Whats going on this week? Appointments? We have friends staying with us this weekend. My next appt is 24 weeks. It's a boring one though (hopefully).

I think the magic of Simone Biles is incredibly impressive. I also am excited by Ledecky's amazing performances.

24 week appointment on Monday! Excitement. Doubt I'll get to see Squish but I'll get to hear that heartbeat again.

Rant - work sucks
Rave - Squish is getting stronger! I was laying on the couch the other night with my Gatorade bottle resting on my belly. Squish did not appreciate that apparently and kicked my stomach, knocking over the bottle! It was closed, thankfully, but DH looks up from his game and says "Was that the baby!?" Yup, it was. Little unappreciative brat!

Kim Rhodes winning her 6th consecutive medal. She has the most medals of any female shooter. I wanna be her when I grow up

Whats going on this week? Appointments? Earlier this week we had our a/s. Next week I have an OB checkup.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: This week I have been getting increasingly annoyed with my coworker who sits next to me. Her personal life, marriage, and family life are a mess yet every day she feels the need to give me some sort of advice or a story with "wait to you have kids". I brush it off, don't give her the attention, and respond with a sort of "thanks, but we'll do things our way" shutdown. It doesn't work. She still continues and then when I try my best to ignore her I get "are you ok, are you mad, what's wrong, you're quiet". I can't win! Any advice? She's driving me insane and I know it's only going to get worse once the baby is actually here!
GTKY: What has been your favorite Olympic moment from this year? If you haven't paid attention this year, what's your favorite past Olympic moment? Watching MP's last interview when he was all done and getting teary eyed and emotional was something that stuck out since I grew up watching him rise to fame. I also enjoy the heart warming stories like the two runners that tripped and helped each other. I was happy to see they made it back to the finals. Lastly, Lily King's shade and that rivalry was pretty interesting to watch.

Rants/Raves/Questions? ugh. last big work trip starts Sunday and will be a bear - 6 flights in 5 days = blech! buy hooray, baby is moving a lot this last week and my hubby got to feel her for the first time last week, so that was exciting!

How big is baby?
Cantelope. Apparently "big" according to the midwife at my practice since my belly is measuring 25cm. I measured 3-4 over with DD as well...and she was a whopping 6lb1oz when she was born...so I'm not buying it.
Whats going on this week? Appointments?
Appointment today. Things are fine. Apparently I'm a freak since I'm measuring ahead but have not gained much weight. At least this time the midwife was happy I've gained something. Besides that, our bathroom remodel is in the super dirty phase with jackhammers and dust everywhere. That's fun.

nothing yet but I'm looking forward to the men's marathon. Hoping galen Rupp has a good race.
How big is baby? Cauliflower. My belly feels huge.
Whats going on this week? Appointments? Nothing until my GTT test until the 31st. I don't know why but I'm kind of nervous about it. I don't think I'm high risk but I'm just feeling weird about it for some reason.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I broke down and did a little shopping for maternity clothes. I know its stupid to waste money on temporary clothes... But honestly they are way more flattering on my body and for me it's a small splurge well spent. I got some good deals. It's the little things.
