Next appointments/milestones: Next appt Sept 6, I guess glucose after that.
Rant/rave: We bought our crib this week and unboxed the swing and little lounger. I've been working on crib accessories! Glad to be crafting again, and it feels more real when you start putting the stuff together!
Questions: Not this week.
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? I don't think I had a favorite. I particularly remember the Berenstain Bears, though.
Next appointments/milestones: I have just a regular OB appointment next week which will include out a/s follow up (although they told us everything looks fine). I suppose the next milestone would be viability at 24 weeks.
Rant/rave: Rave: I'm feeling more movement which is nice. We also ordered our crib so I'll be pretty excited to get that set up. Rant: We are driving from Ohio to Georgia this weekend to pick something up for my dad. I'm not looking forward to the countless hours in the car one bit...
Questions:
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? I remember really like Brown Bear, Brown Bear. I was also a fan of Dr. Suess.

Questions: none
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? Matilda!
Weeks: 21 weeks and 5 days Next appointments/milestones: I have an ob appointment this coming Tuesday Rant/rave: We're painting the nursery this weekend and I'm starting to buy more stuff like sheets, the rug, mobile, etc. I'm excited to get more things together and see everything happening Questions: Nothing today GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? I loved Where the Sidewalk Ends when I was in elementary school. I must have read that book dozens of times lol.
Next appointments/milestones: 24 week appointment Sept 7. We also hit viability that day!
Rant/rave: HR is bring really annoying about helping me figure out leave.
Rave: My new students are great. I have 4 classes of freshman and I just love them, they seem like a great group so far. My sophomore class contains about 15 kids that I had last year. They are crazy loud and the last class of the day. It's going to be rough considering there are 35 of them and 1 of me!
Questions: What are you ladies wearing in the way of shoes? I'm wearing open toe "flats" but they have a little heel since that's suppose to be better for back pain than completely flat shoes. However my legs are so sore by the end of the day and over night!
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? I have always been a big reader but right now I can't remember the name. It had to do with an otter and a statfish.

@ErikandAfton I'm pretty lucky as I just wear sneakers to work and then flats when I'm home doing some errands. Do you have gel inserts for your shoes? (is that possible with the shoes you wear?) Or would stretching be helpful in the morning?
Rant/rave: Going down the shore for 4 days starting tomorrow! Yay for beach all day and boardwalk food all night!
Questions: Nope
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? The Hobbit, definitely not a children's book but my dad started reading it to me when I was 5. I would follow along while he read, I learned to read and developed a love for reading.
Next appointments/milestones: just had my glucose test Thursday, they were supposed to call me yesterday.. I guess that means I passed?? Third trimester in two weeks...eeeek
Rant/rave: baby kicks are the sweetest thing, I know I have been raving over them for like 4 weeks now haha! DH has felt her kick him a handful of times now! Such an awesome feeling, @R0824H ! Rant: HR is so strict, they count the holiday week (which the company fully closed) as a maternity leave week...I was hoping I would get an extra week there!
Questions: @ErikandAfton, I wear some flats but try to change shoes everyday, I got some crocs that are black-looking flats (Lina Flat) -they are like walking on heaven, and they have a little heel/elevation. My mom also gave me her sandals, they tie up all the way to my ankle which provides support throughout the foot and also have a small platform heel.
GTKY: What was your favourite childhood book? my parents would read us the Aesop Fables (the kids version). I remember a few of the stories, the tortoise and the hare and the boy who cried wolf. I will get these again and re-read them with baby so excited!
