1. How far along are you? 10 weeks 1 day

2. How many multiples are you expecting? 2 little miracles, I think fraternal

3. Any recent appointment updates? Released from the RE last week, my 1st OB appt is Friday

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? Nauseous all day, but today is the first day in a week I haven't thrown up, yay!

5. Any baby bump yet? yep, it's there, really popped within the last week

6. Team Green, or will you find out? can't wait to find out!

7. Any current cravings or aversions? recent craving- peanut butter, I had to have it this morning, other than that i've been eating a lot of dairy- sour cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, etc

8. Anything else you want to share this week? Had a crazy insurance issue come up yesterday, there was some kind of glitch, said I was terminated, so I had to rush home and fax them our marriage certificate and tax returns, and thankfully it's all been reinstated, but after spending all day stressed and crying yesterday, I was so upset, just glad it's taken care of!!

GTKY: Announcement Ideas- If you have announced, share how, of if you haven't announced yet, how do you think you will do it? Haven't gone public, only our immediate family know and my job, but after our ob appt Friday, I think we are going to finally tell DD this weekend, so I'm thinking of getting her a big sister shirt, and having her open a box with a framed picture of babies and her big sister shirt, and then when we decide to go public, post the pic of her in her shirt, but we were thinking of some sort of "Labor Day" announcement, so still looking for ideas out there!

Tomorrow is my appointment!
4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc?
The nausea has not subsided at all. I thought it might be getting better but sure enough, this morning like clockwork. Also, migraine from hell going on day 4. Anyone have any remedies besides tylenol? That crap has NEVER worked for me lol
5. Any baby bump yet?
Nothing huge. Just a lil' one.
6. Team Green, or will you find out?
Definitely find out. We did the stupid intelligender pee in a cup test thing and it said boys. Hubs is thrilled and I will just be happy when we know for sure!
7. Any current cravings or aversions?
Bordens chocolate milk is an every day thing. Last week I was having a virgin bloody Mary a day but now I'm kind of over it.
8. Anything else you want to share this week?
Just excited for tomorrows appointment. Not sure about what is going on since they took the midwife away two weeks ago and gave me a different doctor. I'd love an ultrasound.

Only family knows right now. When we didn't realize their were two little beans we gave his parents a card and pacifiers saying "Hold these for when I come to visit because knowing my parents, they'll forget them." Our plan for the big announcement is either both of us make the hand heart on my tummy or thing 1 and thing 2 onesies with our shocked faces lol

1. How far along are you? 8 weeks, 6 days

2. How many multiples are you expecting? 2 fraternal twins, each with their own placenta.

3. Any recent appointment updates? got a extra confirmation that there are only two in there (they weren't sure if there was three!). Healthy heartbeats, 151, 148.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? my breasts are super sore and have swollen up a size, I am waking in the night to pee and eat. if I don't eat every couple hours I feel sick.

5. Any baby bump yet? I think it's more bloat than bump at this point

6. Team Green, or will you find out? Definitely finding out this time. we were team green with our DS.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? Apparently nectarines make me want to throw up. I learned that the hard way when I tried to snack on one this morning lol.

8. Anything else you want to share this week? I wish I could get a scan every week lol. just for peace of mind. I hate first trimester and all the stress

GTKY: Announcement Ideas- If you have announced, share how, of if you haven't announced yet, how do you think you will do it?

We told our DS by giving him a shirt that said big brother and our US picture. it took him a minute to clue in but he's so excited. We were going to wait a little longer before we told anyone else, but he's already told two of my co-workers and multiple of his friends so he's not going to be able to hold the secret for long lol. we will probably tell family next week. We're going to get him to wear the shirt and see who notices. But, not sure how we will announce that there's two!!

1. How far along are you? - 11 weeks & 5 Days

2. How many multiples are you expecting? - 2 Little Miracles (Di/Di Twins)

3. Any recent appointment updates? - We had our first appointment with the MFM doctor yesterday. We got our first really thorough ultrasound and it was so cool to see the babies actually looking more like little babies than blobs. They were squirming all over the place and wouldn't be still for the ultrasound tech. He told us we were going to have our hands full. The MFM clinic also agreed to take me on as a full time patient so that I don't have to bounce back and forth between them and my regular OB and that means I get to deliver at the hospital that I prefer! Woot! It really was a wonderful appointment.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc?- My symptoms have definitely settled down. I am still really tired, but that is honestly my only symptom at the moment.

5. Any baby bump yet? - Absolutely. It has really popped out over the last week or two.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? - We are going to be team green if we are able. The ultrasound tech yesterday did tell us that sometimes people accidentally find out with twins during the anatomy scan but they would do their best not to show us anything we didn't want to see.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? - Still craving Sprite and all things carb. Cereal is my new favorite meal.

8. Anything else you want to share this week? - Nothing at the moment.

GTKY: Announcement Ideas- If you have announced, share how, of if you haven't announced yet, how do you think you will do it? - When we told the grandparents, we gave them a picture of our pup sitting next to a sign that read "Guess What? I'm Going to be a Big Brother! That's Right...Mom's Pregnant. March 2017". It was pretty cute. For the rest of those in our general circle we just told them and showed an ultrasound pic. We haven't gone Facebook/Instagram public and probably won't for another month or so. But when we do, I plan to share two pictures, the first is DH and I holding one pair of booties with a caption that reads "We Planned, We Prayed" and then a second photo with two pair of booties with a caption that reads "...and God Laughed" I found the idea on Pinterest.

@Finallyhismrs07 so glad you get to stay with your MFM! GL with the anatomy scan! Our techs were always very good at hiding it, when they needed to scan certain areas, they told me to hide my eyes, and when they would first put the wand on I would divert my eyes just incase a certain area was in plain sight...I was always reminding them though before every scan that we were team Green because I didn't want any "oops" LOL It was the best feeling when DD popped out and they told me it was a girl, it's the best surprise! But after that, I don't think I can be team green with 2 more on the way, I need to know to plan ahead now LOL

1. How far along are you? 10 weeks 5 days

2. How many multiples are you expecting? Identical (for now, mono di) MFM is suspecting that the placenta maybe splitting, hence could be didi, but we will see with a later ultrasound.

3. Any recent appointment updates? saw MFM again on Monday, babies are doing great. *Grow grow babies grow grow* my uterus has straightened from its tilted position. Seeing my regular ob/gyn Friday @ 11 weeks.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? I think MS is better, food aversion still there for sure, some intense food cravings, sore nipples, I get some random headaches, constipated, oh the main thing is im always so so so exhausted. I feel like a balloon....

5. Any baby bump yet? totally. its def there.. It just popped out a lot this week.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? Did the Genetic testing on Tuesday. they said the results will take 10 days to get back, so the results among other things should tell is if they are B/G B/B or G/G. =] we want to find out for sure!

7. Any current cravings or aversions? beef... which is new.. I did like beef. I don't like beef now... I don't actually like a lot of stuff..... cravings: chicken biscuit sandwhich, OJ and oranges.

8. Anything else you want to share this week? last week was my 1st 10 days w/out an appointment ultrasound, it was rough!!!! I thought my MFM will want to see me less but she has me every 2 weeks and so does my ob. but now its like falling on the same week. My Ob doesn't consider 1st tri to be over until 14 weeks.

GTKY: Announcement Ideas- If you have announced, share how, of if you haven't announced yet, how do you think you will do it? even though our close family knows, and a few friends, I cant wait to do an announcement. I think I wanna do something with two peas in a pod =]

PS: still super thankful of all yall girls on this board. it has been such a stress reliever to know everyone here is on the same timeline as me, going through similar things. praying for happy and healthy for all our little kiddos.

Today we had our follow up ultrasound. Ultrasound confirmed 4 strong heartbeats and all 4 measuring on track

Exhausted, naseous... I find I have to force myself to eat lately.

5. Any baby bump yet? No bump yet

6. Team Green, or will you find out? We want to find out

7. Any current cravings or aversions?
Aversion to everything!

We haven't announced to anyone yet but when we do we plan to include our 21/2 year old son I. The announcement!

1. How far along are you? 10 weeks, 6 days

2. How many multiples are you expecting? Di/di twins

3. Any recent appointment updates? None this week...really hard to get used to less attention since I've been discharged from my RE. Keep reminding myself I've had like six times more ultrasounds than most pregnant women and to just be grateful.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? Morning sickness dramatically decreased around 9 weeks -- not sure if I should attribute that to the b6 and unisom or if it's true that morning sickness often starts earlier and ends earlier with twins. Disappearing symptoms make me nervous, but my husband reminds me that my morning sickness got much better several days before our last ultrasound when everything was fine.

5. Any baby bump yet? It was just bloat until today. Now it's unmistakable. Dressing to hide it for work remains a huge struggle and I feel really frumpy because all my work dresses are sheaths that show the bump way, way too obviously. I've mostly been wearing pants with untucked blouses.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? Will find out, but might keep it to ourselves. We are finding out if there's at least one boy this week. We told our parents that we declined that part of the test.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? Aversions are getting less intense, but I still don't have much of an appetite. Still just want bland carbs although I'm not gagging at the thought of more interesting things.

8. Anything else you want to share this week? So anxious waiting for Maternit21 results...

GTKY -- we aren't planning to do any big announcement or reveal. We've told a few people just by telling them. Their shock when they find out its twins has been hilarious, but to be honest I'm way too anxious for fanfare. I told my best friends via text message because I didn't want to watch them freak out -- it still feels too tentative for big celebrations.

@anonellis I feel ya about trying to hide the bump! I've been getting away with it the past few weeks because it's been dress down/summer hours at the office, but starting next week we go back to normal, and I know I can't fit into my work pants LOL it's going to be leggings and dresses for me ha!

@MrsNap_515 thankfully, I booked a vacation months ago for my entire week 13. If I can just hide it until then, I'll be happy to tell work when I'm back and exactly 14 weeks. I'd like to wait longer because I'm concerned about being staffed to good cases, but it looks like that's out of my hands...

Random question -- has anyone asked their doctors when we are supposed to stop flying/traveling far from home? I've tried googling but can't figure out the answer because it seems to mostly apply to singletons. I assume it's early because you don't want to be put on bedrest or have preemies in a NICU far from home... just wondering if anyone else had gotten an answer yet. Obviously I'll seek out my own medical advice, I'm just curious as I'm looking at my calendar. I'm assuming a flight for thanksgiving is out.

@MrsNap_515 What a nightmare with the insurance! I'm glad you worked it out.

@anonellis my doctor ran through travel in my first real appointment on Monday. She said that I can travel, but not to go anywhere with zika and that with singletons the cut off is 36 weeks, but she wouldn't be comfortable past 32 for twins.

Also, SOOOO smart to book the 13th week off of work! I already had a vacation in week 5... I sure wish I had put it off.

@mrsyimster what kind of genetic tests did you have?

This is my first pregnancy and my doctor was explaining the NT scan and tests to me and told me that with twins (suspected fraternal) that the blood test isn't always accurate and that if something comes back as abnormal they have no way of knowing which baby it is. She also mentioned that many times there are false positives and then you either have that hanging over your head or move forward with more invasive testing. Has anyone else's doctor said something similar?

I might do some more research, but I think we're going to pass on the screening at 13 weeks. I do still have an ultrasound scheduled.

3. Any recent appointment updates? Just found out on Monday. Still in shock. Next appointment isn't until the week of Sept 12th. Not sure what day, I have to reschedule due to work drama.

4. How are you feeling, symptoms, etc? The morning sickness is still going strong. I'm hopeful that I might get lucky and have it taper off soon. I've been nauseous since week 3, and have had full blown morning sickness since week 6.

5. Any baby bump yet? Mostly blump, but I expect a bump by next week. I've already given up on non-stretchy pants. I'm going to have to be really creative with my outfits for the next 5 weeks. I'm going to be recycling the same stuff over and over.

6. Team Green, or will you find out? Finding out. I'm not really a planner, but I'm a worrier. Any outcome would be OK with me, but I think knowing would make the day of less scary/worrisome.

7. Any current cravings or aversions? Want: Carbs, starch, etc Don't Want: big meals, chocolate, coffee

8. Anything else you want to share this week? Still shocked to be here. I should have asked more questions at the doctor, because I have been relying too much on Dr. Google... and now I'm terrified about all sorts of things I didn't know could happen.

Well, my Grandma's 90th birthday party is on Saturday. All of the kids/grandkids were tasked with creating a scrapbook page for her. I've decided to announce the twins on the page. These will be the first great grand kids. The party won't be big: 2 brothers, 3 cousins, 2 aunts, 3 uncles, (brothers' and cousins' SOs) and my mom. Of the group only 3-4 use Facebook and will be on strict no FB orders.

I'm going to have the scrapbook page read:

"Only the best grandmas get promoted to GREAT Grandma! The ______ twins coming March 2017." I'll include scans of the ultrasounds of the pair and one of each baby. I'll only be 9w 3d, which is pretty early to announce... I was NOT going to do this until I found out it was twins. Now, I feel like if anything happens I'll need the love and support of my family.

For everyone that read this far... THANK YOU. Sorry for the novel. I have a lot of feelings.

@direwolfmini what a cute announcement!!! we announced to our immediate family at my ILs 50th anniversary, we wrote our names/DD's at the bottom of the card, and said Grandchildren 9 & 10 on the way

@anonellis I plan on asking my ob tomorrow at my appt, because I have a family wedding in Florida in the beginning of November, and I want to know if they'd recommend me flying at that point, but last time i had a rough last part of pregnancy, so not sure how it's going to go this time with 2!

direwolfmini its for testing for like diseases and stuff to see if I am a carrier, but it also can show the fetal dna. I think the lab my doct told me to use is Progentity

I had my first ob & mfm appt today! Got to see the babies again, they look so cute, almost looking like humans, waving and kicking all over! Found out they are di/di fraternal, I go back in 2 weeks for my NT with the mfm, I'm starting to feel a little more excited after today! We are thinking of telling DD this weekend, and taking her with us to the next appt

I can't wait!

I don't know if this is the right place to write anything but any of my multiple mama's experiencing sharp pains in the lower abdomen area? Doctor acted like it was nothing when I was there yesterday since we got to hear 2 strong heart beats but the pain is awful today. Almost to the point that I can't focus on anything at work and it takes all I have to get up and move at all. I don't know if was all the poking and prodding she did yesterday or what.

My pains are quick and goes away, my doctor told me today if it was constant I have to call her..good luck hon

3. still have not found the desperation between the 2.... going to high risk specialist for another ultrasound in the next few weeks...hoping their equipment is able to see a membrane
4. Still feeling very nauseous and tired
5. Bump starting
6. Will find out....going on the 6th so maybe we will see then...but maybe not because still early
7. Pasta...And KFC HAHA
