Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby? Started to hang up more prints in the nursery. Mostly just preparing for the sex reveal party tomorrow!
Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms: I had the anatomy scan on Monday. Everything went pretty well, and the tech played along with us not wanting to know, but putting the information into an envelope for us. After work that day, I passed it off to a good friend of mine who is going to fill a huge balloon with confetti for the party.
When's your next appointment? September 13th.
GTKY: What is your favorite children's book that you can't wait to read to your little one? Probably "Love You Forever." It was one of my favorites that my mom read to me when I was little.

18 weeks today. I thought I was feeling some "flutters" last night but I couldn't tell. I really can't wait to feel him moving around in there.
Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby? We added a few more things to our registry and my in laws already bought the crib and dresser. They are a bit anxious!
Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms: This is definitely TMI, but is anyone experiencing a lot of discharge? I've noticed it more this week. Also (another TMI) it looks like my nipples are getting darker. Normal?

Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby? I started an Amazon registry and got a sweet baby box for doing so. I also orders stuff for my gender reveal next weekend.
Also, as I've mentioned a few times my mom passed away following a brief and brutal cancer battle when I was 6 wks pregnant so this week I finally started grief therapy. I'm hoping this will help me feel better mentally once the baby arrives and be able to focus on the pregnancy now. I'm fine day to day but it's been a bit tough preparing for being a mom, as it constantly reminds me that I don't have a mom (in this world)

@christineo36 I've definitely had a big increase in discharge, but nothing with my nipples. That doesn't sound too weird to me though!
Im still just tired all the time and so over it!

I have a scan a week from today!!! Cannot wait to find out the gender. Though a bit nervous about how everything is going.

How far along are you? What's new with your little babe? 20 weeks. Over halfway done now and can't believe it. I've been feeling lots of movement lately, especially from Baby B.

GTKY: What is your favorite children's book that you can't wait to read to your little one? I hope they like Dr. Suess' Sneeches on Beaches. I haven't read it to DS yet, but it was a favorite of mine growing up.
>16 weeks 3 days. Nothing really new; I feel flutters more frequently than before. I SWEAR I've been feeling them as early as in the 2nd month of pregnancy, but only here and there but everyone says its way too early to feel anything at that point.

>For 16 weeks and as a FTM that was overweight before getting pregnant, I'm HUGE. I'm showing like I'm a lot further along than I am. Friends and Family keep asking if I'm having twins (single baby so far)!! If I'm having twins, it'd be nice to know now so it would be easier to explain why I'm so big.
And at my last Doctor's appointment last week, I've actually lost some weight even though I'm not having any morning sickness. I know pregnant women tend to have a bigger appetite, but I feel like mine has decreased. I'm eating smaller meals than before because I feel full faster. Is anyone else experiencing this??
Also, apparently I have a Tilted Uterus that hasn't seemed to correct itself yet. I know the baby will ascend more in the 2nd trimester and it SHOULD correct, but most stuff I've read says it usually corrects itself by 10-12 weeks. The Doctor has not said much about it, so maybe it's nothing to worry about but I'm a really anxious person

17 weeks!! Baby is the size of a chipmunk! Haven't been in cell service for the other Friday ticker days so i haven't posted here in a while!

We did lots this week: started a Baby's-r-Us registry since I found out my family is throwing me a shower in like 2 weeks! (So early I know but they live so far away and it was the only time that worked...) Picked up a bunch of hand-me-downs from a friend (car seat, nursing pillow, breast pumps, baby swing) and did an IKEA trip to get some nursery stuff! Got a blue Raskog utility cart that I kept seeing on Pinterest. Going to use it for diapers/random stuff for nursery. Also bought my very first maternity clothes, FTM here and clothes are getting tight. The pants are SO comfortable; now I understand the love!! Thyme maternity in Canada gave me a bunch of freebies so that was nice. Also got lots of freebies with BRU registry.

Same as a PP, I'm hungry but not much room in stomach so I feel SO FULL all the time. Been having some headaches so trying to drink tons of water. Also having issues with sciatica from standing all day at work. Used to use the inversion table to help with it, but I've read it's not recommended for preggos...

Sept 2 for anatomy scan! It's been 1.5 months since last appt so the wait is killing me!! Then I finally get referred to an OB.

Heading to my hometown in 2 weeks, where I will raid my parent's house for all my old books! I used to love the Berenstain Bears, Robert Munsch & Fraggle Rock. Oh and down the road, Harry Potter & Charlotte's Web!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby? Husband started cleaning out the guest room to make room for a crib. Im glad there's still lots of time ahead, it'll take a while to clear up! We also started signing up for Kaiser's prenatal classes.
