Re: Where are you from?

  •  ADRIANAC1982- that is great reco! Glad you have had such a good experience. My biggest concern with FCI was the size and it sounds like FCI still gives you a very personal experience. I'm a big review person too, and found it hard to find a lot of reviews for most doctors, so that's why I had two consultations.

This is my first iui also, I test on 8/18 and these last few days are dragging on but the first week was the hardest as I questioned and googled everything I've felt. How is your TWW going?
  • @JAH87   I'm in Finneytown area. I'm suppose to test on the 27th, but i'll be in Myrtle Beach so I have to take a hpt and then we'll do the beta based on what the hpt said. I've been working a lot which is helping to get my mind off it. I'm trying not to get to excited or anixous because I don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't work this cycle. FX for BFP on Thursday for you!!

@SanBL and @mrswifeytoad, I know this message board is probably the farthest thing from your minds right now, but I just wanted to say I hope you, your families and your homes are ok and that everyone is in a safe dry place. Prayers and thoughts. I've seen so much heartbreak as I've been out and about the last few days.

  • Thanks @mmd1986 for asking! We got really lucky, our house didn't flood! We were at 2-3 feets to get water, so it was stressful! My ET was Monday, it almost got cancel because the embryologist was stuck 30 min away from the clinic and so many roads were closed!! That was so stressful. But at the end everything is fine, just a stressful couple of days!!!

That's just terrible what happened, so many people lost everything. We got lucky to be safe and dry, we will try to help others that didn't have our chance.
  • @JamieH2000  I like Generations fine, the nurses are very sweet and understanding, I wish my doctor was a bit more empathetic, but I will be seeing their younger doctor soon, so maybe she will be better.
I will like them a whole lot more if they manage to get me KU!

  • @LawDoll2014 - yea, they have an office on boylston street right in copley square. we live in east boston so it's easy for when both DH and i have to go to an appointment. the lab in reading is also convenient (more for me than dh cause he works 3 blocks from our condo!) cause it's quasi on the way to my office up in the beverly/peabody area...!

we've been working with her since around december/january. i really like her a lot. i can be picky with doctors - i have to have a gut feeling that i'm comfortable around them and all, lol - and i liked her right off the bat!

@kiwicutie01 I don't know if my RE has an office in Atlanta, but I think they have an office in north Georgia, maybe Dalton.  I love the doctors at Tennessee Reproductive Medicine.  It may be a bit far to drive since I think their main office is in Chattanooga.  I drive 2 hours, but they are so friendly.  I see the doctor every time I go for an u/s or blood work.  You won't be treated like cattle as some places do.
