What size is baby? A winter melon...? What an obscure comparison, haha.
Upcoming appointments? Had one yesterday that included a growth ultrasound...next appointment next Wed (if baby hasn't been born yet) will include an NST to make sure baby is still looking good despite my unusually high fluid levels.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant turned Rave - Came into work early this morning for a full day (7:30am-5:30pm) meeting. Got here and all of the systems were down, including Outlook so I couldn't find which conference room to go to. Ended up walking all over Timbuktu (I work in a HUGE corporate office) searching it. The only thing that was incentivizing me to come was breakfast...I was so afraid I would miss it because I was so late by the time I found the room. (Luckily, I was still able to eat.) BUT I was also severely underdressed - men in ties and blazers and my own VP in slacks and a button-down when I've NEVER before seen him in anything other than jeans. Here I am in jeans and sandals (because my feet won't fit into anything else anymore) and feeling totally out of place. Then, the conference starts and so do contractions. Mild, but every 15ish minutes. And my feet are swelling so much they're bulging out of my strappy sandals. I have a mild headache and just general disease (you know, from sitting in an uncomfortable office chair at basically 9 months pregnant.) This is where it turns rave - my boss finally arrived, took one look at me and started prodding. All she had to hear was the word "contractions" (even though I assured her they were mild, far apart and potentially nothing) and she told me I could be excused from the rest of the meeting. Halleluiah.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Swelling is suddenly out of control!! Other than that, feeling about as good as can be expected!

I don't expect there to be much more time between now and baby's arrival so things are pretty low-key with me. But DH and I celebrate our 8th anniversary on Monday so my Mom is coming down tomorrow to watch DD so we can go to dinner and a movie - our last date for a while, I'm thinking! Even though it's small, I'm really looking forward to it and just hope baby holds out long enough for us to enjoy it!
What size is baby? a ukulele
Upcoming appointments? Last OB appointment tomorrow with hopefully just an NST. We are inducing on Sunday night due to failed NST's since about 35 1/2 weeks. Hope this induction is as smooth as DS's. With him I just had cytotec, water broke on its own and labor was only about 8 hours. Probably won't get that lucky, but hey a girl can dream right?
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just trying to get through my insane list of to do's with not much time to get it done.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Same issues as most weeks...back and tailbone constantly hurt and lots of heartburn. Few more days...just a few more days lol

We are hoping to take DS to the zoo Sunday morning/afternoon before I get checked in to the hospital that evening. My parents are watching him while we are at the hospital and the zoo is about halfway between our house and theirs. I might be nuts trying to do all that walking but I have a feeling I'll be hooked up for a lot of monitoring during my induction so I don't want to sit around all day and then be strapped to the hospital bed most of the delivery.

What size is baby? Estimated at 6 lbs 11 oz at my growth scan this morning. That is about 70th percentile.
Upcoming appointments? Had an appt with growth scan this morning. Go back in 1 week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Growth scan went great. Baby measured at 6lbs 11oz. If she gains 1/2 pound/week over the next 4 weeks, her full term weight will be 8lbs 11oz - nearly a full pound less than my son. So the doctors don't see the need for any size related interventions. I also had my cervix checked (since I had to undress for the GBS test anyway) and I am at 1 cm and 50% effaced. Things are great!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Feeling fine outside of the normal late pregnancy discomfort.

Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Swelling, ridiculous pelvic and back pain, heartburn. Basically everything hurts.

I can hardly walk these days, and school is back in session for my kiddos so our busy summer days are pretty much done with. We are taking a trip to the beach this weekend which will be our last big outing.

Upcoming appointments? Next Tuesday...got results of GBS this week (negative), and she's going to start checking me next week. She usually waits until 37 weeks because she doesn't like stir anything up before you're full term. Thankfully, she's decided to check me a little early this time since I've been having so many contractions. Last time, I got checked at 35 weeks, so I've been dying to know!
Rants/Raves/Questions? The mobile arrived this week, and I'm almost finished cleaning out the closet in the nursery, so we are almost ready! I think I'm going to go ahead and pack my hospital bag (or at least start) on Monday. With all these contractions, I keep feeling anxious that I don't have it ready. But I'm sure I won't end up needing it any time soon!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? BHs and contractions all the time, alternating between can't breathe and extreme pelvic pressure...what the heck?! Heartburn, etc. I am SO glad my hips aren't killing me, though. They were awful last time.

Upcoming appointments? Next week, 8/25. I have a my GBS test. I really don't want to get undressed.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I really need to nest. DD is starting school in two weeks and we have zero done for baby. I need to refurnish a dresser, find another dresser, fix my cloth diapers, put up the crib, wash baby clothes, pack bag, and busy other essentials. Ugh, let's put it all off another week.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Nauseous, like really? I never experienced this before. I mean I was sick while in labor with DS, but every morning I have been waking up nauseous this week. Please go away!

We don't really have anything planned. School is starting for DD in two week and we really haven't done anything to get ready for baby so I think we are going to keep everything low key.

We are in the process of selling our house and buying our "forever home". I'm hoping we'll be in the new house before LO shows up!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Baby has finally started to engage and my bump has dropped slightly. Happy that things are progressing but had a walk yesterday and it was so uncomfortable!
RAVE- DH & I celebrated our 3 years anniversary yesterday, DH had the day off work and was nice to just spend quality time together.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Everything you'd expect at this stage of pregnancy. Baby girl must really be running out of room as her stretches are becoming more and more uncomfortable each week.

We were supposed to be taking a trip for the day to the beach to celebrate our anniversary but because of typical UK weather it has decided to rain even though it has been sunny this whole week *figures*
Instead we're having a few friends around this afternoon for a chilled sesh of games & pizza.
Edit:- Because these fruit & veg comparisons are starting to sound all the same to me when really at this point it should only say one thing... HEAVY!

I feel like there is so much to do still. I haven't done anything for the new babies arrival. I have everything and have done some stuff for the other kids transition, but I feel like I'm going to have the baby and be like "shit! We have nothing out for a newborn. What do I do again?"
Im really hoping my husband can take at least a few days off of work. I'm really going to need his help.

Does rolling over in bed count as a symptom? Seriously, it's so difficult. Or worse yet, lowering your kids into their cribs, and trying to stand up while holding one of them.

Ug! Don't even get me started. My DH brother is getting married over Labor Day weekend (I'll be 36 weeks) 5.5 hours away. I'm so anxious about it. DS2 came at 37w1d. It's just going to be really difficult with the kids and being so pregnant and being worried I'm going to go into labor. If I'm having contractions the week of, or losing my MP I'm going to have to stay home. I'm hoping I can go and enjoy a little family vacations. But I have a feeling it's going to be anything but relaxing.

@mhilpisch10 I totally understand the trepidation surrounding your brother's wedding! It's hard when you're so far along and anything could happen...but people in the "outside" world think it's all nbd until the big day comes! I hope you are able to make the decision that is best for your family when the time comes and that your brother and his wife-to-be are understanding if you have to miss the event!
