How far along are you? 16 weeks

How big is baby? An avocado

Appointments this week? I have a quick 4-week checkup tomorrow morning. Yay heartbeat time!

Symptom changes? Again, I'm a jerk, but I'm feeling pretty good. I will get lightheaded if I let myself get too hungry though.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Not today.

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant or type of restaurant There's this amazing restaurant in my city that does small plate seafood and pasta and has a wonderful wine list. We went there the other day and it was to die for.

Symptom changes? The nausea has subsided, but it's still there. Still no appetite.

How far along are you? 14 weeks - second tri! I can't believe it....

How big is baby? A peach!

Appointments this week? None this week.

Symptom changes? This acne can calm the F down now. Also it sucks that I can't work out like I want to. Because of all the extra blood pumping through my heart, I get tired way easier now. Walking up 4 flights of stairs gets me winded. That can chill too.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Can I rave about my fiancé? He has been, I feel like, going above and beyond and just so great to me during this pregnancy. Like last night, I was so happy that I thought I found an acne wash that was safe (it was Burts Bees after all) but it turns out there's salicylic acid in from willow bark extract. I cried for a minute. He then spent the next half and hour online researching a cleanser that was effective and safe for pregnancy. Friday I casually texted him saying brownies sounded amazing and he came home with some. I've been saying thank you

...and buying him beers.

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant or type of restaurant? I love a good local burger place. Somewhere I can get an awesome and different burger and a phenomenal beer.

EDIT because I forgot my trimesters changed too!

Symptom changes? I've puked every night this weekend and I've lost 8 pounds so that's fun...

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm trying to eat but either nothing sounds good or when I do try to eat a meal I feel full really fast and can't eat very much. It's driving me crazy!

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant or type of restaurant? Anything that has good food! I like to try new places that I've heard good things about.

Appointments this week? No... But, I'll be calling daily to get my Maternit21 results (it's been over two weeks!).

Symptom changes? Still tired, but it's becoming a lot better. Super emotional. If I don't tear up on my way to work thinking about something baby related, it's a miracle. Also, I am out of breath so easy these days; it makes sitting on the couch so appealing.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel like my belly popped suddenly over the weekend. Before, I could still get by with most of my t-shirts, just looking a little bloated. Now, hiding the bump is nearly impossible. I can't wait much longer to tell people; it's driving me crazy.

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant or type of restaurant? For everyday, there is this great burger chain, Burgatory, that has the most amazing build-your-own burgers, milkshakes (which can be made alcoholic) and seasonal mojitos. For fancier dinners, my absolute favorite place is called Eleven. It's categorized as "modern American fare" and is seriously the best food I've ever eaten (and, they do Sunday brunch!).

Symptom changes?
Morning sickness has been very bipolar. Either I'm feeling good, even enough to do Zumba or, like Friday night, I can't stop vomiting.

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant or type of restaurant? Our family loves Mexican food. It's always a winner. Especially with basically free apps (chips and salsa).
