Pickled eggs. Don't hate. At my last job (same employer) I sat between two very old guys. One used to bring pickled eggs and wanted someone to share them with. I was just being nice when I was like "ooo sounds good!" and then he started bringing them for me. He'd switch around the recipes and experiment and in turn, I would write up flowery culinary reviews.
Well now I think pickled eggs are delicious. Because they are. But I moved cubes and lost my supplier. So I made them for the first time myself.
Just... cheese. I want to have it all the time. I'm obsessed with it. I wake up thinking about it, I think about it all day long. I'm thinking about it right now. Trader Joe's has this cubed cheese that's english cheddar with a bit of a crunch inside they sample out on Saturdays - I'm gonna buy a block of it soon, even if it is $6. The Palmetto pimento cheese from Sprouts for $6 that I've been eyeing is probably going to happen soon. Then I'll probably buy some of that goat cheese that lady was pan frying at Whole Foods and sampling out with a fig spread. It'll cost a billion dollars, I'm sure. Not to mention that I miss blue cheese, gorgonzola, brie, and feta. Yesterday I went to Pieology and had a pizza made with parmesan, ricotta, and mozzarella. I don't discriminate either - nacho cheese is also bae.
I'm trying so hard to be healthy, but cheese, man. The fantasies.
So much peanut butter! Which is kind of weird because it was a pretty strong aversion in the first trimester, but not anymore! Apple? Needs peanut butter. Banana? Throw some peanut butter on it! Rice cake/bread/cracker? I'll be damned if I'm eating that without peanut butter and a little bit of jelly!
@cayaylonglegs I had a craving for soup last week. It's still in the high 90s here so I had to drink two whole things of ice water with it so I didn't sweat to death lol

My mom made tacos for lunch and dark chocolate brownies for lunch dessert....well, she sent us home with all the leftover brownies. So yeah...I'm eating brownies.
Have you ever had a craving for something you've never eaten? I really want to try soup dumplings. I keep seeing them places and then I spend even more time thinking about them. I even looked up a blog post about the best restaurant to try them near me with an explanation on how to eat them. For all I know, I could hate them, and yet here I am dreaming about a dumpling I've never tried.
-Peaches -York peppermint patties in the fridge -cereal -Vanilla bean ice cream covered in gummi bears -english muffins -and pretty much any dish made with ground beef and/or pasta.
@caseyewhitaker In my 1st trimester I really wanted White Castle (which I have never eaten or even really thought about in my life since I live in the West) when traveling East last month to see in-laws I made DH stop and get me a little slider burger and was highly disappointed. Hopefully your dumplings are more satisfying!
I just spent my 2 year Olds whole nap time making 3 different freezer meal recipes. Each recipe made an 8x8 dish, 4x8 dish, and 2.5x8 dish. My feet hurt from standing so I go to sit down, and my kid wakes up.
Still so obsessed with PB&J sandwiches. But today went to Bahama Breeze and had their shrimp and lobster linguine. So good!! Then I fell asleep at my parents house so we stayed for dinner. Chinese, shrimp and broccoli with white rice. So full....and I was supposed to make chicken teriyaki for dinner. Oh well, crock pot tomorrow then. So many leftovers....

I am loving cheese too!!! But just because it's soft, doesn't mean you can't eat it! Just an FYI, if it's pasteurized- you are good to go! And most of Trader Joe's cheese is!!! Read that label, it'll tell ya, and eat your pasteurized cheese!
Since I got pregnant, I've been obsessed with buffalo chicken wings. I limit my intake though. I've been eating large amounts of cheese, trader joes has this garlic n herb Brie (it's pasteurized, no need to worry!) and I go through it like mad. I even hide it from DH. But last night I really wanted sushi, so I got out my nori and made some veggie sushi. It was da bomb. I also had these trader joes shrimp nuggets that my kids love, they taste like a dim sum dish that I like. I have some soba noodles I really want to eat, but struggle to make good soba noodles. Even worse, we got a gift card to Cheesecake, and I looked up te best dishes there. I was hoping to try somethings new because I always get the chicken bellagio, it's so good. Can you tell I've been obsessing over food??? My kids are gone this week so I get to eat whatever I want without worrying if they'll be willing to eat it
And would you believe with all the leftovers I have in my fridge, the only thing I wanted for lunch today was...you guessed it...PB&J. This kid is going to come out as a PB&J sandwich, I swear! If I don't eat these leftovers DH will never let me live it down. I'm always on him when he doesn't eat his leftovers (mostly because I could have eaten them if he hadn't have told me No I'm going to eat it).

Goodbye eating well for the next month. We've got two-ish weeks left in this house. Most of the kitchen is packed, so no cooking. And trying to eat everything in the fridge so it doesn't go to waste. Then it's take out for days
I've been eating ice like crazy for the last week and wanting salt and vinegar chips and I'm usually not a big fan. I wanted macaroni and fried hot dogs...I've loved boiled peanuts from the beginning and now I'm loving burgers and fries and seriously craving a well done steak right about now with fries or baked potato.
This morning I was prepping a crockpot taco soup. Opened a can of beans and almost spilled my stomach beans everywhere! I had a crazy aversion reaction to the smell of the beans.
Now that I'm home from work and the soup has cooked together, it smells absolutely amazing. Was concerned my hard work (AKA not running out of the kitchen) this morning would have been for nothing.
And now I've made 10 breakfast burritos and 12 breakfast sandwiches for DH. They all have egg and I hate egg so they are all his. All the while I eat my smores pop tarts for breakfast.
DH cooked dinner tonight! So I ate tater tots and chicken nuggets. Someday I'll eat healthy.
So yeah, all those leftovers from Sunday are gone...baby was hungry is all I'm gonna say. Today all I want is a chicken Cesar salad from Wawa. I've been craving it for days now. I finally asked DH if I could get one for lunch today (he's the budgeter in the house, if I were in charge we'd be screwed), even bribed him with heating up the chicken teriyaki I made last night and delivering it to him at work. His response was We'll see. DAMMIT I WANT MY SALAD!!!!!! So I'm over here crying over that stupid salad wondering if I'll have to settle for mac n cheese (which also sounds really good now, but I want my salad).

Having finally kicked my main crave - loaded nachos (seriously, it was a 2-3 times a week delight) - I am down to the following routine must-haves:
- Kobe beef burgers. DH is a great grill master - Perdue's gluten-free chicken tenders. I'm not even GF but like the way these taste vs the normal breaded kind. - Otherwise I want my chicken shredded. And only shredded. Go figure. - PB&J FTW. Actually PB in general. - Fresh cut cantaloupe - Popcorn. Have y'all tried skinny pop? OMG. - Waffles or pancakes. They're frozen, they're blueberry, and hey at least they're whole grain! We also use real maple syrup because we avoid HFCS as much as possible. - CHEESE. ALL THE CHEESE. - BUTTER. SLURP. - Cereal. I mean wtf. I am going to have to put myself on cereal restriction. Lately it's been Raisin Bran or Trix. - Sugar. I am really trying hard at this. I'm not reaching for packaged junk at all (except cereal) but want homemade baked goods all. the. time.

@phoenix870509 So jealous, lobster is my fave! At this point I pretty much only get it for my birthday because it's so expensive down here.

I think that's the most of it. Oh food.
...and cantaloupe with cherries. I cannot get enough, ever.
