Everyone I talked to swore by them so I got one. I couldn't tell a difference except that I'm constantly pulling it forward and hoping it's not tugging on her neck. Ugh.
I got one of the anklets because I'm terrified of the strangulation hazard, but I haven't used it much. His foot was so small it comes off (unless I put a sock over it) and he hasn't seemed to be teething really bad yet. My friends all swear by it too!
I bought one and didn't notice a difference...until my mom, who keeps DD while I work, yelled at me for not putting it back on her because her drooling was out of control...she hasn't complained since I put it back on her!
LO can't wear one while at daycare and I wouldn't be comfortable allowing him to sleep in it, so I don't see a point in buying one. I have one friend who used it and she said she didn't see a difference.
Good info,I have read alittle on these but wasn't sure if they actually worked but I may just get one and see,we have two teeth on the bottomnow and about to get a top one.I did order a nursing /teething necklace I wear he chews on and we love it!!I order supplies on test and started making my own it's much cheaper that way and I can make all different colors and designs for different outfits ")
I think the amber necklaces are really pretty, but I'm pretty skeptical about their effectiveness for anything medical or medicinal. I do, however, love silicone teething necklaces that LO can gnaw on! There are some really cool ones on Etsy. Easy to wash, and some of them are genuinely good accessories.
Also if u look up silicon beads on stay (if u have the time)that's where I order the beads to make the teething necklaces, u can make 5for the price u pay for one;)
My 2nd baby was an awful teether, so I was willing to give it a try despite the fact that it's completely anecdotal. I did feel like we saw a decrease in fussiness and drooling. I haven't gotten one for this baby - I'll wait and see if he seems to be bothered by teething.
DD has had one on since about 2 months and I feel like it has definitely made a difference with fussiness and drooling. I guess we'll see once she has teeth come in how truly effective it is. We put it on her wrist and just wrap it around a few times, she doesn't knaw it on it all, I think she's just used to it being there by now.
I take Alexia's off when she bathes and sleeps. She just started teething pretty bad again so I'm still not seeing how this necklace helps. But when you're desperate, you try things that you don't even believe in lol. I just don't like seeing her in pain
