This is going to be the dumbest post ever so beware. This girl that I vaguely know through DH's family asked me for help to get a job at my old work. Well I vouched for her to my old boss, helped her with her resume and practiced the interviews with her. This was last month. Today I noticed that she deleted me off facebook. I'm so offended. I know, I know, it's facebook plus who cares!? This girl isn't really a friend of mine. I just feel oddly enraged about this.

I've had a wicked nasty cold for a week now. I don't have the list of OB approved meds from my last pregnancy so I was just going off memory about what I could take. Friday, I'd had enough and I needed something. I thought I'd remembered from last time that Sudafed was fine as long as it wasn't the kind from behind the pharmacy counter so my fiance went and got some for me. He then kept telling me, "I don't remember you saying you could have this. I'm just being cautious. I don't want anything bad to happen to the baby." It really pissed me off because the implication is that I don't care what happens to the baby. Grrr. So it turns out, though, that I wasn't supposed to take the Sudafed, but it was only 24 hours so I doubt it did too much, if any, damage.

@DrillSergeantCat it's on my list of ok things to take, as well as an email from my nurse at my RE's office- they just suggest not longer than a week, you should be fine! hope you're feeling better!

@jessjoelmasse I had something relatively similar happen to me. A girl who is friends with my friends hosted a Pure Romance party, and she friended us all on FB. Several months later, she deleted me and presumably a few others who'd attended the party. Now, she's suddenly inviting me to infertility awareness events due to her personal struggles. I totally feel for her, do realize this. Infertility sucks, and I don't wish it upon my worst enemy. I just feel weirded out that she adds and deletes FB friends casually and then asks these same peeps to help her with a personal cause.

On principle I want to help, but at the same time, I don't really feel obligated...

I'm bitching because I'm going to be on vacation all next week (YAY) buuut that means I have to do some serioussss work this week to make sure I'm super caught up and don't feel stressed about work while I'm gone! Which means less bump time. Booooo

@dubcompanion I totally get where you are coming from. I see that you have a lot of compassion for that pain so I would understand you supporting her but I don't think yoy are obliged in any way. That's tough though!

@MrsNap_515 THANK YOU!!! That makes me feel much better! It was literally only 24 hours that I took it. I feel better in some ways and worse in others. The cold is making its way down into my chest so I'm going to be barking alll day. I snuck out of the house last night to get some cough medicine (talked to the pharmacist before I bought) and was able to sleep but got the "I don't remember you being able to take this" speech again. I swear if I hear that one more time I'm going to slap his balls.

@DrillSergeantCat you can also take regular Robitussin (not the DM one) and the tylenol cold products too I believe, but double check, I don't have my list in front of me, I hope you get some relief!! it's definitely stressful!! I had a bad cold for 2 weeks recently, and was freaking out, but my nurses are awesome, maybe contact your nurse at your ob office too to get some reassurance for you (& him) lol

See the list I found online said that DM cough medicine is okay. I'm awaiting a call from my OB nurse for another question, so I'll add this one to the list.

I was selling a pair of shoes on "Let Go". Granted, I should never have responded at all, and should have just blocked him but I have zero patience for online creepers and inappropriate behavior & was annoyed. Next time, I'll just ignore and block, but I love that this loser actually blocked me. Seriously, who raises these cretins?

Maybe less drunk and more "unhinged, bitter, classless piece of loser garbage", but yeah, could also be drunk. Haha

I don't understand what motivates these losers. I guess they are emboldened by anonymity but like H said, "Do these guys actually think a girl is going to respond with, 'hey thanks! want to get together and bang?'" Honestly, wtf.

my bitch is that I work in higher ed, and our school doesn't adhere to normal collegiate schedules, we are running all year long, except over summer we have 6 weeks of "down time" with no students, so most staff/faculty take vacations, and the academic staff don't report, my office is essential, so we are here all break, and most of the stuff I have to do involves interaction with the academic deans/staff, and I'm so freaking annoyed of not getting answers on things I'm working on because they're all off enjoying their vacation

Aside from being mad that its Monday (they really are horrible) I'm also pissed because my 1st ultrasound is not until October 11th. I feel like so many people have already had an ultrasound and here's little ole me over here just waiting and waiting. Agh.
I've been feeling very stabby lately. I think I need a pedicure and some chocolate. That might help

@onefootinthebayou maybe that's how you should respond to the creepers someday...they'll be so thrown off they'll be speechless. Or you just throw their random gibberish back at them and block them too.

@pinnerk pedi and chocolate sound like the perfect fix! Sorry you have to wait so long to get your first US. On the plus side, that should mean that nothing is wrong that they want to get you in earlier than they normally do them!
