Every time I get any cramping, tightening or painful sensation in my body I immediately think I'm going into labor and get excited only to tell myself there's no way it'll happen naturally about five minutes later. While I keep telling myself to resign to the fact it's not going to happen until I get induced in four days, I keep waking up thinking, "could today be the day?!" No. No it's not.
@JournoGrl23@katm89 Ditto. I was induced with DS1 so I have no idea what it's like to go into labor spontaneously. I also got my membranes swept on Wednesday (which I never had done with DS1 b/c I was never dilated) and had bloody show yesterday morning. So I am on the edge of my seat. It's such a huge mind game.
Right there with all of you ladies who are waiting.
I booked an induction massage for next Thursday in the middle of the afternoon, even though I am scheduled to work full time until the end of next week.
And even though I brought perfectly fine (healthy) leftovers from home for lunch, I went out and bought a junky lunch instead.
My FFFC: It bugs my Type A personality that some of you who have already had babies haven't updated your signature tickers. Because obviously that's really high on your priority list when you have a newborn.
I finally shaved my legs in what seems like years, but was only a month.
I also worked up the courage to put the estrogen cream down there. I was freaked out because of all the horrors I might encounter. Turns out, all the stitching doesn't seem too horrible.
So basically I am like a new woman.

FFFC : After I got the kids on the school bus and DH left for work, I went back to bed. It's now after 12 and I'm still in bed. The ONLY reason I am even contemplating getting up is because I have to pee. Oh, and I'm starving!
I'm slightly terrified of going into labor as ready as I am... Last time I got induced and it seems so much more comfortable for the control freak in me. But also the control freak wants to control her body and send it into labor...
I just found out DH has arranged a dinner & movie date night today. He asked baby's auntie to babysit.
As much as I'm nervous about leaving our 6 week old with someone else other than myself/DH, I am excited to have a night just to ourselves even for a few hrs. I know I'll be texting asking about baby A throughout the night though!

Oops, guilty! I actually forgot I have one, because I'm only ever on the mobile app. I'm writing this with no immediate intention to do anything about it though, because once I open my computer I will feel obligated to do some work emails, and I'm just not ready for that!
@Bookhousegirl Oh, I am sure the main reason is that most of us are on mobile. It's funny, 3 years ago when I was on a BMB for DS1, I never had the mobile app and we still did the monthly signature challenges. This time around, I can tell way more people only use mobile because I don't think this BMB has ever even brought up the idea of doing siggy challenges. (This time I am about 50/50 with laptop and mobile.)
@tisunge602 Siggies are annoying... I never did the challenges last time around and was actually pretty happy that they weren't pushed on this board. More avatars would have been nice, but otherwise its so much easier to not have all that mess!
Today I discovered some melted chocolate between my boobs and I'm thoroughly ashamed to admit that I'm honestly not sure how long it's been there. We are formula feeding so my boobs are currently the size of Texas and I don't touch them much.

I agree, they can be annoying, especially the humongous GIFs. I do like the tickers, though, so I can see how far along you are (or how old your kid is) without trying to remember details about everyone.
I guess my confession is I exclusively mobile bump. I've never had a problem with it and actually think the desktop version is really overwhelming. I'm also glad we didn't have siggy challenges because I would have had to log on once a month to do it. Ha. So I have no idea who has a ticker change, etc. and I think it makes everything look much cleaner.
I took my DS to 7-11 and we did bring your own cup day for slurpees. It was so good, I drank probably less than half of it. Now I feel sick....worth it lol
@AliKay20 have fun on your date! You deserve a night out!

Guilty of having not updated my ticker. I have no clue how to do it on the app though. But I am glad we never got into the siggies. While some of them are funny, it is a huge pain to scroll through.

I sat in the passenger seat for the first time since forever (still not okay with sitting in the front when baby's in the back)!
