    What is your health/nutrition goal this week?  More whole foods, less sweets and processed stuff.

    What is your fitness goal this week?  Be active 3-4 days. Plan to either walk on our treadmill or continue with Country Heat videos. I am sticking to home workouts until after Labor Day, when my regular Zumba instructor is every Monday instead of EO week, so it's easier just not going than to remember when he's there and not there (I do not like the other instructor). I NEED to stay active.

    Any challenges this week? I was going to work out immediately after my appointment tomorrow once I got home, but now we're picking up our youngest nephew from daycare and watching him for a few hours, while SIL/hubby/older nephew go to Back-to-School Night. It's supposed to be in the 90's, so we'll probably let him pick a movie and keep it pretty chill inside... so I won't be working out tomorrow. I should have no problem getting other days in this week (today, after my facial after work, Wednesday, Thursday and aiming for Saturday morning pre-tailgating for the first college football game of the year by my alum NDSU - which will be on ESPN  at 6:30!).

    How did you do with your goals last week?  Alright. I skipped one day of planned workouts cos I was just tired when I got home after work. So, 2 days, out of the really planned 3.

    GTKY:  Now that summer is winding to a close for most of us, what will you miss the most? The sun being out longer. I feel it makes the evenings last longer if we're out doing something.

  • What is your health/nutrition goal this week?  
    The usual - Keep up the generally healthy diet. 

    What is your fitness goal this week?  
    The usual - Do anything. Try to move your body around 3-5 days a week.

    Any challenges this week?  
    The usual - baby, job, energy, life...

    How did you do with your goals last week?  
    Pretty well! I have been pretty sick with a cold and terrible chest cough, but it didn't knock me too far back. Sunday - I ran despite the cold; Monday and Tuesday - rest; Wednesday - Lower body workout and walk; Thursday - Upper body workout; Friday - 1 mile walk; Saturday - I was at a CEU event all day but stood in the back for several hours, during which I did calf raises and squeezed my butt. Does that count? It should. My butt was sore the next day. This Sunday - I did a pregnancy yoga strength workout and went for a long walk.

    GTKY:  Now that summer is winding to a close for most of us, what will you miss the most? 
    Nothing. Summer is my least favorite season. Give me all of the others.

  • What is your health/nutrition goal this week?  
    I'm going to keep it simple this week: Stop eating before I get too full.
    What is your fitness goal this week?  
    A little lighter this week due to a scrambled schedule: Mon - "off" though I've run a ton of errands and had to sling groceries and boxes and a toddler and am EXHAUSTED. Tues - swim. Wed - Elliptical and strength. Thurs - stretch and strength. Fri - yoga. Sat - off. Sun - swim.
    Any challenges this week?  
    new schedule for the family with the start of school. Shouldn't be too problematic though.
    How did you do with your goals last week?  
    Nutrition: No comment. Fitness: good - I had to swap things around a little due to my tendon being too inflamed but it worked out
    GTKY:  Now that summer is winding to a close for most of us, what will you miss the most? 
    Well I am just so focused on time passing til I'm no longer pregnant that I am having a hard time thinking of an answer. Our trip to new england was so awesome. I'd like to still be back there...

  • What is your health/nutrition goal this week?   To NOT eat like absolute crap like I did all week last week. I did great at breakfast and lunch each day, and then it just went downhill from there for the rest of the day. Felt like I could just not eat enough for some reason, and unfortunately that meant I started eating junk in the evenings. So my goal for this week is to stick to healthy foods Mon-Fri, and save the splurges for Saturday.

    What is your fitness goal this week?  4x elliptical, even if it's super low resistance, and 4x strength training.

    Any challenges this week?  Nothing unusual.

    How did you do with your goals last week?  Terrible (see above re: poor eating choices last week). I didn't exercise either, so back on the train with that this week. Does anyone else have weeks like that - where are your goals just go out the window, and at the end of the week you sit there and think "What the hell did I do this week?"

    GTKY:  Now that summer is winding to a close for most of us, what will you miss the most? Nada - I am over the heat, humidity and mosquitoes, ready for fall and winter! Although, I live in Texas, so I don't really get fall and winter. ;-)

    Any challenges this week? Just slowing down, really. I really, really did not want to get out of bed at 4:40 for this morning's class, but I DID and it sucked, but it's DONE!

    GTKY:  Now that summer is winding to a close for most of us, what will you miss the most? I tell you what I won't miss is this Vegas heat. Seriously. Is there anything miss-worthy about summer here?

    How did you do with your goals last week?  Poor as far as eating healthily, but I did meet my fitness goal.

  • ugh. In my head I'm like... you don't need to swim today. Just relax. Eat goodies. But then I'm like... NO. I told my BMB fitness thread that I am going to swim today. I must uphold that. So... off I go to swim.
