the 40's here this morning and i wore a sweater to work today...I am a happy girl!

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my NT scan yesterday. I go back in two week to get the results and see my OB.
Any new symptoms or changes? dull headaches in the back of my head. Of course this starts up as soon as my nausea begins to subside
Rants/Raves/Questions? My rant is that I am hating the new thebump.com - before they updated it I would have a personalized home page that told me how far along I am and how big baby is and would give me a link directly to this birth month message board. Now when I log in it's just so generic.
My rave is that my NT scan was absolutely awesome yesterday. What looked like a blob 4 weeks ago actually looks like a baby now! He or she was moving their arms and legs around too, it was so amazing to see. I am in awe that all of this is going on inside of me
GTKY: What is your go-to song for Karaoke night? Alone by Heart. I love, love, love karaoke and whenever I go out with friends for karaoke night that's always my "opener"

Any new symptoms or changes? I got a cold this past week and I think I am over it, but it is hard to tell. Still really congested and tired but those are both pregnancy symptoms too, so who knows.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really, other than I am getting more freaked out every day. I am terrified I am going to screw this whole parenting thing up.

Any new symptoms or changes? The sensation of a nugget in my lower abdomen is a lot more persistent this week, particularly when my pants are a bit snug!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just want my NT scan to go well next week! I want, more than anything, to have a successful pregnancy, carry to term, and have a healthy baby. I mean, I know we all want that, but that's just what's on my mind the most. DH and I are SO close to announcing, like we were last pregnancy. I'm terrified we'll have to keep mum yet again due to a loss.
GTKY: What is your go-to song for Karaoke night? I don't do Karaoke, although I love belting out Jewel and Les Miserables to my cats when no one else is home!

Any new symptoms or changes? more bloated, crazier dreams, still hungry all the time
Rants/Raves/Questions? so most things I've read say you "should" only gain 3-4 lb in the 1st trimester. I still have over 4 weeks left in the 1st and I've already gained 5-6 so I'm guessing at this rate I'll probably gain at least 10 by the time I hit the 2nd trimester. I don't count calories in anything but I know for sure I've been eating way more than 300 extra cal/day...but I'm growing a baby in me so yea, I'm gonna eat if I'm hungry!
GTKY: What is your go-to song for Karaoke night? hm the last time I did Karaoke was with a group about 8 years ago and I think we attempted to sing Livin' on a prayer... I don't think I'll ever be doing Karaoke again but if I absolutely had to I'd probably pick the same song haha
