I was just completely overwhelmed by my first trip to Ikea and BuyBuyBaby. There was so much stuff! Good news is we picked a wardrobe and some storage and the nursery is nearly complete!

Ran around town with DH hunting Pokémon! We found a sweet outfit for Ashton, and then we hit up Sweet Frog...I got all the candy fixin's on mine.
Now that I'm home, I successfully made a meal plan for the week! DH starts his hardest semester tomorrow--this is the beginning of our whirlwind schedule until it's baby time! :O
We went out to brunch and then DH did work and then watched the Olympics. I sat and obsessed about the baby registry. Despite all the lists and recommendations, I still can't really figure it out. Did I register for enough bottles? Did I pick the right brand of XYZ? Do I need a baby motion monitor? Too much to figure out.
Had breakfast with Dh and cleaned the kitchen. And he put on a movie, but I fell asleep. Then I cleaned the floors downstairs. I'm pooped. Dh has been touching up the paint in L's room and gaming. It's kinda getting on my nerves today, I feel like he isn't helping. And if I ask he gets annoyed.
My Dad and step mom are coming to help Dh move L's dresser into the room. I'm hoping to get a few pieces of art up today once they are done.

I went to church this morning and bumped into some friends from a former small group who've just adopted a newborn with their brand new baby - he's 4 weeks old and so tiny. It really gave my pregnant self the feels. I'm so happy for them, they've wanted a baby forever. Now, I just want my baby full term and healthy right now, please.
Then I started trying to help my friend via text figure out baby shower logistics, which is complicated and awkward for a myriad of reasons. Turned into me having a cry or three. I'll go over to "why I'm crying" for that.
We had a dinner of veggie potstickers out a bag from Trader Joes because in spite of having plenty of real food in the house because I'm craving dumplings and that was the closest thing we had.
Now I'm sitting here winding down with the internet while DH plays Battlefield on the xbox.
I went through 4 trash bags of clothes a coworker gave me. Most of it the girls won't be able to use until they're 6 months old, but still, so many clothes!
Church this morning then DH and I failed at brunch so I ate the final third of leftover Chinese food, picked up a barely used RnP I found on swap, came home and passed out on the couch then took the kids for fro-yo and hit up the mall. Unfortunately now I'm icing my back and realizing I need to further adjust my activity expectations.
We were hoping to have some relax time, but we were so busy all day. We went furniture shopping, but got everything on our list..new table, guest bed, dresser for baby from Ikea. We also found a curtain solution for our master bedroom from Ikea, so when we got home we got those up. It was such a chore!! 10 ft tall Windows meant DH on the ladder and me endlessly handing him tools and dropped screws to hang the hardware, then him being annoyed at me for having him keep rearranging the panels. But it's done!
We went to ikea and got a comforter, duvet, and nightstand for the toddler's big boy room, a crib skirt and bandana bibs and wash cloths for the newb, and new lamps for ds and our bedroom. I can't believe little man is getting a twin bed and stuff soon and that we're starting the nursery in the next month or so. This is going too fast and I'll probably (read definitely) ugly cry when ds sleeps in his twin bed for the first time.
Also love registry stalking if anyone needs a stm opinion.
Our Sundays are very lazy... unless something has been planned in advance. I'll admit, I did my laundry, did some stuff on the computer (including ordering a BM dress for my sister's wedding next March), took a nap, and watched TV... so not much. DH finished clean up a stained bookshelf he worked on this week, and I was very proud of his work! It now matches the rest of the furniture in our basement (was a light wood color before, now is more of a walnut-ish).
I also spent last night debating if I wanted to register for a stroller/car seat travel system, or just do the convertible car seats and get a stroller attachment (Chicco brand for both), which saves some money and reviews (Amazon/Target) said they're much lighter/smaller for storage.
