WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, CoQ10, Mucinex, HIO EOD with preseed

R/R: I have been so busy that I feel like I hit a brick wall. So tired. So emotionally and physically drained. Right in time for FW. Oh and I have a freaking UTI.

CS/Q: So I think the Mucinex is working! I have some EWCM for the first time today and it was pretty cool to see results! I also took an OPK today and it was positive so I'm thinking I will O in the next day or so. I do have a question though... For you ladies who have ovulation pain, what exactly does it feel like? I'm having a fairly intense cramping type pain in my right lower abdomen/pelvis area. When I read about ovulation pain it didn't seem all that bad, but this is pretty uncomfortable.

GTKY: This hasn't been asked in a while, and it's one of my favorites!  What is your favorite tradition (family, holiday, something you do with friends, etc).
I LOVE Christmas! Like way too much. My favorite tradition is having Christmas morning at my Grandmother's house. She just turned 90 and I know that we wont have many more of these Christmases with her so the tradition has been even more special the past few years. (Wow, I feel like that was a run-on sentence, but my brain is mush from being in a continuing education conference all day).   Image result for elf gif

  • @rainbowturtles Aw, your family's Christmas Eve sounds like what w did for new years eve!  We woukd have "fancy appies" (olives, cheese, crackers, summer sausage etc.) and gingerale or sparkling cider to toast with, in fancy glasses - obv - when the ball dropped!

@shstephenson. Oh dear, yeah that RAD doesn't sound like a good thing.  I don't know, but I would definitely run that by your doctor... :/  not to scare you, I have no idea what it means, but I do hope everything's okay.  Any "O-pain" I've ever experienced personally has been so mild I might not have even noticed anything except if I am SSing pretty hard so I was looking for it, kwim?  God bless Grandma, too, btw!  :)
  • @BusinessWife yeah I'm thinking I'll be calling my doctor. I get UTIs a few times a year (mostly due to holding my pee/not drinking enough water) so it's definitely not my first rodeo. But I've never had this uncomfortable crampy feeling. It's not painful necessarily. Just... Uncomfortable. Thank you for the advice!

  • Ahhhh yes @BusinessWife I think we did that for New Years, too, back in the day....with sparkling apple juice :)

WAYDTGKU: I will be - PNVs, cinnamon, fish oil, probiotic, aspirin, green tea, royal jelly, preseed, temping/OPKs/charting, and visiting my amazing chiropractor often (I've read it can help with fertility but I don't know if that's true...for me it's more a de-stress and overall feeling of physical well-being).

R/R: I've been lazy this weekend but also not at a point in my cycle I'm too worried about it. On my probable last day of AF! Yay!  Seeing my gyn on September 15 for my first fertility consult... very excited and hopeful to get some answers. I tried to go when it had been a year but they said I was "too young to be worried" (I'm 26 and husband is 29) and to wait another 4-6 months and "just relax and don't stress about it". Now I'm kinda frustrated they talked me into waiting longer. Seeing a different doctor at the practice so hoping I receive more support/help.

CS/Q: Was I supposed to temp during AF? I'm planning on starting to temp and chart Monday, but wanted to know for future reference.

GTKY: What is your favorite tradition (family, holiday, something you do with friends, etc). Every Halloween, my husband and I get together with my parents and brother for "family night". When we were kids, we did this after trick or treating... we basically eat all our favorite junk food and watch scary movies into the wee hours of the morning. It's simple but so fun, I love it! We have been doing it for 18 years.

  • @shstephenson I had what I think was o-pain in my first two cycles tracking. My pain on my right was minor cramping/tenderness and I only noticed it during sex or when I rolled out of bed at a weird angle. My pain on my left was constant -- a lot like you described, cramping and tenderness concentrated in that area, very sore, lasted for about 36 hours. It kind of freaked me out. I'm going to ask my doctor about it when I eventually go in. (Note: I have endometriosis so I'm worried it's related to that.)

  • @kyersten  I temp all the time, but some women take a break from temping for AF, or even after they confim O!  Fo me, it would cause more anxiety to have these big holes in my chart, but if you start Monday you're totally good!  You just need to see enough pre-O temps to observe the clear shift.
  • Thank you @BusinessWife!!!
